I need to add some text slides to my FCPX movie. Ideas?

You can add Level 0 members by manually edit the outline and add the level 0 member.
Another option is you can create for example, a parent child relationship of the member in
a text file and load using rule file. In both way, you need to use EAS.
You can refer to Essbase DBA Guide, Building Dimensions and Loading Data. Even though
it is in version 11, it is still valid for version 7.1.

How can add some text on the image

I have images in the gif format.
How can I add some text in specified point on the image?
Fpor example, by using Intermedia plugins?

We do not support this functionality. I suspect you are talking about watermarking?
I would suggest you send a message to [email protected] , the product manager for interMedia and describe your application. This would be helpful in defining future requirements. He may also know of partners that can supply this technology.
You can add text to an image using JAI or some other packages before the image goes into the database, or when it goes out.

MMS + add some text = 2 chat bubbles... did i just get charged twice?

I noticed when I send a pic using MMS and add some text to it, I get 2 chat bubbles; 1 for the pic and 1 for the text. Does this mean I got charged twice? I went to an AT&T store Saturday to ask someone and he said yes but the tone of his voice sounds like he was unsure. Is anyone else sending MMS with some text and seeing the 2 chat bubbles?

No. You can confirm that by looking at your usage/bill.

Hi,
If you are using the prompts with presentation variables or referring only the columns separately then you can create individual prompts and place static text between them.
But if you need to have both the prompt columns together then create the prompts and use 'space' as the label names for both.(ie prompts would appear but the name wont appear). And create a static text in the page or in a report and place in the page. Which appears as the name of the prompt with 'OR' between the prompt names.
This should solve your problem.

1st time editing anything, and I'm using FCP X. I need to insert a few photos to my video. Each photo will be on left side of the screen and on the other half I want text displayed. Can anyone explain what I need to do? Thanks!

my preferred method is, to create the whole frame in some pic-processor: background, cropped pic, title. Import resulting jpg to FCPX - done.
To do the compo in FCPX alone:
• add a background to the main storyline (Generators)
• add pic 'on top' of it; use Transform tools to size, crop, place it
• add title 'on top' of it, use Transform tool to size and place it.

W2 PDF Print - Need to add some custom fields

We are upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. PDF form HR_F_W2_MULT_07 is working well and good.
But we noticed that some of the custom code in the sapscript didnt get translated into the PDF.
For eg, We need to print a Sequence No. right below Employer information.
Suppose we execute PU19 for 25 employees, the seqno should be ranging from 1 to 25 on the 25 W2 s printed.
-- I modified the form and incorporated a field for the Seqno.
--I am aware that we can modify the structure P10_SHR_F_W2 and in customer Include CI_P10_SHR_F_W2, we can add the field for SeqNo.
-- But as this is a custom field, not derived from any infotype, How the logic for incrementing the Seqno can be incorporated in program RPCTRPUA ?
-- Is there any Badi or User Exit available for this ? Or a SAPMOD is the only option ?
-- Is there any other method of acheiving this result. ?

As far as I am aware the only way to add data is to either customise the view or change the PO_COMMUNICATION_PVT package. Both of these are standard and therefore I suspect that customising them is not supported. But as far as I can tell you don't have much choice if you want to use the java PO print.
Yes I did customise the view definition. Although the additional fields should appear in the XML they won't appear on the output if you are using the seeded XSL-FO template.
I wrote an rtf template and converted it to XSL-FO (standard export option from the desktop version). Then you can include any fields you want to.

Need to add some if then and set a check in EEM script

OK the below script watches errors on a path. When it crosses the thresshold it sends a trap and changed the netmask on the path to prevent the route to the far node being used. on so this network is built as two seperate networks. For this lets call them network "A" and "B". the two networks do not touch. Even the OAM network to the router is on seperate vlans. so the chalange is to add inteligence to the script to not run if the router on the "B" network with this same script has dissabled the route so we do not end up with the "A" & "B" network isolated at the same time.
Yes I can think of many other ways to do this, but this is what is in place. So how would I set a varible or some flag that I could check to make sure an event has not taken the other path down? Checking for a file or something on a remote box is my first thought. Anyway I am tossing this out to see what some fresh minds might come up with.

You could have the remote box send this box a trap that another EEM applet detects then creates a local environment variable that prevents the local router from executing this SNMP policy. See https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-11745 on how to create a customized trap. The snmp-notification event detector can be used to detect this trap.

Can anybody help me how to add this in the designer form?

You can do this with an unbound item on a View Form. You cannot do it at all for an Insert Form. There is a work around but takes a little explaining for the Insert Form. You need to create a web page from the insert form html, modify it manually. I do it as a simple procedure so it is consistent with the rest of the application. Then all menus, links, etc. need to reference that page instead of the FormInsert procedure in the generated package.
There may be other work arounds. Without knowing more about your requirements, I can't say.

Would like to add some text

I wold like to add about 3 lines of text at the bottom of my clip in a couple of places and i have had no luck at all. i will take any help i can on how to do this as i have tried the manuels way and with no luke. the text overrides the clip and the clip disapears. imovie was simple compared to this.

When you get your text arranged in the Viewer the way you want, drag the text from the Viewer to the Superimpose window in the Canvas.
If the main video is on V1, the superimpose edit will put the text on V2 automatically and allow the V1 image to show.
Normally the highest video track is the only one seen.
Superimpose will use the length of the clip that the playhead is over when you do the edit.
To shorten or lengthen it, drag the right edge in the Timeline when the cursor changes to a double pointing arrow. To move get the cursor to a 4way arrow shape.

The fact that you edited one PDF doesn't mean you can edit another. There are many possible PDF "recipes" which may or may not result in direct edit-ability.
In your original post, you state you've "been doing it wrong."
In post #2, you state "it didn't work."
In post #4 you state "it doesn't allow me..."
It would be a lot easier to advise you if we had more detail in terms of how you're going about your attempts to edit, and what actually happens when you try. For example:
     "I use the Type Tool and click/drag to select text, but it makes a new text box instead."
     "I can't select individual objects. It looks like everything is grouped in one big frame"
     "When I click on text, it gets elected like objects, with anchor points all around."

If I understand correctly, Sonic Kaboom.swf needs to be edited in a separate Flash authoring program and then reinserted into your HTML document.
As Murray said, Flash is dead. Nobody uses it anymore. We use HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript animations which have universal support from Smartphones, Tablets and other web devices that can't support Flash. Look at Edge Animate.

This will work if your filename only has one "." otherwise create a for loop to piece them together the same way I did dnsplit[0]+"_we."+dnsplit[1];
