I need to add songs in iPhone 4S through iTunes 11.

Hi. I have some audio songs in my iPhone 4S.
When I am connecting my iPhone with iTunes for copying song, it shows a message of "Erase & Sync", which might delete my current songs from my phone.
Pls help......

That is why maintaining a backup of all important data on your computer is a good idea (which should include your iTunes library) regardless the platform but especially with Windows.
You can sync iTunes content with iTunes on one computer at a time. If this will be the computer you will now be syncing the iPhone with, iTunes includes an option to transfer all iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPhone, iOS device, or iPod, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store only.
First you need to authorize this computer with your iTunes account or Apple ID with iTunes. After doing so and with your iPhone connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From > the name of your iPhone.
Your iPhone will be erased of all iTunes content with the first sync on the new computer. Another reason why your iTunes library should be included with your computer's backup to avoid this with the same computer after being reformatted or after Windows is reinstalled again for the umpteenth time, or with a new computer.
All photos on your iPhone that were transferred from the other computer will also be erased when transferring any photos from the new or different computer.

First off try and go into your IPhone manually through My Computer and cut photos or anything you can through the device to be able to free space up so that you can continue to do what you want to do with ITunes. This way you will be able to create a backup or do what you have to do to manage your information, photos and texts on your device a little better.

I cannot add songs to my Iphone 4S unless i buy through itunes. I RIP songs from my cds and they go to my library but when i drag to my iphone, it won't allow me to do so. It has that big red circle with the line through it. I connected my ipod and i was allowed to drag and add songs to that. Any ideas why I can't add songs to iphone 4S ???

If you want it added to your Find My iPhone, you would need to sign on your iCloud account to her device.
If she has her own Apple/iCloud ID, then go to Settings>iCloud and turn on the Find My iPhone switch.

I can't transfer songs purchased on my iphone 3gs through itunes to my windows 7 pc. I've done it in the past, but now I can't. What should I do?

I have a iPhone 3gs and I purchased 30 songs and an audio book on my iphone through itunes. I manage my own songs on my PC's itunes. I tried to drag and drop my legally purchased songs and audiobook onto the itunes library on my PC. It will not allow me to do this. When I purchase songs on my PC through itunes, I can drag and drop songs to the iphone, but it won't allow me to do it from phone to pc. I checked a number of sites trying to find an answer. Many of them recommend updating the itunes version. I started to do this, but at the beginning of the update it said I might lose files on my iphone since they weren't transferred to my PC library. I stopped the upgrade, because past upgrades have wiped out all songs, ringtones, books and apps from my phone. (The phone and PC are all authorized.) If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

You can do both. Adding a second iPhone is no more complicated than adding the first; you can also have multiple iTunes libraries on a computer and content from multiple iTunes Store accounts in a library. If a library contains protected content from more than five iTunes Store accounts, you may run into trouble when syncing.

I am was a person with a really slow computer so i didnt want to keep my songs and movies on my itunes. i deleted any songs i added. Now that i have a new computer i realized that i dont have to delete them anymore bc this computer is much faster.
My question is if there is any way to add my songs and movies from my ipod onto my Macbook Itunes?

Unfortunately, you cannot add songs that were added by iTunes onto your iPod onto another computer. But you can transfer your old library, if you saved it on your old computer, to your new computer.
However, if you purchase songs from the Wi-Fi music store on your iPod, you can transfer them to your computer when you sync. (I'm not sure what the directory for Mac is but I guess you should know; File>Transfer purchases from "iPod." I think 'file' is the green circle.)

Only downloads from iTunes will be tied to that iTunes account, unless you subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded the other songs from your computer to it. If you can't remember the account's password then you could try seeing if you can get reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com
If that doesn't work then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
When you've got access to the account you can update the primary email address on it to be one that you still have access to : http://appleid.apple.com

I updated my iphone 5 through Itunes but an error occurred during installation on the phone that read -42110. Now the phone has a usb icon and itunes icon and is not recognized by itunes or my computer (windows 7). I uninstalled and reinstalled. no luck

I attempted to update my iphone 5 through itunes. Itunes backed up the phone. However, when it tried to install the updated software an error message displayed -42110. Now the iphone is unresponsive with a usb icon with an arrow pointing to an itunes icon. The computer makes a connection noise when I hook the phone to the computer but it does not appear to be recognized. It does not appear in the My Computer section. Itunes does not recognize it either. I disabled my security software. I uninstalled itunes, Bonjour, Quick time, apple updates, Aplle mobile updates ect. I reinstalled Itunes and the program still does not recognize the phone.

If you uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, did you follow the steps in this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 exactly. Check and make sure. If you did, then try this support document to get the phone into the Recovery mode. It may take more than one try. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
