I need to be able to download Adobe Reader XI because our LMS at our college is not compatable with Adobe Reader DC. Where can i find an older version of reader?

One of the employees ran the update for Adobe Reader and now two of the programs we use in our business office will not open documents. I need a later version of Adobe and can't find one anywhere?

In some cases, the incompatibility is due to the new HTML5 parser in Firefox 4. You could disable that and test whether the bank site works again.

You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

First delete the new BBM v5 from yoru device at Options > Advanced > Applications.
Make sure your devcie OS is installed to the PC, then run Desktop Manager > App Loader and install the old one.

How do I download the previous version of Firefox (3) as my system won't support Firefox 4 (can't find the older versions archives anywhere on your site).

I already had Firefox version 2 on my mac (OS 10.4) and tried to upgrade to version 4. Couldn't find any details on system requirements, so just went ahead and tried to download latest version. By the time the process informed me that it wouldn't work on my system, the old version 2 had somehow been deleted. Now I have no Firefox browser at all and cannot find any older versions archived.

I just read today about a separately maintained, unofficial version of Firefox for 10.4 users called TenFourFox. They are somehow repackaging the latest Firefox to work on 10.4 (''on non-Intel Macs''). My problem is that I can't find the latest version number in here http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32 as a document, so I can check against "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\CurrentVersion" and update or not, all this is done by a script. It will be great not have to change the versión number in the script every time there is a new release.

Since it's been a year since you download the app, delete the app then re download.

To keep your computer and files safe, you should not go back to Firefox 9. Firefox 10 contains security fixes. You may be able to make your toolbar work by using the add-on compatibility reporter as described in this article [[Add-ons are disabled after updating Firefox]].

Am using 2007 iMac running 10.4.11. Do not wish to upgrade now. Where can I find an external hard drive to work with it? Also need a printer?

I'm using a 20" iMac that I purchased in 2007. It's running OS 10.4.11, and still doing beautifully. But I've got to get serious about upgrading and I don't want to lose the material that's on it.   Purchased an external hard drive about two years ago, copied everything I wanted at that time on to it. When I tried using the h.d. a few days ago it was garbled. Now I see that inside the box it says that it requires OS 10.5+.   Anyone know if there's still a new hard drive out there that would work with 10.4.11?   Can't even find thumb drives to work with my system anymore.   Any ideas would be appreciated.

If I were you I would bite the bullet and upgrade to Snow Leopard. You will still be able to use AppleWorks by installing the Rosetta emulator included in Snow Leopard. And, it's a much better OS version than Tiger.

Try a new profile with only that extension installed.
