I need to be able to find domain controllers that have been removed from the domain but never demoted

I need to find domain controllers that have been removed but never demoted.
Here's the story...
I came on an Active Directory administrator for an organization which has 600+ domain controllers, most running Server 2003, but I have some Server 2008R2. Throughout all this time the organization has had DCs that have stopped working, crashed or failed
for some reason and all the IT department has done is created another domain controller name it the same thing with an (A), (B) appended to the name and then never removed any of the failed controllers from the directory.
Thing is this has been going on for quite some time, don’t know for sure how long as I am still trying to clean up DNS replication problems and have been having to go around and reset machine passwords for the forest. What I need to be able to do is to script
something that will return all the failed DCs so that I can go into the directory and use NTDUTIL to clean the machines. I don’t want to go into the directory and remove a machine that’s still out there. No one in the organization has a list or record of failed
machines.
You can see this may be a gargantuan task, but I need to be able to make it easier on
myself by finding the machines first and cleaning out DNS, cleaning the DCs out of the “Sites” and cleaning them out of the directory.
Appreciate any help I can get…

This FAQ goes over Sharing - yes, a Free user added as a "Co-author" can collaborate, the permissions in the form itself are tied to the author, so if a paid author shares a form the form has paid level features for everyone shared with. In addition the forms shared with Free users do not count against their form quota (of 1 form), they can have unlimited shared forms in their account.

Try this:
Open your iBooks app on your iPad
Select the Store Button at the top
Select Purchased at the bottom
You will see your AppleID on the right at the bottom, then Redeem, then Support
Click on your Apple ID, and when the AppleID window comes up with the options, Sign Out
Then Sign In again and try redownloading your book

Spotlight not finding files in folders that have been extracted from ZIPs

I've got a folder, say 'test', with some images in it. It is located in ~/Pictures.
I have just downloaded another folder as a ZIP file, which Safari put in /tmp and unzipped automatically. It contains some more images. Let's call it 'exif'. I have moved 'exif' into 'test'.
Now, when I do a Spotlight search of images in the folder 'test', Spotlight does not list the images in 'exif'!
(I do the search with CMD-F, 'test' folder only, Kind = Images.)
However, when I create a different folder in 'test' and move the images from 'exif' to the new one, then a Spotlight search for images in 'test' does list those, too.
Also, when I copy the originial unzipped folder 'exif' to 'test' (Alt + mouse drag), then the images in the new 'exif' folder show up in the Spotlight search.
So it seems a folder that has been extracted from a ZIP archive does not get indexed by Spotlight -- only if its contents have been copied first.
Is this a bug in Spotlight?
Am I missing something?
It's pretty bad, because I would always have to remember to copy unzipped folders to a new one, in order to make sure that Spotlight does find the stuff!

Yeah the new search leaves something to be desired (actually the old search wasn't so great either). You get better results using Google's advanced search and restricting the search domain to discussions.apple.com.

I see that you need your webcam drivers. I will be happy to assist but I will need more information then what you provided to help. Did you do a full reformat or a system recovery? Did you reinstall the same operating system? What is your operating system? What is your product number?

Anyone know how to remove Overdrive books from my iphone that have been transferred from my computer? They do not show up on itunes. I see a lot of answers to this question but they all are based on being able to see the books in iTunes.

How do I remove Overdrive books from the library that were downloaded onto my computer then transferred to my iphone? The problem is that they do not show up in iTunes.
I see this question asked a lot when I google, but they always give answers that assumes you can find the books in iTunes either under the books tab, or the audio books tab or in the music. They do not show up anywhere for me. They do not remove from the app like the ones I downloaded directly onto my iphone.the related archived article does not answer it either. I even asked a guy working at an apple store and he could not help either. Anybody...?

there is an app called daisydisk on mac app store which will help you see exactly where the memory is focused and consumed try using that app and see which folders are using more memory

Tap the Photos icon in the Dock at the bottom of of the screen.
If you don't see the photos there, tap Settings > iCloud
Turn Photo Stream off then back on then restart your iPad.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on

Can you share specific apps with other devices under same Apple ID? ...or do you need to enable he sharing of all apps that have been downloaded under that ID?

My family has multiple devices under one apple ID. I want to share only certain apps with certain family members. Is it possible to limit what apps are shared with which devices or do I need to share all of the apps that I download for personal use?

Thanks. I turned off the automatic downloads on the new devices (minis), but when I go into the app store I don't see any of the apps I have bought (for my original iPad) under "purchased". ITunes freezes when I try to find songs that's been removed from iTunes media 'locations' but the songs are still on the computer..

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. I need to delete programs that have been duplicated after the software update has been done. The computer won't delete them. Anyone else having this problem and if so, how do I delete the old program after it's been updated.

After upgrading software, it appears the old software isn't deleted. My computer hard drive is almost full so I need to delete a ton off of my computer. Sig is right — reclaiming space on your hard drive should be a matter of looking for the largest files you can delete, not starting with applications. I have 200+ applications on my hard drive, and altogether they occupy less than 14GB of space. Just a handful of them — Acrobat Pro, iPhoto, Aperture, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Media encoder — are larger than 500MB apiece, and if I disposed of all of those, I'd only get 5.6GB back. My Utilties folder contains 78 apps, and it only amounts to 1.1 GB.
If you have any feature-length movies on your hard drive, those should be the first things you trash or move to an external drive.

Has firefox been removed from the market, coz i cant seem to find it in the market?

Ages ago, i bought a app called vdownloader+ which boasted a unlimited downloading fucntion, the app downloads off of youtube and saves the video to the app and makes it viewable offline with no internet connection, and can download off other compatible sites too. Now its disappeared off the app store, i have found out it cannot have unlimited downloads. Annoyed. Now, there is another app on the app store with a different logo, barely different may i add, and IDENITCAL interface. This person must of created both apps, and i'm not getting any responce off of either problem email addresses which where supplied with both apps. (I downloased the lite version of the new app called Video downloader lite -Vdownload. I need assistence filing a complaint and taking this extremly seriously as i got conned into buying an app.

Where do I find my songs that have been exported to iTunes?

I am trying to get songs ive created on garage band onto iMovie and iTunes and I can't find them once they are exported to iTunes. I don't get any errors or anything just can't find them anywhere. Pleeeeaseeehelp!!

How do you export from GarargeBand to iTunes? You are not saying what your GarageBand Version is? GarageBand for Mac or iPad?
If you are exporting from GarageBand for Mac, you should see the following window on export:
If you want to find the song in the iTunes Library, you can use any of the tags above to find your song: either look at the album name you have chosen, search the artist, look at the playlist you named; or simply enter the name of your project into the "Search Music" search field.
