I need to burn a cd from itunes. There is no burn option...at all. I've tried right-clicking and file command. Please help

I have Windows 7 on a Dell. Open and play iTunes in the compatability mode and use Windows XP (service pack 2). Disregard any messsages to disable the compability mode. This has worked for me. I have also reinstalled iTunes and played with burn speeds etc. These ideas did not work. Compatability mode works.

well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

TS1436 I've now wasted 4 hours of my life trying to burn Audio CDs from iTunes. I can burn from other programs but not iTunes. It pretends it's doing it but when it's finished the disk is blank. It's not burned a thing.

I've also tried different speeds. The CD-R says x52 but I've tried different speeds but that makes no difference.

You cannot. Those will be DRM locked to Apple authorized products. Since you cannot authorize you non-Apple smart phone in iTunes, you cannot play iTunes DRM locked content on it.

I suggest that you open iTunes and hold shift key whilst signing out of match. Now close iTunes and reboot computer. Launch iTunes and then turn on match. You will be asked to add this computer. Do so. Let match process complete.

I can't burn a cd from Itunes.

I can't burn a cd from Itunes....If I try to burn a playlist it says i need multiple cd's and I only have 5 songs on that playlist. If I try to burn it anyway it doesn't do anything.

BTW have tried two kinds of disks, one kind of which I have a burned playlist from last year so I don't think it is the disks.

I cannot burn a CD from iTunes...please help!

I desperately need to back up all the music I have purchased and I cannot burn a CD from iTunes for some reason. I went through the trouble-shooting on this website and still had no luck. I tried to load the songs into my iPod and transfer them to my laptop iTunes as a backup but there's no way all my music will fit on my Nano. So I'm wondering if there's any other way to back up my music files...can I copy them to a zip drive or external hard drive? I am so not tech-savvy and I have so much money invested in my iTunes library. Thanks in advance!

I'm not familiar with this error, but check the following:
-Is your disc a CD or a DVD? You want a CD, not a DVD.
-Is the CD blank? You'll want a blank one.
-Maybe the disc is scratched and cannot be used. Try another CD.
-Maybe your disc burner is broken. If you have another, try it.

I can't burn a disc from Itunes without getting error 4280 repeatedly. I was just able to burn a CD and now can't burn another. Any thoughts? I know my CD burner works as I just made a disc. I have tried changing file type from Audio to MP3 with no luck. Thanks for trying to help me.

How do I get the song titles to appear when I burn a playlist from iTunes?

I burned a playlist from iTunes, and the song titles on the burned CD changed to Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, etc. How can I get the song titles to appear as they do in iTunes? Is this really too much to ask from the world's leading music player software?

If you are burning an audio CD, you cannot as audio CDs do not have track names. Nothing to do with Apple.

After buying and downloading videos from itunes, how can I burn them to a DVD that will play in a standard DVD player? I have tried burning the playlist from itunes, and the disc would not play in anything I put it into.

Out of excitement, I bought both seasons of the tv show "Sym Bionic Titan" from the itunes store, since I can't find it anywhere else, in hopes of being able to burn them to dvds and watch them. When I burned the disc from itunes, it would not play in any player I put it in. Not my dvd player, not my ps3, nothing. Unfortunately, the recording & movie industry does not respect the rights of the people who make them money, and thus you can only use the paid-for content in ways they see fit. Even if I lived in a bunker where no one else could possibly see the movie I paid for, therefor I'm not 'sharing it illegally', I would still not be allowed in a blue moon to copy that movie to DVD for TV viewing. Someone will tell you to get an AppleTV. How about Apple give us one for free? Until this changes, people wanting to use their content in multiple locations will continue to download music & movies via torrents, legally or illegally.
