    If I use google it works. If I use Ichat, it works. If I use skype it works.

    This sounds like something similar to https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3388112?start=105&tstart=0.
    Try turning down the speak volume (System Preferences->Sound->Output->Output Volume)  or the microphone gain (System Preferences->Sound->Input->Input Volume). Do this on both sides of the call.

  • Calling a method on a jFrame from a jPanel that created by the jFrame

    Hi all
    I can not for the life of me work out how to do this.
    Calling a method on a jFrame from a jPanel that created by the jFrame.
    I have used this code to set a handle for one jPanel to another.
    i.e I can create new jpanel and pass in handles from one to another but not back to the jFrame.
    // this is sudo code
      private Panel_Top topPanel;
      private Menu_Panel menuPanel;
      private DataPanel dataPanel;
    //create new
        topPanel = new Panel_Top();
        menuPanel = new Menu_Panel();
        dataPanel = new DataPanel();
    // add handles from one to another
        menuPanel.setDataPanel(dataPanel);
        topPanel.setDataPanel(dataPanel);
        topPanel.setMenu_Panel(menuPanel);
        dataPanel.setMenu_Panel(menuPanel);
    // in each class I use this to set
      public void setDataPanel(DataPanel dataPanel) {
        this.dataPanel = dataPanel;
      }But I can not seam to get a handle back to the jFrame that created it.
    Please help
    as you can see I am trying but no luck so far

    need to retrieve bookmarks from a harddrive from a pc that no longer works, the drive is now in a caddy atached to this pc ,and i can view the data, but dont know the location of firefox bookmarks

    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Backing_up_and_restoring_bookmarks_-_Firefox
    You need to locate the Firefox profile folder on that drive and restore the bookmarks from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
    "Application Data" in XP/Win2K and "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
    Go to: Control Panel > Folder Options > "View" tab > under "Hidden files and folders", select "Show hidden files and folders"
    You may want to un-check the box "Hide extensions for known file types" to see the file extensions of all files

  • Computer was shut down and need to know how to retrieve important information from open tab that isn't showing in history and wasn't bookmarked

    My computer was shut down with live work still needing to be completed within an open tab of Firefox. The site that I was working from had not been bookmarked and a saved link back to the site had not been done yet either. After starting my laptop back up and opening Firefox, I don't have anything in the history taking me back to the site. Can I get back to that session at all and if so how? Or how do I search?

    You would really have to ask the app developer if there is a way to export the data.
    As for adding a printer, you would need to purchase an AirPrint compatible printer and connect it to your wireless network.
    By the way, your holiday letter/rant/Idon't even know what to call it... is completely inappropriate for these forums.

    Hello,
    According to your account you have a Skype Premium Subscriprion which was initiated on Dec 9th 2011 and has a recurring monthly charge. This may be an error which I am checking for you.

  • How can i delete a photo album that has been synced from another computer

    I am trying to delete a photo album that I do not need anymore from an iPad 4. But the album has been synced from a computer that I don't have access to anymore. Is there anyway around this ?

    Photos that were synced from a computer can only be deleted by connecting to a computer's iTunes and changing the sync selection on the device's Photos tab.
    Is that the only album that was synced from that computer (and you now sync the iPad to a different computer ?), or do you have other albums from it that you want to keep on the iPad ? If you want to keep one or more albums on it then they will need to be on the computer that you sync to so that they can be selected on the Photos tab and re-copied to the iPad from that computer. If you want to remove all synced photos then try selecting and syncing just an empty folder

    do i need 3g,4g,wifi to send sms/call somebody ? I could really use some help.

    No, Standard Calls and text messages (SMS) only require the normal Phone service.
    You can turn off 3G/4G/LTE and Wifi and still be able to get and make calls and send and receive sms.

    About to cancel my account and move to AT&T
    TCC TICKETS:  (removed)
    I am trying here for the last resort. After this evening my account along with my business account will be cancelled. Total lines that Verizon will have lost will be 93 lines.
    PLEASE SOMEONE JUST HELP ME!!!!
    I already tweeted and facebook messaged Verizon. Your CS group has gone down hill over the last 3-6 months. I use to enjoy being a customer.
    >> Edited to comply with the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service <<

    not all the lines have ETF's. I have 30 tablets and the rest phones. The phones have ETFs and the tablets are all month to month.
    The total to move my account over is going to come out to about $8500.
    Rep has been trying to get my business for years.  I was always loyal to Verizon until this happened.

  • Help needed: variables may not have been called

    Here's the program, just compile it, it'll out put that 'loop' and 'c' may not have been called and doesn't compile. here it is....
    class GCDTest {

    // Make sure we get exactly two args.
    if ( args.length != 2 ){
    System.out.println( "Usage: java GCDTest int int" );

    // print value of iterative method
    System.out.println( "gcdIterative(" + a + "," + b + ")=" +

    // print oracle's answer
    System.out.println( "gcdRecursive(" + a + "," + b + ")=" +

    because you have declared c in you method
    public int gcdIterative( int a, int b ) {

    boolean loop;
    boolean d = true;

    b = a;
    a = c;
    so when u call your variable from another method that is normal that your compiler can't find it.
    The best way, define your variable outside your method or call your method within your loop.
    Hope that help you

    So I went to the API: http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/api/
    Looked up ServletResponse, then looked for the getOutputStream() method. It says:
    "Throws:
    IllegalStateException - if the getWriter method has been called on this response"
    You can call only one of the getWriter or getOutputStream methods, not both. You are calling both. When you use a JSP, a variable called 'out' is generated (a PrintWriter) from the the Writer you get when response.getWriter() is called. This is done before your code gets executed as one of the functions that occur when a JSP is translated to a Servlet. You then write to that out variable when you print the HTML in the JSP code.
    This is best done in a Servlet, not a JSP, since there is no display and you require control over the servlet response.
