I need to cancel an online number

I need to cancel one of my online numbers asap how do I do this?

Regarding Online Number, if you need to contact them anyways for a refund why not ask if this issue can be fixed? I'm sure they can help you resolve this issue and you get your number working. Just give them details about the issue.

    Online Number cannot be cancelled.
    It is not a recurring payment, so when it's about to expire, just do not extend it.
    If it is a new order and you made a mistake for example, then you might try to request a refund from Skype Customer Service.

    I have recently purchased an online number based in London prefix numbers.
    However, this number has been proven to be an ex-scam number appearred in all anti-scam sites all over the Internet. I accept several calls a day addressing the previous owner. This is very annoying. I need to change the number with another one. How can it be done???

    I have something called a Skype Number. Is it the same as an Online number?
    I received an email letting me know that it would renew automatically. Whatever it is I want to cancel it, and I don't see any way of doing it. Hate wasting my time looking all over a site

  • Cancelling my skype number

    I took a subscription for a skype number in June, thinking it was only for three months. I no longer need it but discover I have just been billed for the coming three months, even though I will not need it or be using it. I can find no way to communicate this problem with Skype folks. Help, please!

    You also need to cancel the Skype Number subscription from your account dashboard (Manage Subscriptions).  If you cannot do this, then please contact Skype customer service who can cancel the subscription.

  • Subscription and Online number conflict.

    I have a monthly subscription (Unlimited Europe) that includes an online number.
    I am being asked to pay to extend my online number (that I've had for a long time), when I click to extend, it says I already have a free number.
    When I give up and click to change the online number and take advantage of the free online number I get with a subscription (even though I thought I already have), it wants to charge me.
    Is it free with a subscription or not because it was when I signed up?
    Also if it is, why am I being asked to extend it?

    I have been a happy Skype user for quite some time, so I thought I would get an online number and a yearly subscription (landlines Sweden). Turns out though, that I am still paying about 9 EUR/month for the premium stuff. I thought I would qualify for premium and not have to pay monthly fees after having spent the money on the yearly subscription and online number.

    1)   I needed an 'online' number to call other skypes accounts ( on their mobiles, on their computer skypes etc.,) - and also I saw the Discount you offer "US & Canada" unlimited $2.99 / month. 
    My kind request ( I will not be traveling outside USA) : Please allow me to have online number at a discounted rate per month ( $2.99 / month instead of $18 for 3 months).
    Two problems here....
    1. The Online Numbers only work to *receive* calls from telephones on your Skype account.  They do nothing for calling phones. 
    2. There is no discount for an Online Number as you describe.  They are either US$ 18/3 months, US$ 60/year, or US$ 30/year if you already have a subscription to call telephones. 
    If you want to receive calls from telephones and make calls to telephones in the USA, you would need two items - an Online Number in the US at the prices I listed above, and some way to pay for the calls you make from Skype to telephones in the US (Skype Credit, or the Unlimited USA & Canada subscription at US$ 2.99/month).  You must have both, in order to be able to make calls to telephones as well as receive calls from telephones. 
    If Skype users you are calling run the Skype app on their smart phones or other devices, you would just call them on their Skype account name.  This would be a free call, not requiring an Online Number or a subscription (or Skype Credit on your account).  You need the subscription (or Skype Credit) only if you are calling those people at their mobile phone numbers, and only need the Online Number if you want them to be able to call you from a telephone and not from Skype. 
     2) transaction date is shown for my order number "626216569" says 6/19/2012 - 02:43 GMT.
    My question: when this will be effective for me to call my relatives and friends who have skype ( I don't have skype so I'm getting a skype 'online' US only number ).
    I hope this helps you to understand my issues - I thought my 'online' number will be ready by this evening , as I did my transaction yesterday ( but it is giving a wrong transaction date too).
    I'm really confused how long to wait to get this 'online' number... and I'm very very excited about this 'online' number that I'm getting , but I don't know when I'm going to get it.
    Again, you don't need to purchase anything if the people you are calling are also on Skype.  Call them using their Skype name, and it is a free call.
    As for what you purchased, you may want to click on the "Support" link above and file a request with Skype Support about that.  I'm not a Skype employee, so I can't look into the status of your recent purchase.

    Actually I would have two questions that are independent from each other:
    1. I tried to call via cell phone the free online number that I received from ring2me.com. After I was asked for ext code (3 digit number) and after began ringing, nothing happened in my skype. I need to mentoin that I haven't set anything inside skype software for this. What do I need to do so I will get the call?
    2. Through whichever application (it does NOT need to be skype so you don't need to mentoin on skype isn't this possible) I also need to get on this same online number SMS. So I need to be able to define the number on my own on which I want to get SMS. Also I should not be required to send any SMS to this particular number in order to receive the SMS. How and where to do this?
    EDIT: Oh and what I forgot to say is: I am from Slovenia but can switch IP to usa, thats no problem. However I want and need to use USA online number to receive phone call to skype. Please answer on my both questions above.

    Hmm getting worried about this now. I have been waiting for a while but still nobody replies. So, again if anyone could answer on both (two) questions so I could use this answers to find the solution then please reply. Thanks in advance.

    Perhaps the number was preowned by a locksmith and had that added.
    Best thing to do would be to block your called ID or change the number associated with it?
    Otherwise, get on to skype support via live chat.

    Im a frequent user of skype. I use skype credits to call my family in Brazil, I live in The Netherlands. Now I need to have a online number which they can call as well.
    I found an article on your website explaining what a Online Number means and the availability in other countries. What I don't understand is: the availability, does this means that you can order a online number if you live in this country or does it means that only those countries are able to call you on that number?
    The goal I want to achieve is that I have a Skype number which my family can call, using their (mobile) phone and that doesn't bring extra costs to them. 
    Extra info:
    - I use Skype on Windows, Linux, Android
    - Most of our calls are ±45 minutes
    - We call twice a month, top.

    Unfortunately, Skype does not offer Online Numbers from Brazil.  You can see the list of countries where Skype has Online Numbers at the "Online Number" link at the bottom of this web page. 
    If you could get your family to use Skype in Brazil, then you could have free Skype calls, including one-on-one video calls, without having to use an Online Number or having them place international calls to reach you in Europe.
