You won't be able to change your country whilst you still have a balance. If you can't spend it then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see them if they can remove the balance so that you can change countries : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

this advice came from someone in a solved part of the forum, who had a long list of computer solutions.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Originally we had 2xiphone 4s we upgraded both phones so I backed up both before hand. When we got the new phone 1x 5c and 1 x 5s. I restored mine first 5c then did my partners 5s but he now has the same apps as me with my Apple ID. How do I change it so his apps are on his own Apple ID??
No. You need to buy it for your Apple ID and for the other. You will have problems with updates

I need to change my iCloud email address. I changed it for my Apple id but I can't log out of iCloud to change it there. Find my iPad is activated so I can't delete my iCloud account. I don't have the email address the iCloud login has anymore so I can't have the password sent there. To sum it up, iCloud has an old email for the account log-in. I don't remember the password for the old email. I have Find My iPad activated so the iCloud account cannot be deleted. And I am already logged out of iTunes & App Store.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I updated my Apple ID primary email address without having switched off 'Find my....' on all devices. A 2 hour very helpful call with Apple Support solved ny Apple ID and ICloud. Later, I tried to update apps but my iTunes account is still on the old ID and I can't access that email/password anymore. I can't get a support appointment for 48 hours but need to update travel apps soon!
Do I need to reset to factory settings on all devices (5!) and start again...or how else can i get iTunes to link to my Apple ID now?

I need to change my Apple id in iCloud but it is gray and a delete option does not come up.
I have changed my email address but can not change it to sign in to iCloud because it is gray and won't let me access the old account. I do not have an option to delete the old account and can not reset the password on the old account. When I try to reset my password to the old account it tells me that the information (my birthday) does not match the Apple records. I have viewed the utube videos and read the instructions on how to change your iCloud password but I can't get to the screen I need to be on because I can't get past the initial (old) log in requirements.

It won't show on iCloud because iCloud is associated with a specific Apple ID. The music should be on your computer's iTunes and a Sync will put it on the iPad (be sure to configure iTunes properly). If you want to get it from iCloud, I think that you need to temporarily change your ID back to the old one but I've never done that myself.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

I have a new email address and want to change my Apple ID which I did manage to do but it won't let me change my iCloud email address. I have spent days and hours trying to find a definite answer on what I can do with my situation. I have been able to figure out that I cannot change my apple id because my apple id is my icloud e-mail address. But does that leave me no option? Does that mean that I will have to create a new apple id and subsequently I will also get a new icloud e-mail address? If so, then how will I retain all of my purchases? Is it possible to delete my icloud account and then change my apple id?

If you want to want to change your Apple ID and your iCloud email address, you'll need to create a new Apple ID using the name you want, then create a new iCloud account with it and migrate your data to the new account. After creating your new Apple ID, save any photo stream photos on your iOS device that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account. You will then have to recreate your notes in the new account from the emails you sent earlier. When you turn on Mail in Settings>iCloud you will choose your new @icloud.com email address.
Once this is done on the first device, if you have other devices, you can just save any photo strema photos, delete the existing account, then choose Delete from My iDevice (since the data is already in the new account) and sign back in with the new ID to download the data.
You'll then have to decide if you want to keep using the old ID for iTunes or not. Personally, I wouldn't recommend changing it to a new ID for several reasons. First, all of your current purchased media is tied to the current ID and cannot be moved to your new ID. This means that you will end up with different things purchased with different IDs over time, which can make things complicated. Secondly, if you have already enabled automatic downloads, or have downloaded previous purchased using your old ID, you cannot change it to your new ID for 90 days from the time you first did this. Once this waiting period expires you can then change to the new ID and access previous purchases with your new ID, but you would not be able to access previous purchased from the old ID again for another 90 days. (This is what I mean by it being complicated to have multiple Apple IDs for iTunes purchases.) -
How on earth do I update my Apple ID to my new email address? I keep getting moved to 'change my password' sites, but I have a new email address and need to update my Apple. Frustrated!!
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server).
Then sign back in with your new ID. Your iCloud data will disappear from your devices when you sign out, but reappear when you sign back in.
I re-iterate: before you start, turn off 'Find My Mac' (or whatever) or you will need the services of Support.
