Monica, I know the Normal Character Style in Illustrator must be defined. But my question is about the Normal Paragraph Style, not the Normal Character Style. As Larry just said, in most of my documents, and in my New Document Profiles, these fields in the Normal Paragraph Style are blank (undefined), so I know this is possible. In a few older documents I'm converting, the Normal Paragraph Style has a defunct font, and even though my Normal Character Style is correctly defined with the current font, it's creating some weird behavior.
Larry, it doesn't appear to be the document itself, it just appears to be not knowing what the right keystroke combo is to clear it. Just make a new file from a Document Profile where the Normal Paragraph Style does not define one of those font fields, define a font and/or font size, save, then reopen the paragraph style settings and try to clear any field that has been set. I can't clear it, I can only change the font.

Try plugging your ipod into your computer. Then start up itunes. Let it load everything. Then click on your ipod and play a song from your ipod's library. Not your itunes library. If it plays the song, then go ahead and stop it, disconnect your ipod, and check the content once again.
I had the same problem and beleive it or not, this worked. I synced my ipod like 5 times before finding this answer on the web. Let me know if I need to clerify anything.

There are two ways you could do this.
1. Go to settings>general>reset then select the option "erase all content and settings"
2. Restore to factory settings with iTunes on a PC/Mac. The article below can show you how to do this:

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

For the last few days my Netflix doesnt load. I hit my link and all I get is a white screen. Anyone else get this problem? I cleared out my cookies cache, got rid of starlight and it wont even load enough to get to the log in page...

I am working on software project, which is Pawning application

which is standalone application developed by using JavaSE 1.4.
It use Oracle as the backend.
This software product runs on 50 branches.
Database installed on Head office, all the branches are connected through the VPN.
This environment it is very difficult to release new development changes (.jar file) to the branches. I have to copy .jar file to 100 machines in 50 branches.

As I know web based solution will overcome these difficulties. But, web based solution is not full fill some sort of requirements. So, I have to developed it as standalone app.
I am just asking you what is the best Software Design Pattern of implementing this type of software product.
Is there any solutions to over come the installation problems ? ex: - JNLP/ Spring framework

Clear browser cache

I'm using LC Forms 6, and we have a form rendered in HTML. Once the form is submitted we want to be able to clear out the browser cache upon rendering the form in it's final format, which is a submitted successfully page. Is there a way to programatically clear the browser cache either through javascript in the form designer, or in the Java servlet?

You can open the Options dialog from the orange Firefox button or the Tools menu:

Clearing out the Cache

I have been working on a huge project where I needed to export everything to the client from XDCam EX1 to a Standard Def 16x9 timecoded stock demo reel. Now my computer is saying it is running low on space on the C: drive when the project is not on the C: drive. I found GIGS of data hidden in a Cache directory and I'm trying to find out how to delete the cache files without just going in and deleteing the directory. Is there a setting in Adobe to clear out the old cache files?

Clearing out user entered variables

I have a BI 7.0 query that displays materials that have not moved in 'X' number of days.
1. My variable screen shows "No movements since <blank>". The user enters a number in this variable (ZV_NUM_DAYS)
e.g. 90.
2. I created a variable (not ready for input) on the movement_date field. This variable gets populated by a range of dates based on the "Number of Days" entered by the user in I_STEP2 of the variable exit.
eg. LOW = 19000101
HIGH = SY-DATUM - the value from user entered variable
I still need to clear out the user entered variable ZV_NUM_DAYS so that a filter of '90' does not get applied to the cube.
I cannot clear out ZV_NUM_DAYS in I_STEP2 as it is user entered. I tried doing so in I_STEP3 - clear out E_T_RANGE for the variable. The debugger shows me E_T_RANGE cleared out however it still sets the filter of '90' in the cube.
Any thoughts on how to clear user entered variables ?

@Arunkumar - could you please elaborate on this option ? I don't know of a way to create variables on key figures.
@Dennis - I tried turning the cache off - no effect. Turns out when I change e_t_range values in STEP3, it does not save the change somehow. Although the debugger displays the modified table data.

Clearing out lov field

Hi all
I have a radio button and 2 other fields field1 and field2 besides it.
Field1 and field2 are both LOV's. Based on the radio button value my cursor goes either to field1 or field2. I then bring up the lov and everything works fine.
I'm having problems clearing out the fields for eg when I move out from field1 to field2 then field1 needs to clear out.
Can someone pls help me with this?

I apologize, the default value was NULL indeed. However, it seems like I may need to manually clear this value so that it will not be displayed.

I need help figuring out how to Link Data from one table in Sharepoint to another table in Sharepoint and make it dynamic

I am working on a project that uses SharePoint 2010 for repository and we have multiple tables that we are using.
One table is a list of the various projects we are working on (workstreams)
The other is a table with various notes and such, to include meeting notes for the various projects.
Currently we are just copying the shortcut from the meeting notes table and adding it in as a link in the workstreams status table.
I need to find out if there is some sort of way to make this process dynamic so that when a new note is added for, lets say workstream #1 in the notes table, it will automatically propogate into the notes link section for workstream #1.
Is this even possible??
And if so how would I do it
I haven't done much with modifying SharePoint in several years, and would Truly appreciate any and all help with this.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a link in the workstreams list linked to the associated item of the notes list.
Assuming the workstreams list has Title column and another column called “Note” used to linked to notes list, and the notes list has Title column and another column used to store note.
Then you can create a workflow on the notes list with SharePoint Designer 2010, and in the workflow, using “Update ListItem” action. And in the workflow Start Options, select “Start workflow automatically when an item is created”.
For the workflow action, you can set as the screenshot:
For the string in the String Builder, you need to open an item of notes list, then copy the URL of the display form and paste here, the URL will look something like this:
http://sp/Lists/notes/DispForm.aspx?ID=1&Source=http%3A%2F%2Fsp%2FLists%2Fnotes%2FAllItems%2Easpx&ContentTypeId=0x0100300025278693CE49A5E3A394B23AD9E1&IsDlg=1
Now, you need to replace the ID of the item using [%Current Item:ID%], for example in the above link, delete the number 1 and add [%Current Item:ID%].

Where is browser cache file for Firefox 5.0? For example, if I hear a sound on an url, how do I retrieve it or anything else that's in the cache??

Where is the browser cache file in Firefox 5.0? It's my understanding that in prior versions, one only had to type "about:cache" in the address bar to retrieve the cache file. But this doesn't work on 5.0. I want to retrieve sound files from Cornell.edu ornithology website but cannot find where the file is located. In IE6.0 one only had to go to tools > internet options > settings > view files = viola!! As for prior versions of Firefox, the plug-in CacheViewer was very helpful but is incompatible w/ Firefox 5.0. Please help!

How do I clear out a previous image

I had been using the .SetSize 0,0 successfully, until the images got larger then 8192 x 25000 at which time I get not enough memory errors.

You didn't say much about your problem. Clear out the image from what? A specific control? I can tell you that 8192 x 25000 is an enormous amount of graphics to try to load into memory and I'm not surprised you are getting memory errors. Tell us a little more about what you are doing and we may be able to help.
