I need to completely delete my current Apple ID.

If anyone knows how to completely delete an Apple ID, I would be very happy if anyone could respond.
I keep getting this:
This Device Is Already
Associated With an Apple ID
You can auto-download purchases
on this device with just one Apple
ID every 90 days. You cannot
associate this device with a different
Apple ID for 42 days.
PS: I currently do not own a working computer, so i need to do this on my iPhone.
If I really need a computer, then i will just go buy a MacBook Air.
Also, which kind of Mac should I buy? ($1,000 - $2,00)
Thank you for your time,
     Sean Wells

How would deleting your id help?
All of your purchases will always be tied to that account.  You will have to update any apps purchasedusing that account.
Why would you delete it?

Only by restoring your phone as a new device using iTunes, or Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You follow this by syncing your content back to the phone. Either that, or you live with it. The data will be overwritten as you use your phone.

  • Can I Delete my Current Apple ID Account then Re-Create/Re-Register a New Version of It but Use the Same Apple Username & iCloud E-Mail Address I Had Before?

I already had an Apple ID before registering for iCloud e-mail.
This means that my Primary Apple ID is my @gmail.com e-mail address (the one I originally registered my Apple ID with), however I'd prefer that my Primary Apple ID were my new @iCloud.com e-mail address.
Yet, I already know that it is simply not possible to make my new @iCloud.com e-mail address my Primary Apple ID in any easy/simple sort of manner.
My understanding is, the only possible way I could use an @iCloud e-mail address as my Primary Apple ID now is to make a brand new Apple ID account. However, I want to keep/continue using my current @iCloud e-mail address and my Apple username (JRCSaunders) -- I don't want to have to choose a new @iCloud e-mail address or Apple username.
So basically what I'm wondering is if there is any possibility that I might be able to completely delete/erase my current Apple ID and then re-create a new Apple ID using my current/existing @iCloud.com e-mail addressas my Primary Apple ID and re-using the same Apple username I have now (JRCSaunders)?
I'm just trying to think of a work-around so that I can make my current/existing @iCloud e-mail address my Primary Apple ID, which does not seem possible without having to create an all-new Apple ID account. But I don't want to create a new account if it means having to change any of my current addresses/names/etc. to new/different ones. So, is what I described (deleting then re-creating using the same names/addresses/info) possible?
    Thanks!

  • I have Windows 8.1.  I need to COMPLETELY delete Itunes

My computer and Itunes got off on the wrong foot, and when I had Itunes on there it would not recognize my Ipod.   (My old Windows Vista system has no problem with the Ipod.)  I am pretty sure if I can get a clean re-install on there it will fix the issues.    I have tried several times to delete Itunes completely from my Windows 8.1 computer, but no matter what I get all my old playlists back.
I have gone through the whole "delete Bonjour, delete Apple Mobile Device Support, delete the Apple files." etc.   Every single time it reloads with all my old stuff and all my old problems.
HELP!!  I am so frustrated.  I cant decide if I hate Windows 8.1 or Itunes more.  I just want to be able to load music on my Ipod....and I cannot unless I pull out my old computer and do it from there.

    Hey jsolo80,
Sorry to hear you are having these issues with iTunes. If you are having issues updating iTunes on your Windows machine, particularly if you are getting an "error 2" message, you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:

  • I need to completely delete my card details for purchases. How do I do it? As I can not even download free apps coz it says billing info declined or something!!

How do I remove all billing details? I cannot download free apps without being taken to billing info, then it says its declined! I'm sooooo annoyed been trying for hours..

For an account setup with a credit card, you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

However, you will still have to use the original account to update apps purchased with the original account.

  • HT1311 For some unknown reason I have two Apple ID/Accounts in operation which is causing an issue. How do I completely delete one of these Accounts?

For some unknown reason I have two Apple ITunes/ID Accounts in operation.
How do I completely delete one of these Accounts?

I have a similar situation.. in my case, I started using an Apple ID a while back, then when MobileMe was introduced, I got an account there, and somehow that is the account that is mostly used when making updates or purchases.
Sometimes when making updates, it prompts me for the PW for one account, and sometimes for the other.
This is a real pain - is there anyway both these accounts can be consolidated into one?  When I asked an Apple rep, I was told 'no', but they have been known to make mistakes when giving advice.  So, is there a way?  Technically, I don't see this as a problem.. but Apple seems to be of the opinion that this would lead to having apps 'shared' amoung users. I think all that would be necessary if for me to provide the necessary proof that both accounts are indeed mine, and not belonging to someone else.
If not, what about deleting the apps registered to one account, and then re-purchasing them with the other account?  To do this, I would need to identify which apps are registered to which accouts - is this possible? Most of my apps are free, but there are a few I paid for.. not many, so this possible solution might work and not cost too much.  Ideas?

  • How i can delete and remove apple ID of old user and add my current apple ID to used i pod touch?

how i can remove and delete apple ID of old user and add my current apple ID to used I POD TOUCH

Unfortunately, you cannot delete Apple IDs but what you can do is go to Settings>Store>and sign out of the old Apple ID on your iPod and the sign in to the new Apple ID.
All of the apps that were purchased under the old ID will still need the old ID's password for updates.

  • How do I delete a current icloud account so I can try again to set one up using my original apple id?

when I first downloaded the os icloud would not allow me to use my existing apple id to create an account. this even though the id is an email account. so I went ahead and established a new one. now I realize that was a poor choice. shoud I just delete the new iCloud account and try again to use my existing apple id?
will deleting the current iCloud account cause any issues with my iPad apps?
    Thanks

OK found the answer in anothe discussion thread. On iPad, delete existing account by going to settings-iCloud-and tap red delete account bar. Sign in with the Apple id you want to use. This worked for me this time. Even though when I first tried to set up the iCloud account, I got error messages and thus was forced into creating the new id.
    Anyhow, success.

    Hi Friends...
I’m trying to delete a back-up file on mu TC but I get the message “The operation could not be completed because the item “bands” is in use. I’d like to start the Back from scratch, could help me out with deleting the current file?

Sorry, I am very confused. I asked the following question....
Is this the only backup file on your Mac, or do you have other backup files and data on the Time Capsule disk?
The answer that you gave was....
    This is the only one
    Now you are saying that....
But I have lots of other files on Time Capsule! The back up file is only one of them.
    Can you clarify, please?

  • I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id.  Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id.  How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?

I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id.  Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id.  How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Hello javyocks,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Concerning the issue with multiple Apple ID's, please look at the following:

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.
    Take care,

    <Personal Information Edited By Host>

iTunes content you purchase is tied to the Apple ID used to download it. You cannot update from a different Apple ID. Also, these are public forums and Apple isn't here, so you posted your password for all the world to see. I'll ask the moderators to remove it.

  • I need to know how to delete an old apple account and to create a new account because i forgot some related information

i need to help to delete an old apple account and to reate a new account because i forgot some related information for the old accounts

If you have iCloud and/or iTunes accounts just sign out of them (however iTunes Store purchases cannot be transferred to a different account). You can create a new ID at http://appleid.apple.com - you will need a different non-Apple email address.
However if you've forgotten the password to the original account, go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com; click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'
