I need to create a gif banner out of 2 logos in cs4

Hi All,
I need to create a banner using my 2 logos to put on a site that animates between the 2 logos. I will resize them both to 180x50px as requested. But I have no idea how to do this at all. Can I do this is photoshop cs4 or do I need to use something else? sorry if I seem thick but i am new to photoshop and really need to get this sorted asap.

You can incorporate an FLVPlayback component that automatically loads the desired video. You could also make use of the NetStream class instead of having the component. Google either one to get information on using them.

How to create an image banner that slides left to right with mouseover?

I need to create a web banner like the one on the following site: www.gracelandbaptist.org. I have been unabe to find anything on how to create such a banner. I believe it was created in flash but am not sure. I want my banner to work in the same fashion so that as the mouse is moved from left to right the banner will slide appropriately. Its possible that some java script might also have been used with flash. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful. Thank you.

It is a Flash design and is unlikely javascript is involved with the interaction. There are probably a couple of ways to approach such a design, but if you have no experience with Flash, you will probably struggle to create it. The basics involve place the different images in a movieclip and controlling the horizontal position of that movieclip based on mouse interaction/position. THe position controls are based on what values are needed to have a particular section of the movieclip occupy the main section of the viewing area. Actionscript Tweens are probably employed to manage the position transitions.

Do NOT use Fireworks for print work. Use Illustrator, InkScape, InDesign, Scribus, Xara Designer Pro, Photoshop, etc, anything BUT Fireworks. Fireworks is meant for web graphics.

Need to create multiple Premiere Pro Titles out of a Text file

Hi everyone !
I'm using Premiere Pro CS6. I've prepared a *.txt file (plain text) with about 70 lines (each line has 5-10 words max) and I'm looking for a way to create multiple PP Titles out of it (one Title per line) but in a "batch" manner (i.e. without having to create a new title each time and copy-paste the line-text in it, etc) as I need to end up with all 70 titles in my timeline...
Could you possiby suggest a way to do this ? Something like "importing" the *.txt file in Premiere Pro and auto-breaking it up into 70 separate titles or something ??

the bummer part is -- well -- will that make the text less crisp, less clear?
also, if we are creating a lot of slides, ideally, we would have an easy way to create clear videos of our slide presentations.
i tried a bunch of slideshow tools and it is amazing to me how bad they are.
anyway, i am using this gruesome but brilliant workaround right now (the ms word, indesign, premiere combo).
as brilliant as it is to have found this kind of workaround solution -- it amazes me that adobe has such profound resources -- and these apps behave so belligerently.

You can select 5 (or more images) and place them by dragging in Adobe InDesign. After creating document go to File > Place, navigate to images and select them. In InDesign start dragging and press right arrow key couple of times then release mouse button. You can export file as PDF, JPG, PNG image from File > Export.

I need to create a pie with a cut out of it...

I need to create a clean, crisp logo as follows:
Even though it is a transparent background, there is a white sporatic outline around the type and the circle. I need to create one pie where the cout out portion is transparent and another where it is colored. It took days to do just the above which is abismal. I painted with white and used the eraser to create the cut out and used the line tool to shape up the triangular sides. Trying to create a crisp curve at the top of the cut out has proved impossible. Believe me... put this on a colored background and blow it up a bit and its very amateurish.

EVERYTHING on your ipod should also be on your computer and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
Make sure that everything is on your computer. You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases.
When everything is on your computer, then it can be synced back to the ipod after updating.

If you want to raise your web design skill level above that of the average iWeb user, you can try creating your own. The actual form layout is fairly easy if you use CSS to style it since the amount of HTML is minimal now that table layouts are a thing of the past.

button on that that frame and give an action to jump to the next

first thank you very much for helping me,
i am about creating an animated gif like the background you can see in war craft 3 frozen throne for a game,
i have to design it first with high quality so i need to know best adobe programs can do that, although i need to know the easiest, so i need to know both of them the best and the easiest so if didn't made it with the best i can made it with the easiest pro, and please put in mind that i need a program to design the image from nothing so i will draw it or design it i don't know depending on the program it self but i will not use it for editing or use an image already there, i need an elite pro that allow to create the image from nothing.
after that i need to create an animated gif for the image (gif not good for high quality images so if you know better please tell),
for example "Her hair moves with the moving wind" so i need to move it, i don't know how so i need a program to make it move too.
last thing at the end i need the file type be accepted in html(5) adobe games programs like flash builder or flash pro for example, i know flash pro can animate it but will not design it, thank you again.

It may require a few different apps. Clearly the number one app is you and your ability to conceptualize. And, it depends on what type of animation you ultimately want produced. Game graphics is a lot different than a web banner animated .gif. I'm thinking Illustrator, Photoshop, Edge Animate, and After Effects.

Creating a gif with images

I am using CS6 and I need to create a simple GIF using three images. This GIF should step through these three images. Is there a help file or tutorial that can show me how to do this?

that you can't just cut a hole in your gif to make a space

normal, functioning website. (Having been negative about
that, the
pages LOOK really good!) But there's no text for search

spider, and the weight is heavier than it needs to be.

Can I create a gif file with hyperlink hotspots?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to create a gif file in Photoshop or Fireworks than I can upload to a website as a background image to my profile page, but I would like to be able to include a few different hyperlinks embedded within that gif file, so for instance if a user clicks on the text for a website this acts as a hyperlink and opens the site in a new browser window.
Is this possible or not, my knowledge of Photoshop/Fireworks is quite limited but as far as I can tell, this is only possible if I'm exporting the image from Fireworks as an HTML document, and that's not what I need .. it has to be in a gif or jpeg format.
Can someone put me out of my misery please and let me know if its possible to embed one or more hyperlinks within certain areas of a gif file?

Emergency, very frustrated! Just need to make a basic banner without reading an entire book!

I need to make a flash banner with three images, with a simple "cover left" or "reveal to right" type transition between them with maybe a 7 second delay and then repeat infinitely.
I have been trying for days to do it in various programs, and have resorted to flash but I'm out of time. Could anyone tell me the simplest way to do it? Thanks

Flash might have some built-in transitions, though I am not aware of them. WHat you will want to do is create symbols out of each of the images, graphic or movieclip symbols will work fine for timeline tweening. Here's some hopefully simple instructions for doing a timeline Tween using what are known as Classic Tweens.
Take one of your image symbols and place it in a keyframe on its own layer. Estimate the number of frames for the transition time you want to realize and right click on that frame down the timeline in the same layer . Choose Insert Keyframe. That will place another insatnce of the same symbol in that frame, with the first nstance extending to the frame just before it. Next, you can right click the first frame and choose Create Classic Tween. That should cause the section between the two keyframes to turn blue with an arrow extending from one to the other.
The next thing you can do is adjust the conditions of each of the instances, whether you intend to have it move or to gradually fade in/out or whatever. After you have made the adjustments desired to one or both of the instances, you should be able to either scrub the timeline or play the file and see the tarnsition occur.
Note: To fade in/out you want to set the alpha property of the object via the Properties panel Color Effect selections.
Your best bet will be to play with it and hopefully get a handle on it quickly so that you can work out the rest of what you intend. If you do not put a stop() command in the timeline, then the movie should loop continuously. If you want a smooth tarnsition between the end and the tstart, just relaize that you need to have the end of the animation transition into what it will be at frame 1.
