I need to create a report using only one record

I have all this records in my database but i would like to create a layout where it will automatically fill it up with the information of a record i would chose.
example:
i got a list of over 200 hundred products and i would like to see in a personalized layout the complete report and characteristics of only the record selected.

assuming each record has a unique identifier (like an item number) you can use the function vlookup() to "pull" data out of the database table.
Beyond that it would be most efficient if you provided the firlds of your database and the layout of the report.

Iu2019m having Crystal Report Designer XI R2 SP4. Iu2019m trying to create a report using XML data source stored on disk. This is a customer order report and the xml is structured in such a way that it has an order details header part (master) and then it has several order lines (detail). One order line can have several order line characteristics (detail-detail). So what I need to know is now I can design this layout from the designer. If this was done using views I can do it with sub-reports but using xml data this seems to be different. Can you help me to design this layout? I have included the xml and xsd as well.

Thank you for the response and ideas you have given me so far. I can get the fetch the data from the data source without any problem. That is I do the following,
1.     New Report
2.     From Create New Connection-> XML
3.     Provide the u201CLocal XML Fileu201D and have u201CSpecify Schema Fileu201D checked -> Next
4.     Provide the u201CLocal Schema Fileu201D -> Finish
Then I can see the following under XML

For this point onwards only I need help. How do I group, add fields and design the layout so I can get an report output as follows.

Yes, but it only has one generic Date column, no start date and end date. I can't use that twice in the prompt. Although I can specify it to be 'between', but I'm not sure I can pass values to both variables like that.
Currently I have used Campaign Start Date and Campaign End Date to enter values in calender format to the variables.

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

Create statspack report using sql*developer

While connecting with PERFSTAT user I can not create statspack report using SQL*Developer:

Error starting at line 1 in command:

Actually, my problem or question is that how can PERFSTAT user can generate statspack reports from a Client side. What is the other way a non-dba can see the snapshots histroy and generate report (by using perfstat user ) while joing tables or using views?

For statspack i don't know a solutuion. I think the best idea is, create a job to make the statspack report on the server side and access it via external tables or mail them forward to you.

Creating a Report Using a SharePoint List

I am using a SharePoint List that Named as 'Service Requests'. It has some fields with Date, Time, Status. The Date & Time will be entered. The Status as three values & those will be selected using a Drop Down List Box. The Statuses are 'In Progress,
Completed, In completed'.
I want to create a Report using this SharePoint List that include status with other fields in monthly basis. As an example I want the report about the Service Requests within the December month.
I also need to know how am I able to link this report to a Web Menu that in the SharePoint Site. Because there is a web menu in that SharePoint Site. I have not developed this site so I don't know the type of the web menu of this site.
I think someone can help me to solve these problems.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a report based on a SharePoint list.
I agree with Trevor’s and Mohammad’s suggestion to use SQL Server Reporting Service to create the report for SharePoint list.
You need to configure Reporting Services for SharePoint 2010 and then use it to create reports.

Dynamic reports means based on user selection(for eg. say by selecting values from combo boxes) some query will be genatated and fetch the query result from data base and displayed results in iReports only my problem is i am working on Netbeans IDE and i have installed iReports as plugins in netbeans IDE. and i am not able to find any tutorial that show me how to work with iReports under netbeans IDE. and how to create dynamic reports in iReports. If u know any such tutorial then can you send me link plz...!

You may need to activate some additional business content if not already installed but there are a lot BI statistics you can report on. Have a look at this:

Creating a report using unrelated facts

We the following Scenario where we have 2 date dimensions, Transaction Created Date Dimension and Application Created Date Dimension. Both these tables are aliases created in the OBIEE Physical Layer of RPD from the same source table - Date Dimension which is created in the database.
We have 2 facts -
1. Transaction fact which is joined to Transaction created Date Dimension.
2. Application Fact which is joined to Application created Date Dimension.
We need to create a report which shows 4 columns,
1. Application created date
2. number of applications
3. Transaction Created Date
4. total Transaction amount
When we try to create this report it throws us an error,
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14026]
Is there anyway we can resolve this?

Hi All,
I have a similar problem with the related facts. Here is the scenario,
I have two facts ( Fact - HR- Event Information and Fact - HR - Salary Event Information), both of them have same physical table as source but conditions in the business layer in the content tab is different(second fact has got some additional conditions). These two facts have no join between them in the business layer.
I have a dimension table 'Dim - Employee' which is joined to both of these facts in the business layer. I have also set the dimension hierarchy of this table in the facts (set the logical level to employee detail in both the facts)
I then moved these two facts to the presentation layer. When i select columns from the dimension table and any of fact i'm able to see the results, but when i select columns from both the fact tables i'm getting this error,
[nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14026] Unable to navigate requested expression: Fact - HR - Salary Event Information.Salary Change Reason. Please fix the metadata consistency warnings

Create SSRS report using Schedule Perfomance Index(SPI) from mpp file

We have project server data available in sql server. We need to create SSRS report to show schedule performance Index(SPI) of each week of all the projects. So we have the TaskSPI data available in MSP_EPMTask_Userview table. But the corresponding project
status date is represented once for each projects. Is the weekly status dates keeping anywhere in the database? How can achieve this functionality?

Hi Julie,
SPI is calculated at task level and is also a timephased indicator (since BCWP and BCWS are also timephased). There are calculated based on the status date (project tab in the ribbon) which is at project level. The project status date is not kept in
time, this is a unique value thus you do not have a weekly status date.
Do you mean you want to keep an history of each value of the status date? Does it really make sense?

How to create crystal reports using MSDE 2000?

Hi,
I am using Crystal report 8.5. My Database sqlserver 2000. I generated reports and are working fine.
Now I want to use MSDE 2000 instead of Sqlserver 2000 due to license factor.
My application is developed in VB 6. The all the parts of the application is working fine except the report.
All reports produced Database DLL error.
So I opened the report and try to verify the database. But it gives pdssql.dll not found. Database error.
After this error, I tried to create a new report and found that there is no option for MSDE 2000 database selection under more database.
I usually select Sql server 2000 database under More Database option of location wizard.
How to create crystal reports using MSDE 2000?
Is it due to crystal report 8.5 verison problem? I also have crystal report 11 licensed copy.
Please give me the good solution as early as possible

To use the inproc RAS SDK with CR.NET, you'd have to purchase either (1) Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Developer edition, and apply Service Pack 2 or above, or (2) Crystal Reports 2008 (not Crystal Reports Basic that comes with Visual Studio 2008).
