As the subject header states, I purchased new mac, but lost my serial number and no longer have access to registered email. I had purchased the Creative Suite Web and Design C6 version. Support said they can only forward my lost serial number to the registered email. Since she was without effective tools, she recommended I post something on the forums for support. Anyone have the ability to get me back to using my suite?

Only the person(s) you spoke to have the ability to provide you with the serial number. People here can merely suggest where to look for it. If you registered your software when you installed it originally then you should be able to find your serial number stored in your Adobe account online in the Products section.
You might want to try updating your information in your account if the email is the only thing holding back from getting the info sent to you.

Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.
Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate.
1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.
/etc
3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
When asked Authenticate with your Mac password.
Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.
Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.

Need to deactivate two computers associated with my PSE 7 serial number.

Hi, I've installed PSE 7 on a new computer but my serial number is not working.
I assume the reason is I need to deactivate the two computers associated with the serial number from previous installations.
I have contacted the chat/help desk and was told to come here for further assistance. I'm currently stuck in a trial period.

No, I did not have to purchase the upgrade. But here is what I believe my
error was: earlier today, I upgraded to LR 5.6 on my laptop. Then I
upgraded to the same on my desktop, but became confused and installed it
TWICE.
Is this the reason that Adobe is asking me to license Lightroom and to come
up with a serial number? (I have my serial # from LR4, but it does not do.)
Should I try to deactivate LR 5 and then try again to upgrade to it?

I am really frustrated about my new Photoshop CS5.1.
When I installed the s/w, I entered the serial number. All was working ok until it decided I was on a trial and asked me to enter the serial number again. When I entered the serial number, it gave me an error saying the serial number is invalid.
I tried the uninstall and install again - but to no avail.
Now the "trial period" has expired and I cannot work with the product anymore. With a bunch of customer deadlines, I am stuck. This is really frustrating for a product that cost so much to purchase.
Please help.

CS masters is activated but still asking for serial number and stating it's invalid!

I recently used fireworks, but at startup it suddenly asked me for my serial number for CS6 master collection. upon entering the serial number it states that this is invalid!

The installation files for CS6 and older versions can be found at Other downloads.
If you have migrated/copied/transferred your applications from one computer to another then it could cause any serial number entered to be seen as invalid. I would recommend using the uninstaller appropriate for your operating system and then reinstalling.

So I bought a Used copy of final cut pro 7, but i cant use it because I need a serial number and the serial number that came with it doesn't work. What do I do?

First, find out if you bought an "Upgrade" version, or a "Full" version.
If you have an "Upgrade" version, it will require two serial numbers to work - first, the serial number of the last "Full" version you are upgrading from, then the serial number of the "Upgrade" software you are installing.

You would have to deactivate that software from your older machine first.
Refer to the following link to deactivate your product .

After it is deactivated from the older machine you can use it on your new machine just by entering the serial number of the product .

the serial number, adobe id and password, I cannot intialize the installation. Another screen appears "Setup wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this." What password does it want? My adobe password is not accepted.

It might have to do with the application your are trying to install. What you downloaded could be a different flavor of the product you think you had. You should check you Adobe account to see if that's the case.
