I need to deauthorize all 5 of my authorized computers
i recently restored my computer and i wanted to connect my ipod touch into it. when i clicked transfer purchases it said you need to authorize it. so when i went to authorize it it said you already authorized 5 out of 5 computers and.. i only have 2 computers, a laptop and a pc. so how can i deauthorize all the computers even though it says i have to wait a year plz i need this fast because im traveling on vacation and i cant sync my ipod.
ITMS=iTunes music store, kind of an outdated term. I think apple just calls it the itunes store these days, since it now sells more than music.
Why the restriction? So you don't go running around authorizing thousands of PCs with your account and thereby foiling the limit of 5 PCs playing purchased content.

I need to deauthorize all 5 computers that I have authorised because I have a new mac but I can't deauthorise them because I have done so already this year. How do I authorise my new mac then?
You will have to deauthorise one of the others individually (iTunes menu Store>De-Authorise this computer).

i need to deauthorize all of my computers before adding my new one. will my library remain intact and will i need to simply plug my ipod touch back in to the pc? thx
1. The library will remain as is. Back it up anyway.
2. Authorize that computer individually before connecting the iPod touch to it.

I need to deauthorize all of my computers, will it affect what i already bought with itunes, digital copies, etc and once i authorize it again, will I be able to watch everything i had on the same computer with my digital copies and everything else?
No it doesn't affect your files.
Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

I lost my computer and I need to deauthorize all computer but itunes wont let me
I lost my computer and I already have 5 authorize computers but I need to authorize my new one. Itunes wont let me because it says I have to wait until december 15. Is there a way I could do it?
Hello,
Actually you can do it by yourself.
In iTunes, go to the iTunes Store > Sign in > click on your account > put your password > view account > in the Apple ID Summary section choose "Deauthorize all"
Now you can put your contents on 5 computers !

Deauthorize All, but still have 5 computers authorized!
So I have pressed "Deauthorize All" and I still have "5 computers are authorized to play content...."
I received an error about iTunes store not available, bla bla bla.
Now when I press Deauthorize all again...I have to wait until Nov 2013!!!!!!!
Are you kidding me?!
And I have to pay $35/hour to speak to someone at Apple???
Is this my excuse to switch to a Galaxy??Have you used the deauthorize All option any other time in the past year? If so, that would explain why the option is not appearing.
On the page where the Deauthorize All button is supposed to appear, do you see the Change Country or Region button?
You may need to contact iTunes support and explain your situation to them.

i need to de-authorize a computor that no longer works. i undersatnd that i need to de-authroize all computors associated with this acount and then authrorize each computor that i want. question : will i lose my music libary??
No, you won't lose anything. De-authorising only means not allowing a computer to play purchased content but it won't delete the file.

I have used all or almost all of my 5 devices under my I'd on iTunes. Several are on old computers no longer in my possession. Should I simply deactivate all devices and start over? I just want to make sure this does not invite unanticipated issues. Thanks,
Yeah, if you're up to five authorisations I'd deauthorise all and then reauthorise the ones you still have access to.

Computer stolen and I need to deauthorize it.
My macbook pro was recently stolen and I need to get the music on to my new one. I tried to just deauthorize all 5 of my authorized computers but it will only let me do that once a year now so I'm unable to. Is there anyway that I can deauthorize my stolen macbook?

I need help to deauthorize all
hi
I want to make (Deauthorize All) in iTunes, but does not allow me only in Jul 2012
Please helpThe Deauthorize All command can only be used once per year, which apparently you did back in July of 2011. If for some reason you really feel you need to deauthorize your systems again now, you can try contacting the iTunes Store customer support department through the form on their Contact page and why you now need to deauthorize all your systems again. They might be willing to clear your authorizations for you.

Also, is there a way to manage which computers are authorized if I dont have them anymore (select which computers to deauthorize instead of all of the)
You lose nothing.
Deauthorize all, then authorize the active computers. -
Once i deauthorize all computers, can I reinstate more than one immediately?
I have already 5 computers authorized for iTunes, but I don't own three of them any more. I am trying to download purchased items, but I would need to deauthorize all of them in order to include those I no longer own. Once I do that, can I authorize the two computers I still own immediately again, so that I will not loose my library from the main computer I still own and the one I am adding?
Yes.
See Here for full details...

Please Note: Deauthorise all five can only be done Once every 12 months -
How do I deauthorize all my computers in Itunes?
How do I deauthorize all my computers in Itunes? I have gotten a new computer every two or three years and then given them away when I got the next one. I just got a new Dell Precision Work Station and am trying to get ITunes up and going. However, I keep getting a message that I have already authorized the limit of 5 computers and that I need to deauthorize all of them and start over with my new one. I am struggling with the interface of the new ITunes and cannot figure out how to deauthorize the computers. Please help.

Hello. I am currently preparing a presentation in CS4, and I've run into a really strange issue. Said presentation is roughly 3000+ frames, and easily over 100 layers deep, with a lot of fade-in/fade-out animations. It's also suposed to have sounds.
