I need to download msvcr80.dll

Were cann I find aps Daemon.exe

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

    just reinstalled itunes due to need to fix msvcr80.dll error;
now itunes wont run because itunes library.itl cant be read created by newer version itunes.
how do i resolve this ?

By way of experiment, let's first try specifically choosing a library for iTunes to open.
Quit iTunes if that error message is showing. Now hold down your Shift key, and then open iTunes. (Keep holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening.)
You should see a dialog asking you if you want to choose or create a library, as per the following screenshot:
    Click "Choose Library ..."
You should now see a screen like the following screenshot:
Select the "iTunes Library.itl" file (shown circled in the screenshot) and click "Open".
Does your iTunes library open without the error?

I have a Lenovo x300 XP and have just installed Logitech harmony remote 7.6.0.8 software. It will not launch from the shortcut do to the fact that I do not have tvt_banner.dll on my system. I have searched for the file as well as manually searched for it.

    Hello AggsterD,
I understand you need to download the Solution Center using the Photosmart C4795. I will do my best to assist you! I am happy to hear @Gemini02 fixed the "HPZIDR12.dll" issue. I would recommend looking for the Solution Center on your computer just to make sure. Is your operating system Windows 8 or Windows 7?
Check to see if your desktop has a Solution Center icon: If not, click on your Start Menu, in search programs and files type in Solution Center. Let me know if anything comes up.
Next, you want to make sure the Digital Imaging Monitor is running. Please follow this HP document on 'No HP devices have been detected'. Only perform solution three and four from this document.
If the Solution Center is not installed on your computer, please run the installation from the HP website here. This installation should detect you don't have the Solution Center and just install this feature.
Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great night!

  • HT2963 What is msvcr80.dll?

I was not able to upgrade itunes, I keep getting a response that says I need to install MSVCR80.dll. I am not sure and don't have a clue as to what to do.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Well I was able to successfully revert back to iTunes8. Here's my steps:
    1. In Add/Remove Programs I deleted all Apple products (iTunes, QuickTime, Safari, Bonjour, etc.)
    2. I then check C:\Program Files\ and made sure all folders were deleted (QuickTime, etc.)
    3. I then ran a Registry Cleaner program to make sure all entries from Apple products were removed.
    4. I then rebooted my PC
    5. I then downloaded iTunes8.0.2 from here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/ipod_itunes/itunes802forwindows.html
    6. After it installed it said it could use my iTunes library file because it was created with a newer version. So I re-created my library by following these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
It took some time but iTunes is now back up and running. And I have all my playlists, etc. I haven't tried to sync anything yet. I'm just thrilled to have my iTunes back!

  • I keep getting an error message when trying to download i tunes. It says it's looking for MSVCR80.dll and I find it on my computer so I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

I keep getting an error message when trying to download itunes. It says it can't find "msvcr80.dll, but when I search for it on my computer it is there. My itunes was working just fine before I got the message to download the latest upgrade. I've not had any problems doing that before now, so don't really know what to do.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
