I need to edit the title of my podcast, The Inconvenient Truth.

I need to edit the title of my podcast in iTunes. It is called The Inconvenient Truth. Somehow, the words "file in podcast" got mixed in there with my title and I need to clean it up a bit to make it look more professional. Thanks for any help you can give.

You are making your podcast in WordPress and submitting it to Feedburner to pass on to the Store. If you want to change the title you have to do this in WordPress: however it looks as if Feedburner generates the feed filename from the title:

so if you change the title you will likely change the URL and iTunes will lose contact with the feed. I don't know whether it will do this (logically it shouldn't) but you would have to find that out from their Help (if any). Otherwise you can only try it and if the feed URL does change, change the title back.
As you don't have direct access to the Feedburner feed, then if Feedburner changes the URL you will not be able to add the redirection tag necessary to change iTunes to a different feed - so it's possible you may be stuck with what you've got.

VOB files are "muxed" MPEG and as such are not compatible with QT. Even if you have the QT MPEG-2 Playback component ($20) installed, QT is not "natively" compatible with AC3 audio. Basically you have to options:
1) Get iMovie '08 to do a "Camera Import" which will convert the AC3 audio to Linear PCM and stor it in an MOV file container and then modify the MPWG-2 content effectively turning it into a Motion-JPEG and merge the modified video to the same MOV file container with start and/or end offsets to minimize drifet between the two.
2) The other option is t copy the non-zero VOB title sets to your hard drive and then use an MPEG-based, third party converter like iSquint (free), MPEG Streamclip (free) with the QT MPEG-2 Playback component ($20), FFmpegX (donation-ware), Visual Hub (pay-ware), etc. to converte the VOB files to an "edit" compatible iMovie '08 (or eariier version) compression format.

I need to edit the iPhoto library on my AIR. In Finder it says the library is 38.58GB but clicking on Info in Events shows that I have 8,422 photos and that the total is only 18.9GB. Why the discrepancy?

This is the estimated sise of the resulting folder if you exported the entire library at the current setting.

This is the size of the Library installation. It contains all the versions of your photos, cache files, database files, thumbnails and so on. All are necessary for iPhoto to work.
If space is an issue then you can move your Library to an external disk.
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

I need to edit the length of a song for a dance performance.

I've changed the start-stop times in three copies of a song to create a gapless album.The problem is that the times in one copy CHANGE to those of another. I've tried creating seperate playlists for each edited copy and creating AAC version for each with no help. If you have no ideas regarding the timing glich is there a way I can burn each individually to the SAME CD(current settings in I-Tunes will only burn to a blanck CD)?

Follow this procedure:
Find the original track in iTunes. Right-click, Show in Explorer. Right-click the file, Copy.
Go to your desktop and Paste the file. Right-click it and Rename the file by appending a "2" at the end of its filename. Then drag it back in the folder where the original is.
Once it is in the folder, right-click it, Open With > iTunes. This will make a new track in your iTunes library. It will look the same as the original, except it has a new Date Added. When you find it, right-click the track, Get Info, and change its title by appending a "2."
Now iTunes will treat them as 2 separate tracks. They can each have their own Start/Stop times.
If you need a third, just repeat, this time appending a "3," first to the filename in Windows, and then to the title in iTunes.

What is the most cost effective program to "view" only "ai" files, no need to edit

I would like to know what is the most inexpensive program to view only vector "ai" files. I receive artwork from artists and need to view, but have no need to edit the work. I find Illustrator to be very expensive for this view only option. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I tried a few programs on the web such as softusolve and they opened everything but "ai" despite saying it opens these file extensions.

You didn't say what operating system you are using but if all you are doing is looking at the file and you are on a Mac, then try Art View: http://www.code-line.com/artview/

Editing a Title on a flash gallery

I started building a gallery in flash before i realised that it was a bit out of my reach at the moment so I downloaded one and set to work altering it for my purposes ( and learning some action script at the same time ) but I've hit a problem. The title in the .fla file can be changed font size etc however after the first frame it's then replaced by another which i can edit but only by editing the .xml file does anyone know where / What I need to look for to alter the size positioning etc. There is a .xml, mc_tween.ac, xmlsa.ac and a timer.ac file as well as the .fla any pointers would be great TY.

first place to check is the xml. anything that was designed to be editable will be there and should be easy to edit.
beyond that you'll need to do some sleuthing. if you're lucky enough to find something like the title in the xml to edit and you then want to change the way that title is displayed you can use movie explorer to search for the xml file name. when you find that, you'll find the code that parses the xml file. you should then be able to find the variable name that stores the title. you can then use movie explorer to search for that variable and, if you're lucky, you'll only need to edit the textfield(s) that have their text property assigned to that variable.

Go to messages >> communication method , change the field Cover Page Text with ur po number and send. This is a manual process which you will have to do it for each po.
Now if you want to automate this then you can ask ur abaper to write a small program which will copy the po number to this field.

There's no way to customize the URL. It's what iPhoto and the .Mac servers give it. If you select a web gallery in iPHoto and click on the Tell a Friend button at the bottom iPhoto will create an HTML based email that you can send and all the reader has to do is click on the links provided.

I have a custom page, where i need to edit the existing Data. I have initialized my EOVO in PR. There is also a Lov which is used to search the existing data. Then i edit the field and Save it. Everything works fine and the existing row is being updated. But there creates a new row also with only one field is being populated which is the attribute which i have set on my LOV.
how can i stop this new row from being created.

You'll need to be a bit more specific about what you mean by "edit".
If you want to edit the actual .nib file (the archive which describes the window), it's at
/System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Ab outThisMac.nib
Nib files can normally be edited by using the Interface Builder application that's part of the Xcode developer tools.
However, since you're on an Intel-based Mac, you won't be able to edit the nib unless you first find a version from a Power PC Mac. The reason for this is that .nib files aren't actually a file, but a package that includes different parts inside the primary folder. For example, if you Control-click on the AboutThisMac.nib mentioned above, and choose Show Package Contents, a new Finder window will open which shows a single item "keyedobjects.nib". That is an actual file which holds the archived user interface objects (using key/value coding/archiving, hence the "keyed" in the name). To be able to open and edit a .nib file in Interface Builder, however, you need two additional files inside named "classes.nib" and "info.nib". These provide Interface Builder with the information necessary to properly open the nib. By removing those two files from the nib, a developer can essentially make the nib "read-only", meaning it will work fine when the application it's a part of needs to use it, but an end-user (or their competition) cannot open the nib file in Interface Builder to see how the objects were constructed. Most nibs that are part of an OS X install on PowerPC-based Macs include the necessary files and can be opened in Interface Builder. Most of the nibs included with Intel-based Macs, on the other hand, do not include those files and can't be opened in Interface Builder without first copying the "classes.nib" and "info.nib" files from a PowerPC-based Mac's nib to the Intel version of the nib.

By edit you mean changes the cells of the excel file?
For this you have to download the file to the client, let him make the changes and upload it again.
You may want to look into Desktop integration
Or if you want to change it in java you can use POI to change the file. However you first have to get it out of the blog, change it and put it back into the blob.
