I need to enter my serial number after trial expired

I have a serial number but I don't know where to enter it to keep my subscription running

You don't.
The subscription model requires that you install Lr from the CC Desktop App: this doesn't need a serial number.
The stand-alone does - and it's likely that you're running the stand-alone version of Lr.
You need to uninstall this version, and install again from the Desktop app (you won't lose anything by doing so) at which point you'll be good.

  • Logic asks for my serial number every time I reboot the computer.  Anyone know what gives?  I restored the program after a hard drive crash and now I need to enter the serial number every time.  Why doesn't it remember the code?

    After a computer crash I had to reinstall the whole system using Migration Assistant.  The User ID is NOT the same as the original computer.  And now every time I reboot the computer and load Logic the program asks me to enter my Serial Number with a "Licensing" window. Why can't the copy protection see that I have already done this?  Am I missing some Pref file, or is it in the wrong location?  The program works fine once I enter in the number and insert my Logic XSKey (from an older update).  Thanks.

    Do you run automap 4.8/4.9? If so, then the chance is that automap is the culprit for slow undos/redos on LPX 10.1. Delete the Novation controller in the LPX controller surfaces. You find it under preferences/controller surfaces. If that is the solution for you, then uninstall automap. You find the uninstaller under applications-automap.

    I'm experiencing a similiar problem. After downloading and installing from the manager, the program opens up as a trial version, which then asks for me to put in a serial number. I was under the believe that Creative Cloud needs no serial number. After attempting to get help from Tech Support via the chat, both representatives gave me roundabout answers, including one that said something about "24 hour activiation"? This is very frustrating. Along with work, I'm beginning to feel that I lost money behind this.

    So, a little while ago, I downloaded the Photoshop cs6 free trial. I played around with it, and eventually, yes, it expired. It was only a few hours ago did I decide to actually buy the product. Now that the trial has expired, I am not entirely sure how to enter the needed serial number, as on Creative Cloud, all it says is "Trial Expired".
    What exactly to do...?

    I bought the PS CS5 Student/Teacher edition in 2011. I loaded it to my macbook at the time. I just purchased a new macbook yesterday and am trying to install it on the new computer. I have downloaded it and now need to enter the serial number. I do not have this. After a very long chat with Adobe they can not find this product under any email I have ever had. They say that since they can't find the email ID they can't give me the serial number. I have the original box with product code and I have the program on the old computer still.     You probably only have one license, before you can enter the serial number on your new mac, first you have to deactivate Photoshop on your old mac (For help on that go to Activation & Deactivation Help). Also to determine what email your AdobeID was registered under would be to go to the create an account page, and enter all of your prior email addresses, when it says 'email already taken', you know that is your email. You can also change your password if you don't know that either by asking to send a verification code to your email address.

    In most cases, what you said is true...however, this is not always the case.  Take myself for example...
    1: I posted my phone online to sell
    2: Someone saw my serial number and called AppleCare to get a replacement phone
    3: An inferior AppleCare representative bypassed a component validation (check serial number to the device on hand) and approved the replacement under my AppleCare plan.
    4:  After noticing this (about 4 days after it happened) and  a trip to Apple and a call to AppleCare, all was resolved.  My phone is back to being covered under AppleCare+
    5:  I learned my lesson.
    So, as you can see, there is a chance that it can be something else.  Although, if the person selling the phone notices, it shouldn't take long to resolve it. Chances are that it is what you said.

    I had purchased an iPhone 5 last month and got the OS updated to iOS 7, yesterday.
    The data cable was of very bad quality and when I took it to the retailer for replacement, they said that its not covered under the one year warranty.
    Secondly, I have also been experiencing network coverage issues with this phone. So, I decided to contact apple care through the web. When entering my serial number/IMEI it says, "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us."
    Does anybody have any idea what the reason behind this could be.

    If you purchased the iPhone from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller,
    contact them for assistance. If you purchased elsewhere, go back
    to that retailer and get them to give you a new iPhone or your money
    back.
    If you have checked the serial number carefully and re-entered it
    and that gave you the same error message, contact Apple if purchased
    from Apple or authorized retailer; otherwise you have been scammed
    and need to pursue the matter with the business you obtained the
    iPhone from.
