I need to find out my serial number for my ipod in my itunes account
how do i find my serial number for my ipod in my itunes account. my ipod was stolen and then brought back to me but until i find out if its def.. i didnt want to plug my ipod into my computer. when i go to itunes and manage my devices my ipod is there but all it say is remove or save i cant get the number! does anyone know how i can do this
- Log into your support profile and if you iPod is list the SN will also be listed.
My Support Profile
- Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and hover the mouse pointer of the iPod backup and the SN will poop up.

How can I find out the serial number for my FCE 4.0 that came with my old MacBook Pro?
When I try and open my old FCE projects on my new MacBook Pro, a dialog box pops up and asks me to input the serial number for my Final Cut Express program. The software came pre-loaded on my old MacBook Pro which died. Luckily, my local Apple store was able to transfer the fcp files to my new MacBook Pro, which came with FCP X installed. I just can't open those files without the serial number of the FCE 4.0 program.
Message was edited by: Garyb1978It is almost impossible to transfer FCE as there are so many essential hidden files that workers in an Apple Store will know nothing about. The app needs to be installed from the original DVD.
Other than buying another copy your only chance (very remote) is to contact the Apple Store and see if they are able to get a replacement number from Apple. -

One of our staff has left the company and I want to transfer the license over to another computer. I have called Adobe Support and they kept on asking for the registered email address which I do not know. Phone support has referred me to this forum. I don't think ,there is any report which can help to get the serial no of AP.
Inventory( Report >Report Launch Pad> Inventory) is the ONLY report which gave the below information but NOT the serial no .

This report allows you to generate inventory-related information for controllers, access points, and MSEs managed by Prime Infrastructure. This information includes hardware type and distribution, software distribution, CDP information, and other statistics.

Usually the serial number was placed at the bottom of the unit.
There is a label which collects all these useful informations.
You have certainly received many documents with you notebook; i.e. warranty.
Check it and maybe you will find the serial number somewhere in the list
