Dear brothers,
I need to learn how I can reset my ENVY m6 dx1105 to the factory setting which make it include Win8 with all original softwares and drivers.
I faced a major problem which made me be compelled to format the system and install new Win8.1
You know , I lost hp logo when the laptop startup.
There are some problems with some softwares like Cyberlink PhotoDirector Software which refused to be install becasue my laptop is not authorized machine !
I need to get factory setting like I bought the laptop before year ago !

Recovery disks are specific & consistent with the model you're using. It can only be ordered from the country/place you bought the laptop from.

Need help getting Skype set up.

Can someone please from Skype - contact me, I am having the worst experience with setting this up . I am working from home and need to be able to make calls all over the country and will need several phone numbers. Customer service is non existant and the support on this site is horredous.
Nothing is working - voice mail is set up but when I call from different #'s skype hangs up the call. No where is their support or a toll free # to sw a live person. Emails back do not address any issues.
Is anyone having issues with this site?
Is their a live person that represents Skype or is all computers?

I can't install more original drives & software so I prefer reset the notebook and restore the original windows 8 with all original programs.

Sorry to know that you have problem.
HP supports its unit even it's out of warranty, if it's still within the service life.
Please provide your unit Serial Number and contact HP service center, and HP Call agent will help you to order the right recovery media with a reasonable charge.

What is the factory set restriction passcode? I need to erase all content and settings on my handset as I have just upgraded to 4S and need to wipe my old handset off all content. It keeps asking for a passcode even though I never set one. Thanks

There is no factory set restriction code. If you need to completely reset then follow the instructions you find here:

I had to take my hp back to factory setting and reinstall itunes, when I tried to use Itunes match it said i had to Deauthorize all my computers. I am using the same computer and desperately need access to my music.

When you reset to factory settings, the computer is de-authorised.
In iTunes menu Store > View Account > sign in > App Store > Deauthorise All.
Once done, authorise this computer iTunes.
Note: you can only do that once a year.

I cant restore my HP G62 notebook PC to factory setting as i get the message boot manager missing

I having trouble when i try to restore my laptop to factory setting, it tells me the Bootmanager is missing, this also happens with system restore.
It very slow, and restoring it to factory worked once upon a time, and my laptop was great after that.
I dont use it now as my main laptop, i have an Asus Transformer with windows 8.1, but its having its health check so im stuck with out it.
I rememberd my HP laptop, but forgot about its problem untill i started using it, and i still cant restore it to factory and still get "bootmanager " missing.
Please help, im disabled and rely on my laptop for shopping etc.

I am trying to stop using my I-pod under my husband's I-Tune account. It was set up under his account and the only way I can use it under my account is to erase all of the songs my husband loaded on for me. If it is still under warranty you can call the 800 number to apple and enter the serial number and it will tell you if it is under warranty or not if not its like $30 basically for them to help or something like that it said today when i called...
Or take it to a genius bar if you have one near?

Resetting an iPhone to factory settigns isn't an issue, you can easily do that by connecting it to iTunes and hitting the "Restore" button. If the iPhone is currently locked to the UK carrier Three, you won't be able to use it with a SIM card from any other carrier without getting the UK carrier to authorize an unlock. I believe that the UK carriers all offer this to their customers but it might cost you a fee. If you are not a customer of Three, you might have more problems getting an unlock form them though.

Why do we need get and set methods?

It is considered good design practice to keep all class data private and
provide get and set methods for accessing the data in a controlled
manner.
So, instead of directly accessing the class data, you use getter and setters.
I do not really feel the need to use get and set methods.
How does that achieve encapsulation when ultimately the class data is being exposed?

A couple of reasons why to use get and set:
1. For example you can set an int value for month, if a user sets this to somting
higher than 12 (or 11 if it's zero based) you want to handle that by either
throwing an exception or adding a year for every time it can be devided by 12.
If you dont do it in set you'll have a whole bunch of methods that might need to
correct the value before retreiving the eventual date.
2. If for some reason you have security set up for certain values you can
implement this in the get method. When this is done somewhere else you have
a whole bunch of methods retreiving the info in other classes that need to check
first. (a canGet method could allso be used). Another good reason to use get
is when the information needs to be converted depending on the consumer
calling the get method.
3. If any logic in 1 or 2 changes you'll have a bunch of code to change.
If you feel there is no need to implement any security, error handling (on
compiling because get and set might throw something) or validation when
setting/getting these values there is still the argument of readabillity.
Eclipse has a feature that will generate getters and setters for you so it's not
like there is a lot of extra typing involved.

Use Internet Recovery. You shouldn't need an AppleID. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718
Internet Recovery will install the OS that shipped with the Mac. You can then upgrade to Mavericks if that was not it.
Do you have an App Store account? Did you ever use it to install the OS?

Senior lady needs help getting cordless phones set...

Hello Everyone,
I have been successful making calls on Skype but I need to get my cordless phones set up with my home number on Skype. I purchased a Linksys Internet Phone Adapter and it shows it is getting power. But there is no light for Phone# 1 where I have the phone cord hooked up.
This is the way I have it hooked up:
A/C power to back of adapter
Regular phone line wire in Phone#1 from adapter to my cordless base unit
Internet cable wire from adapter to my internet router
The CD had no instant setup instructions on it or how to get the drivers off. I found the model number but couldn't figure out how to get the required info in to my computer.
Can somebody walk me through how to set this up? I'm an 80 yr old lady and all these PDF files looks like it would take somebody with an engineering degree to figure them out. Do you remember that old commercial....."Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" Well.....that's sorta me.

The PAP2T is not compatible with Skype's standard service. It is only compatible with SIP providers and is usually more difficult to configure as well. Skype does support SIP in a business environment with additional hardware at a greater expense, unfortunately that solution really won't work for you. The only standalone device that I'm aware of that is still compatible with Skype is the Freetalk Connect Me (Talk-12xx). It is similar to the device you have but it is designed to work solely with Skype's standard service.
