I need to get sound events from sounds embedded in a MovieClip
I'm working on a SoundManager class for a game development
platform. Unfortunately, I can't leverage the Sound class because
the requirements are that the sounds for an application would be
embedded in individual MovieClip objects and set to stream as the
clip plays.
The idea is that this would allow third-party developers to
make simple edits to the sounds by using the envelope controls for
the embedded sounds. I can manually fire an event when the sound
finishes by calling a custom method in the last frame of the movie
clip, however, this is not completely accurate and it makes it
impossible to seamlessly loop sounds.
Now, the Flash player must be aware that the sound has
finished playing. I presume that sounds embedded in the IDE are
handled by the Sound class in some way. Is there any way at all
that I can expose an event when the embedded sound finishes
playing?
I'd really prefer to use another approach, and just attach
sound files from a Library or from external files, but I don't have
a choice in this particular case. This is the way the application
has to work.
I will probably have to give up on the precision I want in
order to complete this job on time, but I refuse to believe that
what I'm trying to do is impossible. I would appreciate any help
anyone can give me.

To put a monitor to the events occuring in the GHUI u need to register required components with the appropriate EventListeners.
Liek if u want to get notified when a mouse is clicked, then u need to add The MouseListener to the component which u want to be monitored.
Say
myFrame which is the JFrame object which shuld be monitored for the events.
Then in ur program u have to add following code
myFrame.addMouseListener( someObectReference );
Here the someObjectReference should be an instance to a concrete class ..i.e. U write a class like the following

If u dont want to use another class for listening to the events. Then u can make teh current class monitor the events. To do so ur class should implement the appropriate listener and should override the required methods.

Thank you.I guess you want only a single frame to be shown for a desired duration on your timeline. To do so, select the relevant clip and keep the skimmer or playhead on the exact frame you want and then press shift-H. That frame will be put on hold and as a default you will have that frame for 2 seconds on the timeline. You can retime this 'held clip'... extend or shorten it by clicking and dragging the 'held clip' by placing your cursor upon the handles located at the right end of the retimer 'brown in coloc] bar which appears atop the 'sub-clip'.

Need help getting a value from an XML column

I have a new ipad mini that I need to activate but I need to get the data from my old ipad 1 and install on the new mini. I have a itunes acct and also icloud acct. How do I back up the ipad 1 data and then activate the mini. I assume I will need to transfer the sim from the ipad 1 to the mini.

ThanksYou don't have it unless you have downloaded and installed it either manually or via Software Update.
The update should be installed to protect you from possible malware exploits via Java. However, if you don't use Java programming or run Java applets in your browser, then you do not need the update. But you must turn Java off in your browser's security preferences (it will be a checkbox.) -
I just upgraded to a new mac running 10.6.4. I took the HD from the older Mac and put it in the new mac in an empty bay to have access to all the previous data and programs and use as a back up HD.

How to get all events from calendar using calcalendar store framework.
Hello,
I have two problems with calcalendar store framework programming.
1. I need all the event which are present in iCal calendar.Event may be present in year 2025 or 2050. and if the event is recurring then i need only one event.
2. if the event is recurring then i need only one event within the calendar event predicates (start date and end date). I am not suppose to give the occurrence date for event.
How can I implement this with CalCalendar store framework.

Per my knowledge, there is not a method to get all the recurring events using CAML query in one request.

Friend deleted app (my disk for iphone) and need to get back data from my icloud backup...need help!
I had this app called my disk (app store name is: Lock photo+video safe - secure folder manager to protect private photos vault & hide secret picture file privacy) This app lets me have two passwords with different pictures and videos in each of them. It's a really great app.
My friend deleted the app by "accident" and I need to get the app back with all my data. I have a backup of the app on my icloud backup that was taken place two months ago (around same time the app was deleted). It shows up in the cloud saying I have 4gb worth of that app in the cloud. I restore my phone back to that backup but the app data is not there. I wasn't sure if I had to wait till my iphone backs up everything (like music and pictures for example) for it to show up but as soon as the app downloaded I opened it hapilly knowing I have my data back but unfortunately it was not there. In the app itself, there's an option to backup from the cloud but it just brings up this window that says you can back up from the cloud (doesn't have a place to hit that says restore or anything).
Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? I really need that app data back because I have pictures of memories with friends and family inside that app that I do not have anywhere else. Once i get the back back ill be sure to save the photos onto my computer just incase anything goes wrong again.

It seems that in a case like this you'd need to reset the device to factory settings and then restore from iCloud backup.
Sadly the reset to factory settings could cause more trouble than its worth.
Apple's iCloud backup, could, but does not let the user restore one app or its data.
You'll also find that even though that App's data is in the cloud, you as its owner do not have access to it.

I did so, but after downloading this software, I was told that it needed my MacBook Pro to have Version 10.6.8 or higher to run. My MacBook has Version 10.6.4, and I have no idea what updating it would require. I'd prefer to get my music from iTunes library to my phone without updating. If anyone knows how, please help.

I have an Ipod touch with about 900 songs on it, i used to connect with my old pc until it recently broke. i have just bought a new pc and was wondering how i could get my music from my ipod to my new computer! the only thing i need is music , no videos or anything. does anyone know how i can do this for free? not very good with computers by the way!

- If you have synced photos and some other items you will need a paid program like TouchCopy or PhoneView. They also do music.
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backyp by right clicking on the iPod uder Devices in iTunes and select Backup
- Then restore the iPod from that backup. -

i need to get the list of catalog item from MDM of a specific supplier,
user will give the supplier and i need to bring the list of the catalog item
that belong to the supplier that the user gave me,
through abap.
is anyone can help me with wich class+method do i need to use if i have the supplier name or id?

You can achieve this through MDM Webservices.
1. Create a MDM Webservice
2. Configure the tables and list the list of fields which you want to retrieve
3. You can specify the search criteria as well(supplier=XXX)
4. Generate it and save it
You can deploy the application in your landscape and call this webservice from your custom application to create shopping cart.

Need help with custom event from Main class to an unrelated class.
Hey guys,
I'm new to Flash and not great with OOP. I've made it pretty far with google and lurking, but I've been pulling my hair out on this problem for a day and everything I try throws an error or simply doesn't hit the listener.
I'm trying to get my Main class to send a custom event to an unrelated class called BigIcon. The rest of the code works fine, it's just the addEventListener and dispatchEvent that isn't working.
I've put in the relevant code in below. Let me know if anything else is needed to troubleshoot. Thank you!

Alright, this compiles, gives me no errors, shows my 'book' and 'flowers' icons perfectly when ran, and prints 'addEventListener' to the output window as expected. I get no errors when I press the button, 'dispatchEvent' is output (good), but the 'twitchUp' function is never called and 'EventTriggered' is never output.
How do I get the 'twitchUp' event to trigger?

Help needed to get unique record from an internal table
Hi Everybody,
I have to get unique record from an internal table. i know we can use read statement with key condition .
But the problem is i have to use some relational operators like GE or LE.
eg
read table itab into wa with key width GE itab-widthfrom
width LE itab-widthto
machno eq itab-machno.
Its giving me error when I use the operators GE , LE.( I think since it can't find a unique record with those relational
operators in the with key statement)
Is there any other way to get unique record from internal table without using the loop?
