I need to know how to authorize my computer
I have a Windows 8 computer and need to know how to authorize the computer for Itunes
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

Does anyone know how to authroize my computer in order to play my songs??
Does anyone know how to authorize my computer in order to play my songs??
For songs, this should only happen to songs purchased from the iTunes Store that were purchase more than a few years ago, when the songs had DRM (copy protection). More recent song purchases from the iTunes Store do not have DRM.
To authorize your computer, from the iTunes menu bar, under Store, select Authorize This Computer. When prompted, enter the Apple ID (with password) used to purchase the songs. If your currently used Apple ID is different, one computer can be authorized for more than one Apple ID, so that is not a problem.
Each Apple ID can be authorized with up to five computers (including computers you no longer have but did not deauthorize). If you have reached that limit, please post back. -
I need to know how to authorize or deauthorize a computer when the email address attached to it no longer exists
I can't access the account because your system doesn't recognize the last password -- and it won't let me change the password because it says the birthday information is wrong -- it's not. There is no help item for that either, so somebody PLEASE tell me how to get around this problem. My music is being held hostage.See Here > Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security
Ask to speak with the Account Security Team.. -

My laptop has 1g ram i need to know how much ram this computer will handle, i have a dv6426us
I'm needing to upgrade my RAM I have a total of 1G now, I need to know what this particular laptop will handle. The OS is Vista Home Premium and it takes as much as 2 hrs to reboot sometimes
I have a Pavillion DV6426US Entertainment Wide Screen
Thanks for any help that you can provideHi:
You can install 2 x 2 GB of PC2-5300 memory (total of 4 GB), if you have BIOS version F.25 or newer installed in your notebook.
Maxing out the memory should help the performance, but you should look into removing any unnecessary software and stop any unnecessary programs from running at startup.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6/7, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.
