I'm getting very frustrated trying to simply download iOS 5 so I can download the adobe reader in 10.6 version...please help!!!

    If you bought the boxed set of Logic Studio 2.0  which includes LP9, then you cannot  download it. You must use the disks that came as part of the boxed set... to install from.
    If you bought the App Store version of Logic Pro 9 then go to the Mac App Store App,  Sign into the Store using the same Apple ID you used to purchase LP originally, look under the Purchase Tab and you shouldl find LP9 ready and waiting for you to download and install.

    If you registered your product, you should be able to find the download and serial number from your Adobe account.

    My iPad does not have the automatic software update and I do not know how to get IOS 6 onto it. When I go into settings there is no software update button.

    If you are really on iOS 5 then look in Settings > General > Software update.
    Otherwise:
    If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
    To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

    Dear Apple, I am ticked off. I have bought 3 iPod's within the past four years, and 2 out of the 3 are registered to other people boy was I mad when apple said they couldn't do anything, but at least I could still put music on there.     Launch iTunes and look under the "About iTunes". Where that will be located will depend on what operating system your computer is running. On a Mac, it's under the iTunes menu. On Windows, it's under the Help menu, I believe.

    What device? What generation / model? Downloading iOS 5 will allow you to download iBooks. However, you need a model that can support iOS 5. If you have an older model, you may be able to download an older version of iOS if your model supports it. To see what model you have:
    Go to Settings > General > About > Serial Number.
    Now go to http://support.apple.com/specs/ and enter your serial number in the field.
    The field should look like above.

    Microsoft has not written Internet Exporer for Mac for years but you could try this work around.
    With Safari open, from the menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Select:  Show Develop menu in menu bar
    Back to the menu bar click Develop > User Agent  then select Internet Explorer 10.0
    Then try that website.
    No guarantees that will work.
