I need to know how to sync my iPod to my boyfriends computer so I can put some of his songs on my iPod,and he has iTunes as well. How do I do this?
I just need to know how to sync to my boyfriends computer. He already has iTunes on his computer and I want some songs he had on his actual computer so how do I get iTunes to recognize my iPod without posing music. I need help please!!!
You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you want to make this your syncing computer:

i accidently set up one account for icloud and one for itunes; suggestions on how to correct this and use just one account for both.... thanks
If you want to change your iCloud ID to another existing ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
This will not move your photo stream, however. If you have photos in photo stream that aren't in your camera roll and that you haven't backed up anywhere else you will need to save these before deleting the account. To do this, open your photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. You can then delete the iCloud account and your photos will stay in your camera roll. -

I have a 2nd generation Ipod.
I have it connected to my computer and see (my name) ipod on my screen.
Everytime I try to add a new song to the Ipod, this message comes up and I am not sure what to do:
The Ipod, (my name) is synced with another ITunes library on A74F65. Do you want to erase this Ipod and sync with this ITunes Library?
An Ipod can be synced with only one ITunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this IPod with the contents of this ITunes library.
Then it asks me if I want to delete and sync.
I am not sure what to do for fear of erasing everything I have put on my Ipod.
I would appreciate if someone could help me out.If I understand you correctly, you are trying to use iTunes to play the Music in your iPod but which is not in your itunes library. I don't think Apple design iTunes for use in your way. As to put and play music in iPod, the music has to be in iTunes first, so you play music in the iTunes music Library. the window with Ipod music is just to show you which music are already in the Ipod, in case you want to Manually Manage your huge music library.

My computer crashed with all my itunes files. I was able to get some off and transfer them to another computer. I am afraid to sync my ipod to the new computer becaused I do not want to loose all of my playlists and other music. Will this happen?
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them. -

The songs on my iPod Video 5th Gen now, were at one time on my computer, but have since been erased. Why can't I export the songs from my iPod back on to my computer?
