I need to locate the download to Thunderbird 24.7.0/

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. My PC has failed, although I have rescued the Hard Drive. The PC was, I think using Thunderbird 24.7.0/. (My son who is IT literate and savvy has helped but the problem we have appears beyond his expertise, and I am 71 years of age).
Until I buy a replacement Desktop PC, I am using the Dell Notebook. This Computer had already updated to Thunderbird 31. (It was used by my wife).
Despite copying all the Thunderbird folder over from the old Hard Drive; we could not migrate all the folders, files, accounts. At one stage we managed to get the Calendar and Addresses. I am hopeful if we try and install the earlier version of Thunderbird everything might work.
However I cannot get a download for the earlier version. I have removed Thunderbird 31.0 from this temporary replacement machine. If any kind soul has a solution (in simple terms) I would really appreciate it. I know we have the folders and everything - it is just getting it up and working with Thunderbird.
I can access Thunderbird on a small Netbook.

However while the 24.7.0 was released when TB and Fx 31.0 did, the old 24 will only get one or two more security/stability updates.

You can try manually downloading them:
1. Open iTunes and click on "Store"
2. Click "Purchased" in the top-right
3. Find the Album you need to compete and click the cloud next to it.

EdWeidman by default the download will be saved to your Download folder. I do not know the exact name of the file which was provided to you.

In your situation I strongly recommend you read over that KB article. The international iTunes Stores are not cross-compatible.
My understanding of how it would work is that when activating iTunes Match on your US Store account, any songs you have in your iTunes Library that were purchased from the AUS Store account will NOT be matched. As I understand it, those files will be uploaded (which means you need the files on a local HDD). I also do not think it is possible to have iTunes Match active on more than one store ID on the same computer. But since iTunes Match is not available internationally yet, that point is moot for the moment.
To be honest you might want to wait until the service is available internationally so you can guage how will it will serve you.

Previous purchases can be located in the Purchased section of either your iOS device or in iTunes on a computer. The purchases will be available to re-download as long as they are still available in the App Store and you are using the same Apple ID. Please use the attached article as a reference.

Unfortunatly the 7.x series of camera raw plugin is not compatible with photoshop cs5.
You could download the 7.4 DNG Converter and convert your d600 files to dng copies which then photoshop cs5 will open.

The downloaded file is probably stored at C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. In general it is probably best to "download and install" updates than download and then install later. Note that you cannot revert to the older firmware if you don't like the update, even if you have the old .ipsw files.

Apple does not offer old versions of iOS. Only the most recent version, iOS 5 is available through iTunes.

After you have downloaded the file connect your iPad to your computer and open the iTunes app on the computer. Select your iPad in the Devices list and right click over the Update button. Browse to where the file has been downloaded to your computer and select it. Hopefully iTunes can verify this upgrade for your iPad and install it for you.

Do I need to keep the downloads on my desktop

After downloading new software from the web as Adobe Flash Player it leaves an icon on my desktop. DO I have to leave it there or can I put it into the trash. Will I loose the downloaded software if I do?

If you've installed the software you can move the icon to the trash.
Note if the icon looks like a disk that is referring to the mounted DMG file the software was packaged in. Moving it to the trash will only unmount it and remove it from the Desktop. To delete the file you will need to locate it (usually in Downloads) and delete the file you see there.

If you can find the downloads window (Keyboard shortcut Ctlr+Shift+Y in Linux) right clicking on the file entry should give an option to open the folder it is in.
If the option is greyed out it was probably only put in a temporary location and may have been deleted. You could try searching by name and date & size.

Note you could have looked at the prefs to try to figure out the location that would have been used, but not once you have reset it.

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Doesn't sound like your restored from your backup, otherwise pics in your camera roll would've transfer over.
Take a look at the link and double check you did the correct steps.

The action menu can be restored by, in the Finder, selecting under View menu "Customize Toolbar ...". There you will see options to put the action menu (wheel) back on your toolbar.
