It would help if you would tell us which version. If it's PSE 12, just install the trial and enter your serial number into that.

I need to sync my iphone to a new laptop

I need to sync my iphone to a new laptop as i don't have the previous laptop anymore.
However i dont want to loose the contacts, photos, apps or tones from my iphone.
Is this possible?

Need to put old version CS4 on new laptop without CD drive

I have the CS4 and I need to download onto new laptop without a CD drive. Any advice?
I tried to migrate the software but it will not open. I got an error message and Adobe chat was not able to help.

There are a few options that you can do. If your old computer sill works but iTunes just does not open, you can try and copy the iTunes folder to an external hard drive and then add that information on to your new computer by either putting it into the same place as it was on the old computer or just adding the media into iTunes. If the media was purchased from the iTunes Store, you can import those in by following the step in the last article or you can go to the iTunes Store and look at your purchases and download them directly from there.

Need help opening a file in a new window

I'm creating an interactive PDF in InDesign CS5.5.
This PDF contains buttons I've made that link to other, separate, PDF files using the open file method.
This is all working fine - trouble is, when I click the button to open the second PDF file, the first PDF automatically closes.
Is there any way to make the second PDF open in a new window, keeping the first PDF open?
This is something that every user must be able to do, so using preference --> Open cross-doc links in same window will not work.
Is there a JavaScript code to use?

You can set up a link to behave as you want, ignoring whatever the user preference is set to, but I don't know if you can configure such a link in InDesign.
In Acrobat, you can edit the link action (assuming it's a "Go to a page view / Go to a page in another document" type) and select "New Window" in the "Open in" drop down:

Need to reinstall InDesign CS4 upgrade on new laptop after laptop where loaded crashed. No longer have serial number for prg from which upgrading.

I have a copy of InDesign CS4 which is an upgrade from PageMaker. The computer on which it was installed totally crashed & nothing on it is available to me anymore. Hi,
The upgrade installer tries to detect the qualifying older version in order to continue with installation. In case it cannot detect the previous version, you can use the serial number of the CS4 suite and installation should continue without any problem.

Which graphics card is needed for CS3 to run on a new laptop?

Hi - I'm shopping for a new laptop and would like to install my CS3 software onto it. At the moment I've decided on a customized HP 8570P with these specifications:
1600x900 display
700 GB disk drive
2 main memory slots with one 8 MB SIMM for now with the option to increase to 16MB in the future.
My question is: should I go with the Intel HD Graphics 4000 card or the AMD Radeon HD 7570M? I plan to upgrade to CS6 in about 6 months but would really like to get CS3 up and running on the new laptop before then. The programs I use most are illustrator and photoshop. Thanks in advance for your help

I agree with Chris.
While Intel makes good chips, their video driver support has been historically weak. Now, with greater concentration on the graphics chips, things might improve. However, until there are many reports of such support, I would stay away from embedded Intel graphics chips personally.
ATI/AMD and nVidia do a very good job, with new drivers almost every month for current OS's and cards.
