I need to re-add a folder to iTunes after I deleted it.

I deleted the folder as I had a problem with how I imported it the first time. Then I deleted the information of those songs from iTunes and my cloud sync. Now I want to add that folder back in again but iTunes doesn't seem to want to re-add it. What do I need to do?

Constantly Needing to re-add my computer to itunes match?

Recently, my main computer seems to be disconnecting from the itunes match service every time I close itunes and re open it. the cloud icon gets the lightningbolt on it.
this is the computer connected to my library, which is on a network drive - always accessible. If I click on "update itunes match" when the lightning bolt is on the cloud icon, it says "sign out of itunes and sign back in"
When I do that, the cloud icon is missing and I have to re-add my computer to itunes match. i have done this at least 6 times - it never seems to stay connected after restarting itunes.
So frustrating! Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having that same problem this morning.
But before that, what fixed it for me was getting rid of ALL of my playlists. Apparently there was something in one of my playlists (smart or otherwise) that was making iTunes Match choke. It's definitely a bug in iTunes Match.
So try ditching all your playlists, and re-setting up iTunes Match, see if you still have the problem.
But like I said, I'm having the problem again, but I'm guessing it has to do with work for the iPad3 launch or something. Hopefully :-/

Having to re-add Music folder to iTunes everytime

Everytime I open iTunes on my somewhat new Sony laptop, I have to use "Add Folder to Library" to re-add my Music folder. For whatever reason, my iTunes library is empty otherwise upon turning on my laptop. I lose all my playlists and play counts from the previous session.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Is there a way I can deauthorize all computers and then reauthorize each one (it says I authorized 4 out of 5, even though I only have two. It's because I reformatted this computer twice and forgot to deauthorize.)
I know theres a "deauthorize all" button when your authorize limit (5) is up, but is there a way to deauthorize all of the computers when there is less than 5? (I can't do Deauthorize Computer, because it thinks im authorizing 4 computers when I actually have 2)

Add music folder to iTunes library without copying

I have an itunes music folder with songs and movies. I want to create a new library using those files. How do i add them without copying them to the new library? When i do the"add to library" it starts copying the flies causing an error because there's not enough disk space.

Need to re-add Bluetooth keyboard every time after wake up?

Every time I wake my MacBook Pro up from sleep, my Bluetooth keyboard does not work; I have to re-add it via the Bluetooth preference pane to be able to use it again. This started happening a few days ago—I've had my keyboard for about a year. Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?

I trashed the file and then after a few days had the same problems. Also, my keyboard's battery level appears to be fine. I only started having this problem over the last few weeks; I've had my Bluetooth keyboard for about a year.

Can no longer add music files to itunes after 10.4 update

For over 7 years i have used frostwire to download and save music into a m3u file on my computer. Then i would go to itunes and add file to library locate my file i would call my music and add it. Never have i had a problem however after the 10.4 update nothing is showing up in my library when i try to add file. Please help is there going to be an update to fix this or is there something i can do to fix it?

I had the the same problem albeit with an m4v (same hardware and OS rev too!, iTunes 10.6.3). I was able to add the movie to a new library per Limnos' suggestion here, indicating that iTunes wasn't totally busted. However, I was also able to see the movie in the Recently Added smart playlist (another hat tip to Limnos), although it still did not appear in the Movies section of my iTunes library. (It was also in the iTunes Library.xml file.)
So I called AppleCare, and they directed me to move the file from the external drive where it was living, into the /Users/<Your Name Here>/Movies directory, and to "Add to Library" (Command-O) from that location. Sure enough (and much to my surprise), it showed up immediately (duplicated, actually) in the Movies section of my iTunes library. Subsequent additions to my Library have not misbehaved similiarly.

How do I, Add a folder to BIS Email account

I use a cpanel email account (IMAP4) on my blackberry apart form my gmail account,
Now i already know from http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05133 that it isnt possible for my blackberry device to automatically sync the sent items folder, but what I want to know is that is there any way to add to the list of folders that are currently being synced to the blackberry? (By default it only syncs Inbox and Spam) I want to add another folder say 'work' which does not go to my inbox, and hence does not come to the phone.
Also, I am using dovecot as my imap server so my folders are not children of my 'INBOX' folder!

I don't know Dovecot, but it sounds like you're going to need to first have that email you define as "work" email directed to that "work" folder on your server. The thought being that the RIM server looks at your Inbox for new mail messages to push to the BlackBerry handheld. If the email is first directed away from that Inbox, then it shouldn't get pushed.
In short, that's going to be a function of your server, not the BlackBerry, unless I am missing something you are asking.

Bnoir i need your help! Folder path itunes.resources invalid character

Hey all,
I am trying to update a previous install of itunes, and get an error (with no error number) that says: "The folder path Itunes.resources contains an invalid character" followed by another popup error: "Problem with shortcut: fatal error during installation". I get the same error when trying to remove itunes in the control panel add/remove utility. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

"Invalid character" messages usually seem to indicate that some of your registry entries are pointing to a different disk location than the files/folders referenced in the message are actually on.
I've got a link to specific instructions for these messages when they reference the "My Pictures" directory. However, rather than initially trying to adapt those to the itunes.resources case, let's see if we can instead get past this using the Windows Installer CleanUp utility.
let's try the following procedure.
First, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. If it goes, good. If it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to iTunes.
Next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility:

Now launch Windows Installer CleanUp ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"), find any iTunes and/or QuickTime entries in the list of programs in CleanUp, select those entries, and click “remove”.
Next, we'll manually remove any leftover iTunes or QuickTime program files:
(1) Open Local Disk (C:) in Computer or whichever disk programs are installed on.
(2) Open the Program Files folder.
(3) Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.
(4) Right-click the QuickTime folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. (Note: This folder may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(5) Delete the QuickTime and QuicktimeVR files located in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue. (Note: These files may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(6) Right-click on the Recycle Bin and on the shortcut menu, click Empty Recycle Bin.
(7) Restart your computer.
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly now?
