I need to re-download CS5

I purchased CS5 a few years ago, and I have my serial number. Now I have a new computer with no disk drive and I need to re-download the programs.
I found previous questions regarding downloading CS5 programs onto a new computer, but when I click the links in the answer, I only see CS6 downloads.
Where can I download the CS5 versions?

That's because you must follow Steps 0 to 6 of the Very Important Instructions prior to clicking those links otherwise the relevant cookies will not be set. Those often overlooked steps are mentioned in every post for previous version downloads.
If you do not follow steps 0 to 6 then the links to the previous versions will not work for you. You'll simply be redirected by the Adobe server to the current version (CS6) downloads.

Follow steps 0 to 6. Then click the links.

I followed the 7 steps, downloaded all components with the exception of Illustrator. That will not install no matter what I do using this method.

I need to download CS5 Design Premium, have serial number but lost disc

Awhile ago I purchased the CS5 Design Premium but have recently moved and can't find the discs. I assume they are either still packed up somewhere or got lost during the move. I got a new computer as well and need to be able to download it. I still have my serial number. Is there a download link you can possibly send me? Thanks.

Need to re-download Flash CS5.5 Pro

I have a Flash CS5.5 Pro License and a new computer at work - the old computer has been wiped - I therefore I need to re-download and reinstall Flash 5.5 on my new Win 7 pc. I am an occasional Flash user only these days and am not going to cough for an upgrade, and definitely not interested in the Cloud service. I have called a number of Adobe help lines already, and was eventually referred here, being assured that my problem would be resolved, so please can someone solve this one for me here.

If you never deactivated the installation on the old machine you should contact Adobe support thru chat and ask them to reset your acrivations. That way you will still be able to install and activate on two machines if you ever need a backup.

If you registered CS4 then you might be able to find the serial number for it in your Adobe account online. If not, you still might be able to get someone in chat to assist you with getting it.

Download of Adobe Pro says I need to first download Akamai Netsession. I tried, but the download failed. How do I overcome this and download Adobe Pro?

I followed the directions in the email I received for how to download the Adobe Pro I purchased. I clicked the Download and another screen appeared telling me I needed to first download Akamai NetSession. I attempted to download the Akamai program; however, the download failed. How do I overcome this obstacle and get Adobe Pro downloaded to my computer?

Problems downloading CS5 on new laptop

After buying a new laptop, an Apple support person helped me migrate all files from old MacBook Pro including CS5. However, these Adobe files are corrupted and when trying to open Photoshop, I got this message: “Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application”. In order to download onto my new MacBook Pro, I contacted Adobe support to get my details changed from Canada (where I was when I bought it) to the UK, and I have just spent several hours downloading CS5 onto my laptop. However, the old CS5 has not been replaced, and I cannot find where the new version has been stored. What should I do? Do I need to uninstall corrupted CS5 and download again?

Adobe products have to be installed, not migrated/transfered, primarily due to being them associated with the machine during installation. If you migrate them you lose that association.
What you should probably try doing is to first use the Creative Suite Cleaner tool to remove CS5 from the machine, and then install CS5 again.
