I'm trying to reactivate my membership but the reseller is not completing my order because of an internal error. So, now, my freelance is late because of a **** of a reseller problem and you guys don't offer me a chat, or a e-mail to contact. Plus, when I call the support, there's a robot saying to search for help on the website. Thanks for that, but I need help, not problems!

Help please! I downloaded mavericks but the install failed. The message stated there was an error with the disk which required repairing. Using disk utility repair disk is not available ( greyed out) and verify disk stops and says disc requires repairing. So the online support page suggests I erase the disc and reinstall then back up from time machine ( I have a recent backup). But when I try to erase the Macintosh HD I get the message volume erase failed with the error couldn't unmount disk.
I'd be very grateful for any help anyone can give me.

many many thanks for your hep guys !!Whenever you install a new version of OS X being installed, the disk is checked just as if you were using Disk Utility checks the disk to see if the disk is damaged. And,, from what you report, your disk is damaged and needs to be replaced. This isn't a fault with Mavericks - your disk may have been failing for years.
It's a very good thing that you've a recent backup as you're going to need it. I would suggest that you evaluate what functionality that you need in a new disk and go shopping at OWC for a new drive - HGST (or any Hitachi), Seagate SSHDs or Toshiba drives are all good. Be sure that you buy an enclosure for the 'new' drive so that you can format it using Disk Utility before installing it into your machine - you can get one of those from OWC as well.

As in the question, everything works fine, but there is a lag with the mouse pointer, latency issue. I have seen on other forums this has been an issue, but with different solutions, and some with no solutions. Matrox technical team have no solutions for me unfortunately, so any similar user experiences would be good.

am unable to burn any info-photo ect on to a disk. I have a 27" I mac mid 2010 version. I put in a disk, hit burn, it runs for about 3 mins and ejects the disk sayiny there was an error with the drive and will not restart.
The optical drive has probably failed. It's a fairly common thing with these slim SuperDrives. Does it read any discs you put into it? You can try resetting the SMC and pram but I'll be surprised if it helps.
To reset the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on
Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys. -
I just tried to install Photoshop 4.0 to my iMac (version 10.9.3) and I was informed that there was an error with the software. I could not install it. Where do I go from here?
Photoshop 4.0 is not compatible with MAC 10.9.3 . You will face issues as when Photoshop 4.0 was launched there was no MAC Mavericks and Adobe has not tested the version on new MAC OS.
If you want you can download the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014 and you can use it as a trial for 30 days and you can plan to switch to the latest version.

My iPhone was working fine yesterday and then showed a grey screen with the message 'ios6'. When I tried to use the phone it came up with the error message 'connect to iTunes'. When I got home from work I did this, at first iTunes could not detect the device and then it suggested a system restore. Once the restore had completed I selected the language, country/region and then came back to the same error message 'connect to iTunes'. When I tried to connect the device iTunes could not detect it and stated that there was a problem with the device.
I have telephoned my network provider to request a replacement device on my insurance but they have said they cannot authorise until I have had the fault diagnosed my Apple. Only problem is there are no genius appointments free until Friday!
Any help would be massively appreciated!We're not Apple. Se can not magically make a genius appointment available for you.

When I try to print using my HP Officejet Pro 6835 I get the message "There is a problem with the print head"This printer has barely been used. It worked fine the first 5-15 times it was used. I have gone to HP support page and none of the suggestions works. The printer was new Jan. 30, 2015 and has printed less than 20 copies. The screen indicates turn on and off. Have tried that on numerous occasions. Also tried unplugging and plugging in again. Recently added new ink using HP ink cartridge.

I need to connnect to my xbox 360 but there is something up with the MTU settings
everytime i test the connection it asks me to change my MTU settings. i have an actiontec:GT704WGB
i have issues hosting i get a message referring to NAT. i'm not familitary with the MTU settings. can you take a pic or elaborate? i've gone through the testing connection it gets to the internet and comes up with an error. it says it'll connect but it's not at the optimal connection.

Attached image shows the error message which i receive when I try to run my vi. "vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed"
The vi has no errors as far as I can see and hasn't changed since I ran it a few days ago and it functioned fine. other vi's in the project run without any issue.
Any guidance to find the issue would be greatly appreciated!

1. Try to recompile the VI which is "loaded broken" (ctrl+click on Run arrow). Deploy.
2. Try to recompile this VI and its dependencies (ctrl+shift+click on Run arrow). Deploy.
3. Try to recompile top-level VI and its dependencies. Deploy.
4. Change something in "loaded broken" VI (add some code, like reversing array back and forth, just to make LV recompile it). Deploy.
5. Close the project. Restart RIO. Open project. Deploy.
6. Close LabVIEW. Restart computer. Restart RIO. Open project. Deploy.
7. Take another computer. Deploy from it.
8. Close project. Clear compiled object cache (menu Tools -> Advanced -> Clear compiled object cache...). Open project. Wait until LV will open/recompile it. Deploy.
9. Do as 7, but in the meantime reformat RIO from MAX. Open project. Deploy.
10. Contact NI Support. Send them your project. Make them Deploy it.
The fun starts when you have project which deploys for 30 minutes... Usually I skip straight to step 8 then, and usually it helps. -
About 3 weeks ago, I got pushed into a pool, fully clothed, with my iPod touch in my back pocket. Miraculously, I was able to salvage it (or so I thought) by putting it for a couple of days in a dessicator jar and then recharging it. It seemed all right until a few days ago, when it began having more difficulty being recognized as connected when I hooked it up to my MacBook Pro, my wall charger or my USB port in my car. Last night it was working and I was able to play it in my car and to successfully sync it. I surfed on it for awhile then forgot to plug it in before I went to bed. The battery indicator was in the red when I woke up, so I connected it to my wall charger. When I came back, it was right where it was - no charging, and moving it to a new outlet and changing cables did not help. So, I tried hooking back up to my laptop, same thing. I tried my husband's wall charger; still no connection. I then tried hooking it up to the USB port in my car, but it sees no connection. If it weren't for the fact that it got dunked, I'd assume that the battery needs replaced, but because of that, I fear it might be something more complicated. Does anyone know if there is a way I can test this? I'd hate to go get the battery replaced, only to discover that it still doesn't work.
Thanks!Apple does not replace your battery. Instead it replaces your old iPod with a refurbished one (with a new battery). When they see your iPod, the can tell that it had been in the water and will probably offer you an out-of-warranty repair ($99-$199). If you want to take a chance on just replacing the battery, Google for a third party repair shop, but in that case, the risk is all yours.

Hi, i have tried to update itunes in the normal way as when i opened it, it said that there was an update available. However it would not let me saying that the was a mobile device error. I have unistalled and reinsatlled it and I am still getting the same error. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
