If they are not working as described then have you tried deleting and redownloading them, and if that doesn't fix it tried contacting the developer ? So at my school right now we are on a Romeo and Juliet lesson and for a whole 8th grade class activity we are doing something called "Verona's got Talent" its basically like Americas got talent and I was wondering if someone could help me by making an intro to the video. I am hoping it would look like the America's got talent intro but if its not its fine. It should say the Judges names and the names are Romeo Stirn, Juliet Klum, Mercutio Mandel, Mel Benvoilio. this is what i am guessing when people buy their additional stuff from HP such as Office and they either get a paper with their product key or not and if not, how are they going to recover their office if they do not have the recover key to restore their application so they can get into the productivity they need to be able to function but also this is another failure where Ms does not have a way to get your product key either and i am guessing it is encrypted stored after you registered to verify the license so to recover lost product key is a brainstorming process if it is lost after the deletion is done which is lost in the wipe out or the new hard drive if replacing the failed drive but i like to advise people to get their product key and keep a record with an extra copy store where they can find it and such as example like a file cabinet or some kind of vault box only accessible by you and only you but here is a software that i have found and use which is from Ms Community Forum https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ remember get that key ASAP and store it and before you do any upgrade on your unit either office upgrade to OS upgrade or replacing the hard drive if it fails or you need a larger storage btw i have read this is store maybe in the bios or some where and how can you pull up any information that is need to recover such as your windows product key to application keys ? other than pulling up just your bios parameters good luck and i hope you can get this resolve

Blue Screen on Satellite P100 - need to recover data

On switching on my laptop yesterday I was faced with a blue screen error message which even after running chkdisk keeps on appearing, even when rebooting in safe mode.
The problem is I only have Toshiba recovery disks (not an XP disk - XP was pre-installed on the laptop) and they say on them using the recovery disk wipes the computer and I need to recover data on the hard drive before reformatting.
I've taken the laptop to the local repair centre and they say they have to reformat and dont do data recovery.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I took the laptop to the local Toshiba repair centre and they ran some tests and said that there was no problem with the hardware. However, when I took the machine to a specialist company to get the data recovered they reported 'serious errors in the file allocation table'. They managed to recover most of my data but when the hard drive was re-formatted the problems returned so I had to purchase a new hard drive which wasnt cheap.
My laptop is under warranty and I am a little annoyed that they said there was no problem with the hard drive when there patently was. I would like to reocover the money from Toshiba spent on the drive. (laptop under warranty)

Nothing you can do, it's going to need to be rebooted to fix it.
You can install OS X on a external drive and download $100 Data Rescue to read the 1's and 0's of deleted files on a hard drive (not a SSD) you can't have Filevault on neither.
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
Once you do that then you can fix the machine.

My 2nd gen works fine with WPA2 and AES encryption.
You may need to go back and start over. Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router.

You appear to have two issues: 1) a hard drive that is not working properly and 2) files you wish to recover.
Re 1) you need to answer Kappy's questions.
Re 2) does the drive load and can you see your photo files? If so can you copy them to another drive?
Do you not have a backup of the photo files?

I'm using Oracle 11gR2 (11.2.0.1.0).
I have backed up a database when it is online using the following backup script through RMAN

}The backup set contains the backup of datafiles and control file. I have copied all the backup pieces to another server where I will restore/recover the database but I don't know which archived logs are needed in order to restore/recover the database to a consistent state.
I have not deleted any archived log.
How can I find out which archived logs are needed to recover the hot backup to a consistent state? Can this be done by querying V$BACKUP_DATAFILE and V$ARCHIVED_LOG? If yes, which columns should I query?

A few ways :
1a. Get the timestamps when the BACKUP ... DATABASE began and ended.
1b. Review the alert.log of the database that was backed up.
1c. From the alert.log identify the first Archivelog that was generated after the begin of the BACKUP ... DATABASE and the first Archivelog that was generated after the end of the BACKUP .. DATABASE.
1d. These (from 1c) are the minimal Archivelogs that you need to RECOVER with. You can choose to apply additional Archivelogs that were generated at the source database to contininue to "roll-forward"
2a. Do a RESTORE DATABASE alone.
2b. Query V$DATAFILE on the restored database for the lowest CHECKPOINT_CHANGE# and CHECKPOINT_TIME. Also query for the highest CHECKPOINT_CHANGE# and CHECKPOINT_TIME.
2c. Go back to the source database and query V$ARCHIVED_LOG (FIRST_CHANGE#) to identify the first Archivelog that has a higher SCN (FIRST_CHANGE#) than the lowest CHECKPOINT_CHANGE# from 2b above. Also query for the first Archivelog that has a higher SCN (FIRST_CHANGE#) than the highest CHECKPOINT_CHANGE# from 2b above.
2d. These (from 2c) are the minimal Archivelogs that you need to RECOVER with.
(why do you need to query V$ARCHIVED_LOG at the source ? If RESTORE a controlfile backup that was generated after the first Archivelog switch after the end of the BACKUP ... DATABASE, you would be able to query V$ARCHIVED_LOG at the restored database as well. That is why it is important to force an archivelog (log switch) after a BACKUP ... DATABASE and then backup the controlfile after this -- i.e. last. That way, the controlfile that you have restored to the new server has all the information needed).
3. RESTORE DATABASE PREVIEW in RMAN if you have the archivelogs and subsequent controlfile in the backup itself !

A recent drive failure forced a complete re-install of all windows Vista system software I was able to revive old hardisk & I need to recover my bookmarks.

I recently suffered a hard drive failure that managed to take months worth of valuable work when it failed. I replaced the hard disk drive in my laptop and completed a fresh install of Windows Vista and all the programs that were used on that system which included Firefox. After finding an exact match of the drive that failed I managed to get the drive running again by replacing the drives control board and I am now able access the data on the drive.I usually really anal about backing up all of my valuable data but I have been so busy with my current project my usual habits went to the wayside. I need to recover the Firefox bookmarks from the old drive and recover them to the new drive but I haven't been able to find the file that contains the bookmarks from the previous installation of Firefox. Could somebody please help me locate these valuable bookmark files

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.
