  • Is it possible to install Adobe Web Premium CS5.5 on a Windows 8?

I have purchased Adobe Web Premium CS5.5 as a Student version.
Currently I run it on a Windows 7 PC.
I want to buy a new notebook and wonder whether it is possible to install my Adobe Web Premium CS 5.5 on a Windows 8 PC?
Alternatively, is it possible to use my Adobe Web Premium CS 5.5 on a MAC?

    Dear Eshant_Jindal,
    thanks for your answer.
And is it possible that I use my current license for a MAC? I am not sure whether I have bought a WIN license or a general license?
I know that the system requirements of Adobe Web Premium CS 5.5 do not specify Windows 8.
This is why I have contacted you. So there is no better answer than “Try it”? Does it work on an average Windows 8 computer? Which system constraints need to be regarded?
As I have not bought the new computer, I could pay attention to any system constraints that could endanger the installation of Adobe Web Premium Cs 5.5.
    Best regards

  • Deactivate Adobe Web Premium CS5 problem

    Hello,
I have Creative Suite Web Premium CS5. On old computer, the deactivate voice in menu "?" exist but in the Window of Adobe Creative Web Premium CS5, receive this message:
"Connect to internet and press continue".
Acrobat 9 Pro is deactivated without problem and internet is ok. I have a new computer but the number of pc is two and I can't install the suite on new computer, if the deactivate process is not completed on old computer first... I have removed antivirus software, not exist firewall or proxy in this moment on old computer.

Check your router/ firewall. There is still a port being blocked which is not necessarily the one used by Acrobat. in case of persisting problems try a network sniffer liek Wireshark to see where your packets bounce....

  • Adobe Update Server - Web Premium CS5.5 - Error Code: U41M1C213

    Good Afternoon All!
I've just received the site licence for Adobe Web Premium CS5.5 and installing the Adobe Update Server.
I can browse to the xml file on the client (which just displays a number), and I've downloaded all the updates etc. restarted the site... I've deployed the AdobeUpdater.overrides file to the client, but when I try updating I get the following error:
The update server is not responding. The server might be offline
temporarily, or the Internet of firewall settings may be incorrect.
Please try again later. Error Code: U41M1C213
I've looked around online but can't see any reference to this issue.
When I remove the AdobeUpdater.overrides file from the client and try updating again, it finds updates from Adobe, but fails when I put it back.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be extremely grateful... If any more information is needed, just ask.
    Thanks,
    Rick
(p.s. apologies if this isn't in the correct forum/board, there wasn't one for the update server)

    Hi Ralph,
Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I am experiencing a similar issue with the CS5.5 Design and Web Premium installation, failing while installing Illustrator 15.1 and rolling back the installation.

  • Can I install Adobe Web Premium CS6 over CS5 on Yosemite?

I've downloaded and installed Adobe web premium CS5 and registered it. My company paid an upgrade for CS6. What are steps for installing CS6 - can I upgrade directly from CS5 without uninstalling it?

CS6 is a separate install, so whether you remove CS5 beforehand or just leave it in place is ultimately entirely your choice.

  • Creative Suite Web Premium CS5

Please pardon if I might be posting the query in the wrong forum. If so please let me know and I will re-post. Otherwise I would sincerely appreciate some assistance with this serious paroblem... thank you  RL
I recently had several serious machine problems and had to reinstall the OS (W7 Pro-64) of both of my desktop computers. One I could deactivate the Adobe suite but the second machine froze without being able to access any programs. I 'chatted' with someone at Adobe back in September and was told that all of the programs had been activated or whatever and I should have no problem re-installing. I re-installed Web Premium CS5 on both machines and then went through multiple updates to bring the software up to date without issue. I do not recall any updating problems until recently when I got notice of updates available for most of the program's segments. But when I try the updates they all fail. (See attached screen shot images for details...) I have tried multiple times on both machines with identical results. I started with Macromedia Flash many years ago and through Adobe's acquisition of that company/software and various updates/upgrades I have arrived at the point where CS5 seems to do exactly what I need. I just want what I have to be able get the latest updates and keep my programs current. Why can I not do updates on my legally purchased and registered Adobe software!? Robert Lawrence, owner - Digital San Diego - [email protected]

Mylenium, Here are the system configurations on each of my desktop computers. You were the only respondent to my post
so presumably you are the definitive source? I have had almost exclusively from poor to bad product support from Adobe on past
issues, so I am not totally surprised that you suggest 'status quo' even though ALL updates seem to fail as an acceptable solution.
NO! And, YES I am very interested in getting WHATEVER updates are available for my Adobe Web Premium CS5 Suite. So
unless you have another 'definitive' solution that actually works I will have to look elsewhere for an acceptable answer.

  • Elearning 2.5 to upgrade Web Premium cs5.5

I recently bought, downloaded and installled elearning 2.5 as an upgrade to Adobe Web Premium CS5.5. The install abruptlly ended with serveral error messages aabout comptibility and ended with a faral error. Is this the right product to give me the basic components of Adobe Web Premium CS5.5 inclusive of Captivate and coursebuiler?

    By this page:
    https://www.adobe.com/products/elearningsuite.html
eLearning Suite 2.5 includes most CS6 products and Captivate 5.5, since CS6 for that product isn't ready yet.
That surprises me, as I am pretty sure eLS 2.5 included the 5.5 versions of all products. I'm not sure when it was upgraded to CS6. I would suspect that page is in error and it does NOT include the CS6 products... I'll see what I can dig up.
More to your question though, eLS 2.5 does include a subset of the Web Premium CS 5.5 products (i.e Flash, Dreamweaver), so it should work...but I'm not sure what you mean. If you had Web Premium CS 5.5, you gain Captivate and Presenter with the eLS 2.5 purchase. Is that what you needed?
Overall, what errors and compatibility errors were you seeing?

  • Trouble with my Adobe Web Premium license

    Hello,
I asked for assistance a couple of weeks ago, and got an answer that 1/2 way solved my problem. So I'm looking for help to get me all the way there.
For background, my original issue was:
I recently purchased a new Macbook Air. My other computer is a Mac Mini - and I have a purchased (and licensed) version of Adobe Web Premium 5.5 on that machine. I want to put this software on my new laptop - which does not have a CD/DVD drive.
I went to my Adobe account to view order history - but there's nothing there. In My Products, my license shows up - but I can't figure out how to download it to my laptop.
I got an answer - and was able to get the software installed on my laptop (via the 30-day trial download). But it's just a 30-day trial.
SO HERE'S WHAT I STILL NEED HELP WITH:
When I tried entering my serial number after downloading, I received a message that the serial number was not valid. I entered the serial number in my Adobe account (viewing "My Products").
Any idea how I get my software registered on my new laptop? I think I should be able to have my software registered on both my home machine and my laptop, is that correct?
    Thanks!
I appreciate any help I can get with this.
    Matt

    Matt,
This seems to be a bit confusing as a lot of software versions and softwares (suites versus individual products) are involved here. Lets simplify this.
As per your account registration details you've registered the serial number for Web Premium CS5 (this is the only serial number regisetered on your account) and not Web Premium CS 5.5.
Also per the link you mentioned above you've installed CS5.5, however you mentioned you've downloaded CS5. This is most probably why you're getting the serial number error.
Uninstall CS5.5 from your system, download CS5 from here and then try to install it.
    Thanks
    Nikhil

  • Web Premium CS5 Student/Teacher Edition - Cannot Register :(

I have a serious problem with a copy of  Student/Teacher Web Premium CS5 that I purchased in March 2011...
I am mother to 3 college students, we have 5 Macs in our house (27" iMac, 23" iMac and 3 MBPs).  We need all 4 of these registration activations to keep peace in our home.
I purchased and activated a copy of Student/Teacher Web Premium CS5 on July 2, 2010. On March 24, 2011 I purchased an additional Student/Teacher Web Premium which failed to register. I understand why the registration attempt failed in March. I attempted to register again on July 15th and it has continued to fail.
I've had a trouble ticket open with Adobe support since last Friday (15-July). I have isolated the problem, explained the fix, but the offshore support group has shown no interest in providing a solution for my problem outside the realm of their canned responsibilities. They are very disengaged - one guy offered me a cup of coffee while I waited on hold... how do you answer a stupid question like that ???
Meanwhile, a system error in Adobe's licensing database has triggered my new purchase to wait until March 24 2012 before I can activate. This just blows-the brains out of the employees at the offshore company, causing them to read me passages from their training manuals each time I mention it.
Does anyone know of a US BASED escalation path for support issues ?
I have some VERY EXPENSIVE software in a box that's been sitting unused on a shelf for 4 months
I'm starting to question my decision to "Do The Right Thing" and register the software all under one account...
Perhaps in the future I should create a new account with a unique email address every time I purchase a product ?
    Thanks in advance -
    - Jane

As a follow-up, I sent an email to [email protected] as recommended. Awaiting reply
A silly side note, after waiting 4 months to re-install (per Adobe Support's instructions, back in March) I received the following conclusion from the off-shore support group :
We apologize for the inconveniece. We did not realise that you have already
purchased the application. We were under the impression that you wanted
to apply for one. Unfortunately, the application you purchased on March
2011 will not be approved and moreover the request has to be made within
    the 30 days of time.
Therefore, you need to place a new order because this one will not be
accepted. Also since it has already over 30 days since, you bought the
    product it cannot be returned.
Did you catch that? My license request has been denied because it has been more that 3 months since I purchased the software - even though I was instructed to wait 4 months before attempting to re-register.
    UN-believable !

  • Web Premium CS5 updates fail

FIRST, I use these Forum post rarely and I hope this is the correct section of the Forum to address my and if not would someone please either let me know so I can possibly re-post to whichever is the correct section?
The Adobe Application Manger shows that I have multiple updates available for my Web Premium CS5 Suite, but when I try (and have several times) they all fail. Each individual product states the reason as 'There was error downloading this update. Please quite and try again later'. I have had the Adobe Suite installed on two desktop machines (1) Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @3.40 Hz, 23 GB RAM, W7 Pro 64-bit (2) AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor 3.32 GHz, 16 GB RAM, W7 Pro 64-bit for some time. I get the same error result on both machines when updating is attempted. This problem started a few weeks ago and I have not had any prior problem with updating any of my numerous Adobe software products before. My product S/N:[deleted by moderator]. I just had a useless 'CHAT' with one of your "off-shore" support personnel who was, as no surprise, of no help whatsoever and referred me to this Form... hence this message.
I hope someone can help resolve this problem. Although the different programs work 'as is' it is always best to keep each program with the latest updates. Robert Lawrence, owner - Digital San Diego [email protected]

I posted the s/n because invariably whenever I post to a forum I get back a reply stating more information is needed...etc. Yes, I should have known better and I do really appreciate your action in removing the information as quickly as you did in hopes of preventing and damage. However, if as you say ' There have been no new updates to CS5 for years.' then why do I have the Adobe Updater sitting in my taskbar (and it has been there for a while) prompting me with a reminder balloon on each log in that I 'have updates' ready to install? Then when I click to install they ALL fail! And all of the listed updates [Br,  Dw, Fw, Fl, Ps, Ps(64bit),  Ext Mgr and Camera RAW] are for CS5. I did not put the Adobe Application Manager there and would have had no idea there was any available updates if it had not appeared. So... if then there are no updates.... why is the Adobe Application Manager there showing availability of these CS5 updates? Please explain that......

  • Where I can download Adobe Web Premium 5

Hello! I bought a Adobe Web Premium 5, where I can download this? I try here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-product-downloads.html (English—International 3,1Gb), but my serial number doesn't work with this

getting a different link to the same program is unlikely to solve the problem.  you need to find why your serial number fails, Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite
