That would be because there is no "Software Update". As Rudegar already stated, connect it to the computer and restore it.

If you mean Siri then that is only on the iPad 3, it is not on the iPad 2 in iOS 6 (possibly because the iPad 2 doesn't have the Audience chip which the iPad 3 does). If there are other things that you think are missing (YouTube has been removed, and Passbooks is iPhone and iPod Touch only) ?

Unfortunately you can't. A JPEG is a flat raster (pixel-based) image file which has no awareness of "text" inside it. You could try to erase the text and graphic under it and then recreate the text, but it's best to do so using a mastering format such as PSD (Photoshop) or PXM (Pixelmator), so that you can export as JPEG but keep your layered master for later editing.

iWeb uses the domain.sites2 files to store its assets.
You'll find it here :
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/
where ~ is your Home directory.
If you take a computer with you, you have to store that file in the same location.
It's not different from taking documents with you if you want to edit them.
A solution is to remotely control your computer at home.
TeamViewer, LogMeIn, Apple Remote Desktop or any VNC application you can use, like "Chicken of the VNC".

OS 10.5.x is the max OS for Macs with a PowerPC processor. If your iMac has an Intel processor you can upgrade to Snow Leopard OS 10.6.x and possibly Lion OS 10.7

I purchased Design Standard CS6 the entire package. I downloaded and installed but I was continually having problems with Adobe Acrobat Pro. I tried updating to the newest version but it only made the problems worse (acrobat was super slow and constantly not responding). So i decided to try to uninstall and then reinstall the program. Well I uninstalled, and then attempted to reinstall ONLY the adobe acrobat pro but it says my serial number (which is for design standard) will not work. Since Acrobat Pro is included in the suite, i thought this wouldnt be a problem. Is there anyway to get around this without uninstalling the entire design standard and reinstalling everything? I only need to reinstall acrobat pro.

You need to reinstall Acrobat the the Creative Suite, you cannot download it is a separate application and install it that way because it will be looking for a serial number relative to being a singly purchased application.

Hi, I need to reinstall Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro, so I made a backup yesterday and today I tried to reinstall everything from that backup.
To my surprise, Time Machine says that the last full backup was made on February!
I've always made regular backups during these months on my Time Machine HD, what can I do to reinstall everything from the backup I made yesterday?

Most likely, some folders were inadvertently excluded from your backups, and as a result you can't restore your data in Recovery, Setup Assistant, or Migration Assistant.
Starting from a fresh installation of OS X, set up a new administrator account and log in. Follow the instructions on this page to associate your existing backups with the new installation.
You should now be able to enter Time Machine and restore your user data from a snapshot.* I suggest you do this in two stages. Quit all applications except the Finder before you begin.
Restore all the visible items at the top level of your home folder.
Hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar. Enter Time Machine and restore all items in the Library folder. Log out and log back in as soon as the restore is complete.
Any other invisible folders or files at the top level of your home folder that you want to preserve will have to be restored separately. For most users, that isn't necessary.
You'll have to reinstall all third-party applications from scratch, or restore them from another kind of backup, if you have one.

Windows has a tool called IETester for testing all versions of IE and I was looking for more of a solution like this !?

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Desperately need to contact a sales person at ADOBE. How do I do that via phone.   Need to uninstall and reinstall Lightroom, even if that means purchasing another program.   Program I have has become corrupt since applying update from Adobe 3.1 to 3.5

Keith - Corruption - Happened about 1 year ago. I thought it was fixed. At first didn't know what the problem was. I have updated to 3.6
Problem - opening program really slow, Then it would crash,   Then I had problems opening the Pictures folder in Explorer.
Found a program that let me look at the photo files im Explorer. There were several extremely large files that even explorer would let me open.
In desperation,, I deleted all those photo files.
Problem fixed....so it seemed, even though I didn't know what was causing the corrupt photo files.
After 4 months of no use, I opened LR to create sticks for family memebers that are to be part of a will, legacy and I don't have a lot of time.   Last time it took me 2 weeks to get things right,,,,,and I don't have that much time. And my brain is't what it used to be.
The things I have that can help me are:

A lap top where I can place and reinstall my LR program.
All my photo files are on 2 external drives.
