I need to reinstall PS7 on a computer running Win7

I have PS7 on my computer, transfered files from my old PC, but when I try to run the installation disc, it just stops. I get no error messages. It works fine on my old computer running Vista. I have a 2TB hard drive that is not partitioned, but I can't even get the disc to run the installation startup. I get the popup that asks for my language and what I want to install, but nothing beyond that.
This is an upgrade from PS5. I always have to copy the directory for PS7 to a new hard drive, then reinstall the program since I no longer have the PS5 disc.

Right-click on My Computer --> Manage, then go to the disk management tool. Right-click on the bars that represent your drive(s) and choose the relevant options for creating or resizing a partition. and just to be clear: The installer will frown on any partition that is larger than 500 GB, not just the primary one, so you will have to either split your 2TB drive in at least 4 partitions or after downsitzing your system partition leave the remaing 1.5 TB unformatted/ the partition inactive for the time being, so the programs think it doesn't exist.

Stolen laptop...got new one and need to reinstall Photoshop CS3 on my new one. Adobe "customer service" is not helpful. I have the original $1,500 software, but when I try to install it. I get an error notice and it only installs a portion (PDF). Advice anyone? I know it's old software, but it worked up until the theft. I really need it for my work.

Installing, and uninstalling, applications never touches or removes the data.
Clean out and uninstall all the apple programs and software thru Programs and manually.
Might want to use Revo and CCleaner
I always use manual standalone installers (and keep a couple backup versions)
itunes 10.5 may affect iTunes media playlists, not sure, depends on what you have.
A search of these forums will show some threads.
I'd clean up vista, you need SP2 or later, and specific error message?
I wonder as you arenot the first with a dell if maybe the OS or included software.
Security programs like Norton and older versions of Kaspersky have been implicated.
Also settings in IE that affect pop-ups and plug-ins.

So it sounds as though you wiped your drive and it can't find the system (OS startup) folder because there is none (folder with ?).
One more question: did your machine come with Lion?? Or did you purchase it at the app store? If it came with the machine, then it would not show in the app store.
You tried recovery and said it "made an internet recovery" - when you booted up with Command + R, did you at first see a spinning globe? If not, there was no internet recovery. Try restarting with Command + Option + R - on older machines, that is internet recovery (if your machine supports it). You should wind up with a screen like this:

Now the light is not blinking. It's a solid, consistant green. I don't know if it helps to narrow it down or anything, but I just figured I'd mention it.

How can I download a new install of Acrobat 7 to a new computer running Win7

I am running Acrobat 7 on my old desktop and now bought a new system. I do not have the original install disks, but this is a registered copy and shows up in My Adobe. Can I download a new install and then deactivate the old install and activate the new install on the new computer?

Acro 7 is not compatible with Win 7, anyway, so anything you do would be a waste of time. Upgrade to Acrobat X or for the time being use Reader and other PDF creation and editing tools.

With any Suite, launch one app (e.g. Photoshop) and click Help > Deactivate to deactivate the entire suite.
CS4 has not been an active product since CS5 shipped in 2010. We've since had CS5, CS6, CC (subscription only) and now CC 2014 (subscription only).
Also, it depends on what you mean by active. You can still download, install and activate CS4.
However Adobe no longer does any work on CS4 and no longer supports it via Customer Service Chat etc.

That is correct Steelgrrl you will want to locate your installation media and copy the installation files to a USB drive on a computer which does have an optical drive.
Alternately if you purchased from Adobe directly and choose the download option at the time of purchase then the download will be available under your account. You can find more details at Find a download link on Adobe.com.

Trying to reinstall photoshop cs5 after computer crash

i need to reinstall photoshop after a computer crash. i inserted the cd, accepted the conditions, but am unable to enter the product code. Can enter numbers, but not letters. I am assuming this is because this is a student/teacher edition. What do I need to do in order to reinstall Photoshop?
