I need to remove a partition from my bootcamp that doesn't appear.

I accidentally dropped my windows partitioned HS into the trash and have since emptied the trash. How do I get the HDD to show up so I can remove it using utilities?

What is Partitioned HS, did you mean HD?
Not sure what you are talking about but the only safe way to remove a Boot Camp Windows partition is by using the Boot Camp Assistant program found in the Utilities folder in Applications. Otherwise if you delete the partition with Disk Utility you might just lose the space that partition is using.

something. But you may be able to replace the file if

It didn't work, I'm sorry to say, but thanks for the idea. As to the "root user privileges" method, I wouldn't even consider it. My computer "skills" are definitely not at the level for trying anything that could be described in those terms. Still, there is hope. I found the creator of the program and sent him an e-mail message this morning.

I somehow feel that if you couldn't...no, no, let's not say that, let's just hope that the program's creator will be able to help. Thanks again for what you have done.

HELP! You've heard of builders who never get their house finished? Well, I have a husband who could do this and a friend of my husband's who can also but they REFUSE to help me or at least keep forgetting (conveniently). I'm at wits end and am contemplating taking it to the shop. UGH!! I no longer have a boot camp assistant (I tried to do this before last year and gave up and bought a pc as my work programs wouldn't work with Mac.) What can I do?

Niels approach to get the BootCamp Assistant back is recommended because usually the correct way to remove your Windows partition is to use the BootCamp Assistant again which should give you the option to remove the made Windows partition and revert back to one OSX volume.
After that's done a reboot of your Mac might be advisable.
Only if that's not working (whatever the reason) :
1) boot your Mac from your OSX install DVD
2) choose your language and then 'ignore' (cancel) the installation
3) from the Top Menu (Utilities) start Disk Utility (DU)
4) in DU click on your harddisk (not any partition) in the left pane (the first item listed)
5) in the right pane use the 'Partition'-Tab
6) click to highlight on the ex-Windows partition you want to delete
7) click on the small '-' Button at the bottom
That should delete your former Windows partition
After that's done successfully
8) Drag the partition separator line until it encompasses the entire drive and then select apply.
9) Quit Disk Utility
10) reboot your Mac from your harddisk.
Since you are 'fumbling' with your OSX partition you should consider having/making a backup of it before trying the a.m. procedure. Just in case.

Is there a way to remove all of my contacts from the iCloud? My phone has my correct contacts list. When I sync with iCloud it pulls down 50+ contacts that I do not want. I went to iCloud to remove the unwanted contacts and it takes nearly 1 minute for each one. Another soluntion would be to make my phone contacts override my iCloud contacts?

Go to your Contacts on your Mac - if more than one pick the most accurate; delete any contacts you don't want. Select all the contacts, and from the File menu choose 'Export...'>'Export vCard'. Save the resultant file safely: it will be your 'master' list.
Now delete all the contacts from whichever device has the most in it. Sync with iCloud. If necessary repeat with different Macs. The result should be that the deletions sync to iCloud and in the end you finish up with empty Contacts lists everywhere.
Now you can import your saved file to one of your Macs. Make sure you import it under 'iCloud' not 'On My Mac'. Then it should propagate iCloud and any other devices. Keep the saved file at least until you are satisfied that all is in order.

I want to turn these off, so I go to Settings->Notifications and from there I want to go to Geared but there is no Geared button. And yet this app is sending me push notifications. In stock overview MMBE, there is no unrestricted qty. but there is some Qty in "Returns", how we need to remove this Qty from this plant..there is no stock in transit for this material for this plant? but there is some stock in transit in some other plant.
I am not sure what the purchase order/STO is. I have reviewed all of the past stock transfers with this material on them and cannot find one open, they need to get this material removed.
Please suggest how we can remove this Returns Qty from this plant (MMBE)?

if you have stock in returns status in MMBE, then you can move it into unrestricted status with 453, into own blocked status with 459.
this returns stock is created when you post a goods receipt to a return delivery. returns stock is not financially owned by you, it is non-valuated stock until you transfer it with an extra movement (453 or 459) into own stock.

Obviously, this takes up about 3gb of memory. I therefore, need to push this film back into the cloud thereby removing it from my device. Just done: the application crashes trying to export IDML!!!
This is not a good sign. Try moving the pages to another document using the Pages panel menu.
But you should also try copying all the items on one page and pasting them into another document.
Then when you've got a few pages in the new document, try moving or deleting them. Or try exporting as IDML.
Also, build a completely new sample document (doesn't have to be all the information) from scratch and try deleting/moving those pages.
This will help us see if it's just one document or all.
