In Motion 5 there is a plugin from CoreMelt called "SliceX" that does this. But I don't know anything in Motion 4 that will do it. You may get more help posting in the appropriate "Final Cut Studio" section of this forum.

trying to do a in-place upgrade of a Domain Controller Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2012 R2.
The problem was the separated System Reserved Partition. After I removed using this instructions:

I AM A PASSIONATE APPLE USER. Please don't get me wrong. I love every Apple product we have. I am just a bit discouraged that as a person living and working overseas, I do not have the same opportunity to build my Mac to my specifications. I am bound to buying the products through the Exchange. I appreciate that they are carried but when I compare to the Store, I am discouraged that there are some FREE options offered to Stateside folks not offered to AAFES/Exchange consumers. I want a track pad instead of a mouse. It seems that is where Mac technology is headed. Lion will all but REQUIRE it for many of the new features coming! Apple should offer new purchasers the opportunity for a free upgrade to a track pad!

you can't just move XP even if you took the hard drive and have Windows boot and function.
Apparently there are Windows tools to sanitize the OS and strip all the motherboard drivers and services.
Time to get a supported OS. Don't want to pay, then use 8 for the time until it goes on sale.
There are no drivers for even Vista on 2011 and later Macs.

If the phone is unlocked then you can use it in India.
If your phone is locked, then the only way to get the phone unlocked is to contact your phone company/carrier. The person that sold you the phone in Saudi should have told you whether it was locked or unlocked. Contact them to check and then contact the carrier to have it unlocked if it is locked.
Other than that there is not a lot that you can do - perhaps it was unwise to purchase a phone in Saudi - it won't have Facetime on it if you got it there.

If anyone ever comes across this and has the same issue, here's what I did to fix it:
My Linksys router has a Network Mode setting, and I had to change it from "Mixed" to "Wireless-G only". (I would've used N but one of the NICs in my house is too old to support it.) Anyway, after making this change, Facetime works fine on the phone. Hope this helps someone else!

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Yes Vudu streams. iTunes does not. If you buy or rent a movie on your computer through the iTunes store, then you are legally entitled to transfer that movie to your digital device as long as that device is under the Same Apple ID used to download it to the computer, and is authorized to view the content. Usually this is the case if your device is synced with iTunes on the computer This is legal and covered by the terms of use of the iTunes store.
If your rent a movie on your computer you can also transfer it to your iPad but it will be removed from the computer as rentals can only exist in one place at a time. When the rental period expires the movie will be automatically removed from your computer or device, wherever it is when the rental period expires.
If you buy a movie on your iPad these can be transferred to your computer using the Transfer Purchases button on iTunes on your computer while the iPad is connected to it. Rentals on iPads or other mobile device cannot be transferred and must be watched in the iPad or device that download them.
All of these methods through the iTunes store download the complete movie to the device or computer, so no internet connection is required for watching at a later date.
Rentals have a 30 day life as long as they haven't begun to be watched. Once the movie has been started then it has a 48 hour expiry period. That is you must finish watching the rented movei within 48 hours of rental as after that it is removed from the device. You can watch it as many times as you want in that period of time though.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Windows images, but you get the point. Depending on the age of your library the library file might not include the .itl extention. Make it match the file you are replacing.
See MusicFolder Files Not Added and Super Remove Dead Tracks for tools to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.

Hi Srinivas,
You can use the view WB2_V_VBAK_VBAP2 for fetching data from VBAK and VBAP instead of using a JOIN. Note that, in the view, item data fields will have a I following the field name (POSNRI, MATNR_I are the item data fields from VBAP). The master data fields of VBAK are the same.
As far as i know, there are no standard views provided by SAP for VBEP and VBBE. Not sure if FM exists either.
While using FOR ALL ENTRIES clause make sure that you specify the entire primary key (EX. if selecting from VBAP specify VBELN and POSNR) as fields for selection or in the selection criteria. Its much better if you have the primary key in both. This is really important because without specifying the entire key and using FOR ALL ENTRIES will drastically bring down the performance. And also, If you are fetching not more than 100 or 200 entries using the clause it is fine, beyond that its same as using a select statement within LOOP...ENDLOOP.
So, you have to decide whether to use FOR ALL ENTRIES or a JOIN while selecting data depending on the requirement. If you don't have the entire key either in fields for selection or selection criteria, then its better to use a JOIN or VIEW.
The following is an example for using FOR ALL ENTRIES clause effectively.
         Select VBELN
                    POSNR
                    MATNR
            From VBAP
              into Table T_VBAP
          For All Entries in T_DATA
          Where VBELN eq T_DATA-VBELN
              And POSNR eq T_DATA-POSNR.

Hello, I need to run bookkeepting/ bill writing/ store management software on my imac and would like to use Lexware's German product (equivalent of Quickbooks), which can directly link to the German tax autorities. I was told I can do this from my imac via Bootcamp (they dont do a mac version).
Is this advisable and are there any downsides? Is it simple enough? Do I need to be online to use the Lexware software (I live in the deepest countryside with a wobbly connection!).

There shouldn't be any issues as Boot Camp allows installation of Windows which runs natively just as if you were on a PC. The only downside is that you have to buy a Windows full install disk. Be sure it is the right version for your software.

On a software name Appfresh, it alerted me to update my MBPr 15 inches running latest OSX 10.8.2, with Chinese Word List Update 1.2. When I clicked on Software Pdate, app Store return No update available.
My system have Chinese Word List Update 1.0 installed, and on October 5, 2012, Chinese Word List Update 1.1 was released by Apple, as alerted through AppFresh. However, this update never get updated on m system. I have to manually download chinesewordlistupdate.pkg from reviews.cnet.com/macfixit and install it manually. By doing so, I have Chinese Word List Update 1.1 on my system.
The same problem occurred again today on November 5, 2012, where Chinese Word List Update is released by Apple. again, it fail to update from Software Update menu.
Can you please:
1. Explain why this problem occurred. This is so annoying.
2. Advise me how can I get this Chinese Word List Date to update to version 1.2. Can you please send me the chinesewordlistupdate.pkg for version 1,2 so that I can manually install it on my system?
