    For months, since we traveled overseas, I have not been able to buy anything from the appstore.  My mom had to delete my old apple ID and create a new one so I can buy stuff.  Problem is I still have itunes money in my old apple account but I can't use it because I don't remember the security answers (spelling might be off).   The same thing happened to my brother's ipod touch at the same time of the trip.  How do we change those security questions so Iwecan use ourItunes balance from our old account?

    Backup the library with this User Tip.
    Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
    Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
    Keep your backup up-to-date in future.

    I asked the above question a few hours ago and Adobe's Rajshree responded and said I could simply log in to Adobe.com, purchase the new Photoshop + Lightroom CC offer, and then let her know my order number, and that she would then cancel my existing CC and I would not be penalised. However, I can't buy the new Photoshop as each time I log in, it Adobe tells me I already have the CC. I can't even cancel my CC because it just says  to contact Adobe! And when I try to contact Adobe, I just keep getting the Q&A site.  The Chat facility is a joke, as is the phone number, the last time I tried either, I was on hold for over an hour, ridiculous!  I've been going round and round in circles all day now!
    I replied to Rajshree regarding my problem with following her instructions, but to date she has not responded to me.  That is sooooo disappointing.
    I would like to downgrade my Adobe CC to the Photoshop CC offer of $9.99 a month as I am not working and can no longer afford the $49.99 a month, besides I only ever use Photoshop.  My subscription is due to roll over again on 15th Feb, I certainly hope Adobe will be able to help resolve my problem before I get charged another $49.99 which I don't have!

    Why is my question not answered? Do Spanish questions have a higher priority ;-) ?
    The question was: is the smartbar visible in webforms? Also in Forms Builder when pushing button 'Run in Web-mode' instead of 'Run in Client/Server-mode'? That's not the case in our environment (default installation).

    The 'spanish message' was placed a day earlier and IF there was any prioritizing, that, and not the language, would be it. The question you placed on this forum was replied to within 1.5 hours (!) after you put it there. I don't think there is a reason for this sarcastic message only 40 minutes after you sent your question.

  • Need to REMOVE Apple ID account from previously owned iMac

    I recently purchased a previously owned iMac and need to REMOVE its previous Apple ID account to remove apps that they obviously purchased. Can this be done? I am being prompted to update these apps and when I try, I am asked to enter this OLD account. I actually want to REMOVE these apps for I have zero interest in them. The system was supposedly wiped of all previous info from previous owner but I guess they over-looked the apps.
    Can someone advise and give me a step by step break down on how to do this? Remember, I have my own Apple ID but the apps were downloaded from a previous Apple ID account that is NOT mine but was on this system.

    My dad gave me his old iphone as he got an upgrade. I can't seem to change his icloud account to mine. I'm getting his updated calender and his mail - and there seems to be some confusion between both our accounts. He seems to be acquiring some of my contacts - some of which have names which have led to some probing questions... So basically this needs to be sorted out! How can i delete his account from the iphone but not his whole icloud account? he would not be happy if i did this...

    Thanks for the question. It sounds like you need to remove the phone from Find my iPhone (Activation Lock). To do so, follow these steps:
    Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account

    Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps:
    1. Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
    2. Select the device from their Find My iPhone device list by clicking All Devices at the top of the screen.
    3. Erase the device by clicking the Erase button. This will erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, do not enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
    4. When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
    After the device has been erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.
    Note: These directions may sound out of context for your situation, but don't worry, it's definitely what will fix the issue.

    So, why do you think it is attached? Have you tried to set up a new Apple ID for him using his email address? Give it a go to see if you can. Once you have set it up, then that is what he would use to sign in to the iTunes Store on his iPod or when he was on the computer where your iTunes library is (or where his iTunes library is).

    Reset Security Questions
    Frequently asked questions about Apple ID
    Manage My Apple ID
    Or you can email iTunes Support at iTunes Store Support.
    If all else fails:
      1. Go to: Apple Express Lane;
      2. Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
      3. Then choose iTunes Store;
      4. Then choose Account Management;
      5. Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click
          Continue;
      6. Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
      7. Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would
          like your security/challenge questions reset;
      8. Click Send/Continue.
    You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
    In the event you are unsuccessful then contact AppleCare - Contacting Apple for support and service.
    Another user had success doing the following:
    I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
    Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
          tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
          "done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
          Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
          should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
          selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
          should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
    It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
