I need to update my credit card.

1. I need help!!!
2. I need to update my credit card, which has expired, so that I can pay an outstanding balance.
3. There is a purchase on my account that I did not make. I may have made it accidentally, but it is music that I already have in my personal CD collection.
4. I was advised to purchase an I Tunes Gift Card, and that it will resolve this issue, and it did not resolve the issue.
5. When I try to delet the expired credit card, and update my account, a "Temporairly Unavailable . . . try again later" message appears. I have been trying again later for hours.

I Don't see why he can't download a free app, but there may be more to the story ....anyway, instructions can be found here.

    Hi - I had to update my credit and my spotfiy subscription failed.  When I go to update my account information, the link to update payment details takes me to the 'Get Premium' page.  When I try to resubscribe, it tells me that I am ineligble because I previously had a Prime account.  Is there no way to get this functioning again?

    It's a network issue, not an account balance issue. Troubleshoot your network or just restart your iPod and/or router, try connecting to the Store a bit later, or try the download in iTunes on your computer and then sync the purchase to your device.

    It's a phishing attempt to get your account and payment details (Apple don't send emails like that) . If you still have the email then you could forward it to Apple : [email protected]

    I am trying to set up a family sharing with a new iMac and other Mac pro computer and other apple products. When I click to manage account and the add a member, I am told to verify the user by entering the security code from the credit card. The card listed is an old one and has since been changed. I updated the info on my apple account, but it is not getting to the iCloud for the family sharing. The number shown is the old card. When I enter a code it says invalid. How long does it take for the info to udate to all systems?

    Happy Holidays!  The resource below explains how to edit the credit card information for the Apple ID account that you want to use for Family Sharing.  Once you've made the changes, I would suggest you sign out of your iTunes Store on all of your devices, and then restart them.  The changes should take place quickly.  There is a link to the iTunes Store support below if you need more help.

    Change your payment information on a Mac or PC
    Click to open your account in iTunes. (You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.)
    Alternatively, you can:
    Open iTunes.
    Click iTunes Store.
    Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.

    From the Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type.

    What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
    For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. If that is the case then you won't be able to download anything else (including app updates) until you've paid off what you owe : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
    If you aren't getting the 'problem with a previous purchase' message then try logging into your account (not when trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove the card's details and be able to download updates to your apps : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support

    My card was stolen and now I have a new one.  So I need to change the card information used for my subscription, but I can't.  I've been trying for days, using different browsers, computers, etc.  Contacted chat support with no results.  Who do I need to call to get help updating my credit card?
    The message I get is "Card is invalid, please check card details"
    I have only 4 days left in my subscription.

    Customer Service is completely incompetent with this type of issue. You will eventually speak to someone who does not have a good command of English, and judging from the background noise, is sitting in some kind of low cost "boiler room" operation that Adobe noiw considers to be adequate to service their paying customers.
    I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to do the same thing. I have work to do, and eventually had to hang up. The chat line reps have to power to do anything but read from their FAQ cards.
    It must be nice to have a virtually monopoly on computer software...you can treat your customers any way you want and not have to suffer any consequences.

    When I go to update my credit card details I get this message: 
    This may be due to one of two reasons:
    1. The FI you are trying to access is deactivated
    2. The access to the FI is restricted for specific IP addresses, and your address is not one of them.  
    Does this mean there is something wrong my actual account? I've tried to update on two different computers in two different locations and get the same message. Any advice??
