I need to upload a jpg. into a web-based program.

the document is created in Pages, and apparently saved within the app. All I can see to do is email it, but not a choice to "save" it on the iPad itself so I can find it when I "browse" from the web program. Any advise?

Need help uploading mp4 file into Muse

Help please!
I have a very nice quality, short animation I want to add to my Muse website's home page, but am stuck on putting the video file into the site. I have found that I need to change the mp4 into a swf (flash) file, but I couldn't get that to work either. (Flash gives me the error: "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them." when trying to import the mp4 and mov file to convert to swf. I have tried HTML5 also, but can't seem to get the code right.
Can anyone help me get this video file into a Muse site? If that means I just copy a piece of code and put it into Muse that would be great. If it means I just have to drag and drop, that would be even better! (dreaming a little bit!)

Help needed.. Uploading a jpg into a BufferedImage type in servlets

Heys guys. I'm trying to use a jsp servlet to upload an image and convert the Stream back to a buffered image. However I'm getting the error "Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x2d 0x2d" with every JPG i try.
Here is the code Im using in the servlet:

If you upload a file using webutil_filetransfer, the blob in the database should have the same size as the file on the client. If you generate a pdf including the image, the pdf-filesize will likely be different as pdf stores images in a different way.

Need to Upload the image into XMII server from a desktop

Can anyone let me know how to upload the image from my laptop on to the server which i should be using in my pages. I tried using Image Loader and Image Saver. But it lead me no where. Is there a detailed documentation for this ?

Could you give some details on what you are trying to achieve.
Is this a use case scenario where images need to be uploaded by a handful of people using some web UI?
or
Is this a use case scenario where you wish to upload images from the harddrive of absolutely any user?
The reason for my questions is as follows.
If you wish to allow some high-level (technically savvy) users the ability to upload images to be shown in dynamic content for remainder of the public, you could, in theory, set up a network directory that xMII is able to see. These High-Level users could drop their images in the folder and specify the path in a text box.
You could go one step further and use Get Folder List action from within an Xacute transaction and display the list of images in this folder on a web UI. Users could pick the image from the list and "Bob's your Uncle!".

if the pdf is not an interactive form (created in an other SAP system) you may have a chance of extracting the data. I saw some blogs on this. I you don not receive hundreds of pdf's daily it will be cheaper to type in the data.
A useful alternative is IDOC technology.

Need assistance with editing/resizing/exporting for web based images

Camera: Nikon D7100
Using 14-bit RAW
So somehow I've failed to notice that when I export after editing and using the resize option (to 2000x2000), the quality of the resulting JPEG is soft and lacking in detail/clarity that exists in the image in LR. Even when I export it without resizing, leaving it in the natively taken resolution, the clarity and sharpness is gone. I've tried using the sharpen for screen settings but it doesn't fix the basic issue of the softness/clarity. I thought it might be the JPG view I was using (the default photo viewer in windows 8), so I reimported it back into lightroom but it shows the same lack of clarity/sharpness.
Attached is a sample of the issue. One is a screenshot of how it looks in LR, the other how it exports. 100% Quality, 72 resolution (have tried the default of 240 and it didn't change anything), sRGB color space.
Am I doing something wrong with the export process?

I stated in the original post that I was using the default windows 8 viewer (Windows Photo Viewer). However, when I reimported the JPG back into LR, it looked the same as when I viewed it with the photo viewer.

Cannot logg in into router web-based setup

Ive tried installing my WRT54GS router with LELA but it says that it cannot detect my router, so I tried to configure on the web-base setup and when I try to go in the page it says that it cant find that page. If any one knows how to logg in into the router in a different way please let me know.

try few more settings ... disconnect the Mode from the router ... Reset the router fro few seconds ... make sure that while holding the Reset button the Power light should be blinking ....hold it for few seconds .... unplug -replug the power cable & release the reset .... what i understand from this is system does not identify v_data_array as array for some reasons, please help me.
initially system was giving error for hex_to_decimal, but i managed to get this function on discussion forum and now it seems to be ok. but v_data_array problem is still there.

Upload a file into Oracle database without using a temp file in the server.

Hello.
I need to upload a file into a Oracle database, but I have not permission to write a temp file in the aplication server. Because of this, I can't use a MultipartRequest object.
Does anybody know how to do this?

You can still use a MultiPart request.
Use the Apache FileUpload package.
Get the InputStream of the file being uploaded.
Now you can either store the file in memory by writing to a java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream or you can save the file to Oracle by writing it to a java.sql.Blob object using the Blob.setBinaryStream method. This Blob object can then be persisted to Oracle.
Unfortunately I don't have sample code readily available.

Insert JPG into Excel

I'm using MX7 and I create a JPG file using cfchart but I need to insert that JPG into excel with ColdFusion - how do I do it?
Cfchart is working and I'm saving the file to a location without a problem but can't figure out how to insert it into excel.

Nah, I only say that because I had to try to do something like this once and calling Excel via COM in a production environment... really doesn't work very well. Excel is a desktop app, and doesn't work well being used as a server-side app.
One could look to see if POI handles that sort of thing?
If not, from Excel save a sample of the end result as XML, and unpick the XML to work out what one has to do to recreate such a file dynamically, and then... do that.

Hi,
Often this error occurs because the TIFF file you have has been saved with some form of compression. You need to open in a picture edit program and save as TIFF making sure options are set so there is no compression.

Concerning the scope of my project, currently we just have a SAP system to be integrated into BW but in a few times we will get also other OLAP Tools to integrate in BW. Also my customer want to manage all the message processing with only one product if it's possible and currently he use SAP XI for it so that's why he want's to use XI between SAP and BW.
If i understand weel your answer, i can use XI without defining XML file in BW I can use standard extractor so XI just transfert IDOC receving from SAP to BW , it that right ?

My firefox (version 23 on win 7) crashed when upload file on our internal web based application. This happen on two PC, even in firefox safe mode the problem still exist.
