I need to vertify my email account but apple wont send the vertification email.

i need to vertify my email account but apple wont send the vertification email. They said they sent it but i have not recieved it yet and i cannot download any apps.

    After upgrading to IOS 7.0.3 the problems gone.
    There is no mention of this being a bug or a fix so im thinking a software glitch was the issue.
    When I look at a message in my inbox and it says "To: JB Manz" - I click my name and it shows my contact info including my 4 email addresses and the address the message was addressed to is highlighted blue, others all black.
    Not sure how it got fixed but it's working like it used to.

    I just got an iphone recently and I started my apple id using my gmail email address. I decided to change email from gmail to icloud so I setup an icloud email account and now I have two apple id accounts.  All my primary information is in the gmail apple id account and i just want to merge the two together.  I've tried changing the apple id on the main account to the icloud email, but it says it already exists.  How can I merge these two accounts without deleting one or the other?

    You can't merge iCloud accounts.
    You could move all your calendars contacts etc over from the account you don't want to the one you do, it's not simple but about all I can suggest.

    You have to go to SMTP settings for your email account and enter a password there. Sended and receiving are two different activities managed by 2 differet servers, and each may require a separate user ID and password.

  • Have multiple email a/cs' but apple mail sending all gmail emails from same account

    I have 3 gmail accounts and 2 pop3 a/cs' ( that are piggy backed by the isp to web based/imap email servers) and using Apple Mail.
    Emails are correctly received into the correct email address inbox.
    However, when I send an email and despite whichever email address I select in the ' From ' box on the Compose page, the emails are always sent from the same email address. This issue only affects the 3 gmail accounts, the other 2 are working ok.
    In Mail Prefs I have checked that the box " send new messages from " is marked " account of selected mailbox ".
    If I use gmail ' direct ' ( not via apple mail ) emails are sent from the correct account as I obviously have to sign into that particular account.
    It's as if I have a default email account from which all emails are sent but the settings seem to be to the contrary.
    Appreciative for any help and guidance.

    Solved issue by removing the gmail accounts and then reinstating them but giving the name assigned to the server in the description field, the same as the account name ie Gmail followed by email account name ( Mail Prefs > Account Information > Edit SMTP Server List then enter in description field accordingly ).
    Though you did'nt actually provide an answer you nevertheless caused me to think further for which I thank you.

  • We created an itunes connect ibooks account, but we never received the approval email. Now the EIN-number is 'blocked'

    We can't restart the process from the beginning, because apple says now, that our EIN-number is in use? Does anybody have a solution for this?

    Same thing happened when I signed up with an SSN, and never received an email. We then tried to create a different account but the SSN was already used.
    The only information I have learned in the last 3 weeks of email with the iTunes store is that they can't access your account, resend the email, or have the power to delete the account.
    They recommended contacting ibooks store "directly" at [email protected], but when I tried it seems to only forward to the iTunes store and I get the same answer.
    I managed to heighten the priority and received this: "Your inquiry is very important to me, so I have requested assistance with the issue you reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available.", that was 2 weeks ago.
    This has been a total of 1 Month, working on it. This should be a simple fix apple. I am very disappointed with the response to this issue.
    All I am asking is that apple delete my entire iTunes account, I don't have anything on it.

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I see that you are unable to access the apps found on the front panel of your Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer.
    I have included the Troubleshooting Print App Issues document.  One of the FAQs is “Print Apps launch slowly, lock up, crash, or a connection error message displays on the printer”.  It has a series of trouble shooting steps to take to resolve this.

    When trying to send emails, having configured my sky.com email account to Apple, I get the message 'cannot send message using the server smtp.tools.sky.com' (this is the outgoing server as instructed by my ISP). I have phoned my ISP and they appear not to be able to solve the problem (the instructions they provide on their website do not 'marry up' with the Apple screen displays when creating accounts!)

    Sorry - but (unless there is a sky mail user on this forum) the only people who have the information to help you ar the sky mail people - the information you need is very specific to their system and must come from the.
    Here is an excerpt from sky mail POP help - HAve you enabled POP? have you enabled SSL? have you set authentication?
    POP: I'm having problems sending mail.
    There are a few common reasons why Sky Email users may have trouble sending mail with Sky Email's POP feature. If you can't send mail, here's a troubleshooting checklist:
    +Have you enabled POP in your Sky Email account?+
    Open the Forwarding And POP tab on your Settings page and configure POP. After enabling POP in Sky Email, make sure you click Save Changes so Sky Email can communicate with your mail client.
    +Did you enable SSL for the SMTP server?+
    Make sure SSL is active for SMTP in your mail client. For more information, please review the configuration instructions for your specific client.
    +Did you set allow authentication for the SMTP server?+

    Does your Internet Service Provider block Port 25?
    Many ISPs block Port 25. If yours does, your mail client can't send messages to Sky Email's SMTP server. If you can receive mail, but not send mail, change your SMTP port to 465 (for SSL) or 587 (for TLS).
    Did you enter the correct username and password?
    Verify that your username is spelled correctly, and that you've entered '@sky.com'. Also, you should re-enter your password just to be sure it's correct.
    Are you trying to send attachments?
    As a security measure to prevent potential viruses, Sky Email does not allow you to send or receive executable files that could contain damaging executable code. Also note that with Sky Email, you can send and receive messages up to 10 megabytes (MB) in size.
    Still can't send mail?
    If you tried configuring your SMTP server on port 465 (with SSL) and port 587 (with TLS), but are still having trouble sending mail, try configuring your SMTP to use port 25 (with SSL).
