I need uninstall and reinstall Pages 05. How do I completely uninstall it?

I downloaded Pages 5 and it worked for a few days. Now it won't open. I get an error. How do I competely uninstall it and then reinstall. I've dragged the application to the trash, emptied the trash but App Store says it is still installed. Help!!

The App Store uses Spotlight to look for installed software; if you have a backup copy of the application anywhere that Spotlight might find it, it will still see the application as installed. Otherwise, moving the application to the Trash and emptying the Trash should be sufficient for getting a reinstall.
In the future, though, if an application has worked for a few days and then stopped working, reinstalling the application is unlikely to fix things, because the problem is most likely in some file that has been written since the application was installed (like a preference file, a font cache or a corrupt document) and once an application is installed, the application itself is only read (except for updates, which are pretty much a reinstall).

You might also be able to reinstall Lion without a flash drive, by booting up the computer holding the Command + R keys, and choosing Reinstall OS X.

If the phone is locked to a carrier then you will need the carrier to unlock it And only the carrier can do that.

Some websites are saying I need to enable cookies when it is enabled already. I already tried deleting the cookie, deleting all cookies, clearing my cache, and uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. How do I fix this?

I am trying to access my school's library database. When I log in to access the library, it tells me that the site needs to verify me by sending me a cookie. There's a link to log in again, but when I click it, it says "404 not found". My privacy settings already have cookies enabled, and I tried deleting the cookie and revisiting the site but the same thing happens. I am able to access the library on my iPod Touch, and I've tried other browsers on this compute and I can't access them on other browsers either. So it is clearly some issue with my computer that is preventing me from accessing this library. Can I uninstall and reinstall "Pages" without losing files?

My Pages program may be, ...IS, ...corrupted. (Maybe by a disgruntled co-worker?) When I type a client's name, Pages automatically misspells it. Same with my own name, and perhaps with other words I've not yet discovered.
I suppose I should uninstall and reinstall to see if the malware is limited to Pages or if it's a system-wide problem. But I don't know how to do that. I've never uninstalled a program and do not know what might happen to various files, if anything.
I've tried fixing the problem in the automatic "spell check" function.
Ideas? Advice?

Possibly, however, before you remove it try removing the preference files from the application These can be found in Users/yourname/Library/Preferences or /Library/Preferences. Since the autocorrect uses the dictionary found in Users/yourname/Library/Spelling, you may want to see if the dictionary was corrupted as well. If it is system-wide you should see it in other locations such as Numbers or if you are using Lion you will see it in Safari as well.
If you don't see the preference files also check both /Library/Application Support, and Users/yourname/Library/Application Support.

How can I remove and reinstall pages?

I went into the applications folder and deleted pages, then emptied the trash can so it's no longer on my system. However, when I go into the app store and pull it up under past purchases, it just says "open" instead of download. I either need help figuring out what file I need to delete that makes the app store think pages is still or installed, or need help forcing the app store to re-download pages anyway. Unfortunately using the option button doesn't do anything, however I did figure out that I needed to delete the shortcut from launchpad in addition to simply removing it from applications. After doing that, the app store figured out I didn't have it installed and let me re-download it. Thank you for responding to my question

Firefox crashes a few times when I was on Facebook and with email, also watching dramas online. Most of the time due to Adobe Flash and I did submit crash report. Later it crashes for unknown reason while I have email and Facebook on different tabs -- when I was on the tab of email, it looks system hang and not responding. This happened to my laptop that uses Windows Vista as I noticed. I don't remember it ever happens to my desktop that uses Windows XP.
It's pretty annoying of such known crash, but before removing Firefox, I did try to update all add-ons or plugins and it looks like doesn't work out. After updating for couple times and it still crashed like that, I removed Firefox and reinstall it.

On every website, my right vertical scroll bar is missing and all of my Toolbar bookmarks unless I minimize the window, click "view" and "full page." How do i get it back to NORMAL?

When I hit "full page" the right vertical scroll bar re-appears, but my bookmark toolbars, my bing bar, and pretty much the entire top 2 inches of my screen disappears. When all of these things are showing, the right vertical scroll bar disappears, and the entire webpage shifts to the right, so I can't see most of the right side of the page. How do I fix this?

How do I get my in app purchases back after deleting and reinstalling an app. Specifically for the picture making app WOWFXHD ! I hade to delete the app because there was a glitch causing it to instantly close out while in the middle of working on a picture. All progress would be lost. I deleted the app thinking reinstalling it would fix the bug. It did not fix it at all. Still closing shut and losing all work done. I made quite a few in app purchases and now don't have them on the newly installed app. I downloaded it from the purchased tab in App Store by clicking the download arrow inside the cloud symbol like I read to do . What can I do now?

All of the apps with in app purchases that I have also have a method somewhere within the app to 'restore purchases'. I don't know about your specific app but you could look for such a method.

Trying to uninstall and reinstall iTunes

A number of my past files are no longer playing fully. Some cut-out. Others don't come in until well into the song. This seemed to occur after I upgraded iTunes to 6.0.4. Now, my purchased songs are not uploading fully even though the bar on the screen indicates it did. ITunes proposed that the application may need to be reinstalled.
#1 How do I UNinstall iTunes so that ALL of the old application is gone?

I eventually went to an Apple Genius Bar after not resolving the problem through either iTunes or Apple.
The answer was to simply 'deauthorize' my computer and reauthorize it. Problem solved!
