I need urgent help! I may have accidentally deleted everything on my friends computer!
Okay so my friend asked me to watch his house while he was away. He told me that I was welcome to use his computer or anything else in there. I went to log on to his iMac, but all the accounts were locked! So I searched for a way to get in (with my phone, online) and I found a process with the following steps:
1. Reboot
2. Hold apple + s down after you hear the chime.
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
* mount -uw /
* rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
* shutdown -h now
4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and you’re good to go again!
I did not plan on deleting the old one, I just wanted to create a new one. But after following these steps the computer went into setup mode as if it was just being started for the first time out of the box! Please, I really need your help because e has important files on the computer that he did not back up anywhere and I hope I didn't delete everything! He is upset with me already, but said we would be alright if I found a way to fix it. I really need your help, please answer as fast as possible!!

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

Have you ever done a hard factory reset of your Airport Express base? If not, then try it. Push down the reset button with a pen, then keep it depressed as you plug AX into the wall and keep holding it down until the green light blinks 4 times and then turns amber. Then let go. Unplug your broadband modem for a couple of minutes and shut down your Mac. First restart the modem, then the Mac. Use Airport Setup Assistant to set up a new network from scratch.
In System Prefs > Network > Show > Network Port Configurations drop n drag Airport to the top of the list and deselect all port configurations that you do not use.

oznaw, to be honest, I believe you will need to perform a master reset in order to recover the missing Bluetooth data, as there is nothing really available in the Play Store that just updates the Bluetooth profiles/data. I get ORA-12500 error when trying to connect oracle instance. This problem begin to arise only when number of sessions reach a number about 200. At the same time there is no definite boundary for it. Once it happened when there were 216 session, then 196, then 206.
There rarely (1/100) I get ORA-12514 and after again ORA-12500. Once I got ORA-12600.
What it might be you think? It can't be a problem in listener.ora or in tnsnames.ora because it works fine if number of sessions is about 100. It tried to restart tnslistener (from lsnrctl and the service) and restarted database (but not the service). I did it different in sequences, but didn't help. What should I do? There is not enough info to go on but the problem seems to be either in the listener.ora

Need urgent help! - I accidentally sync my friend's iphone account to my company's iphone. I could not switch back to my own icloud account because of the icloud password i enter was incorrect. My friend does not use this icloud account since age only remember 1 password which i already try but iphone shown that " incorrect password" I checked on icloud ID and try to log in but it shown as " You Apple ID was disable for security reason. my video looks fine in my computer, but when i send my .mov video to encore (cs6) in a HD MENU and standard menú, the image sucks.
i have done the transcoding in encore, but i doesnt work either. i dont know what else to do. -
I use CineXplayer on my iPad (2) and today have started getting an error message stating I don't have permission to copy files from my hp pavilion 6 across to my iPad. I think I may have accidentally disabled iTunes Helper, but it is running in Task Manager.
I have removed iTunes and re installed.That's a comment in the file. It has no effect at all.

I can't find that model. If you open System Profiler in the Utilities folder look for the Model Identifier over in the right hand display. What do you find for the model ID? If your computer supports Internet Recovery here's what to do:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer. If Mavericks is not installed, then you can reinstall it by re-downloading the Mavericks installer.
You will need to use Boot Camp Assistant in order to create a new Windows partition, then reinstall Windows. -

Do you have a Time Machine backup or clone? If not,
all is lost if you have in fact deleted your OSX partition
and you will have to do a reinstall from Recovery HD
and install all else. -

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
You may be advised by others to try to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name, or by running "utilities" that purport to remove software. I don't give such advice. Those tactics often will not work and maymake the problem worse. -
When I try to download them from the Waterstones website I get a message saying:
‘Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library. Do you want to associate them now? When I reply yes I get another message; ‘Configuration error unable to update EPUB files check network firewall and try again’.
The ‘books’ are saved in the Download directory and I can’t transfer them from there to my E-Reader. I have not had any problems before, it was very simple; I saved the download and it automatically went into the Reader Library.
I contacted HP and they said it is a software error and suggested I contact Waterstones. I contacted Waterstones Customer Support and got the following response:
As the error message is specifically mentioning the firewall it does sound like something in the firewall settings is stopping the download from taking place correctly. However, the files should not be being saved to the Download folder. It would be worth trying again by going to your Digital Order History on your Waterstones.com account and pressing the download button, and then making sure to press "Open" not "Save". When you press Open rather than Save it should give the option to open the file with Adobe Digital Editions. If the firewall message still comes up then I'm afraid something is blocking it on your end.
If the above "Open" download method works but you then still get an error message it could possibly be that you have accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up on the new computer, rather than signing in with your old Adobe ID. It would be worth trying the aforementioned download technique again first, but if problems did still persist it would be worth calling Adobe themselves on 0207 365 0735, as they should be able to sort out any account issue.
In response to the first para of Waterstones email I already do what they suggest I do press ‘Open’ not ‘Save’ but I don’t get the open with Adobe Digital Editions (we have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer. Waterstones say we may have ‘accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up the new computer’ does that mean that we shouldn’t have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer as it would have already been there? How do I sign in with my old Adobe ID?Hi all after attampting to get some supoport from adobe by phone.... nice people infurating policys as far as support for digital editions or DRM is conserned... However I got no where with support.
I ended up instaling Digital editions on my desktop PC and going through the motions of registering and borrowing a book then returning it. Then I trying on my iPad, Bluefire worked, Over drive did not so I completely removed Overdrive and reinstalled and re registered. all working now.
Maybe some one at adobe did something. Maybe the install of the adobe DE client on a PC corrected what ever was out of wack with my account. Mayby the server that my account lives on did a scan disk and corrected a bad clustrer.
What ever happend My account is actiove and working again. hope this helps others. -

Need urgent help !You can use the presentation variables to pass the value of the prompt into the report or any column formula.
In the dashboard prompt you see an option called "Set Variable" where and you need to give a name to the variable.(Say Var_value)
Now the value of the variable can be simply referenced using the syntax @{var_name}{10}. Here '10' being the defualt value which is optional you can simply reference using @{var_name} and you have the value of the prompts passed.

Hi everyone,
I need urgent help regarding HSDIO hardware timing. I've been working in a project which generating serial ramp using HSDIO pxie device.
I'm using clock rate 40MHz and generating 14 bit of boolean for each step of ramp. And I have to generate simply 256 steps ramp.
Which means, 256 (steps) x 14 (boolean array) x 25 ns (period of 1 boolean value) = 89,6 ns.
What I'm doing right now is with using index of FOR loop as my input data (converting the index into 14bit boolean), then write into pxie device in every iteration,
which means, my data is getting into output in every 1ms time, right? (I'm using windows)
And I want to be able to generate faster than that.
How can I prewrite my 256 steps ramp, then write them all at once into pxie device. I'm really stuck here.
In the picture can you see how I do the write into device in every iteration of FOR Loop.

with using example of dynamic generation with script, I can manage to generate the ramp with controllable delay (generate the whole waveform, including delay with script command, then write to the card).
But I still have 1 question, I can test the output of the generation using oscilloscope and cant see the start delay (I'm writing delay at the start, before generating the ramp). My signal generated at 0 sec.
How can I check this start delay? is there any good example delivered with Labview to check this generation? Somehow I cant use the "dynamic generation and acquisition" example to see my generation (cant figure out how to capture the generated signal).
