I purchased a macbook pro retina in December 2014 , Yosemite original . I need instead of Mavericks 10.9.5 to use protools 10. I do not know how to download the installer of mavericks . My girlfriend has a macbook pro retina instead of 2013 with Mavericks . I might download to you by your computer the installer on a USB 16-gigabyte , but we do not know where to find the installer of mavericks on his computer . Can you help ?
Either connect a regular external drive to the older MacBook Pro or use the Disk Utility to partition the new one's internal drive, connect the two computers through FireWire or Thunderbolt, restart the new one with the T key held down, start the older one from the recovery partition(press the Command and R keys at startup), and install the OS.
If you're actually able to download the installer from the Mac App Store, you can use it instead of restarting from the recovery partition.

ThanksIt is a question of formats. That drive probably is formatted for Windows. You will have to reformat it to ExFAT on the PC, then it will work both on the Mac and the PC.

Either they're being sent to a different email address, or got caught in a spam filter, or something's wrong at Apple's end. If you can't find the email, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions, which can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.

When trying use any Creative Cloud product on opening an application it attempts to verify my subscription "Membership Expired". I click the button "Try Again" and it says "Thank you, your Creative Cloud is now active. Click Continue to use your product." Clicking continue takes me back to the Member Expired prompt. My account and subscription are both active and current.

My Time Capsule is giving me a warning that double NAT situation is occurring and recommends that I set it to bridge mode What is all this about please can it be explained in layman's terms and not martian thank you.
You have two devices....the Netgear and Time Capsule both configured to act as routers on the network. You only want one device providing this service.
I suggest that you configure the Time Capsule in Bridge Mode as suggested to eliminate the Double NAT error. Unfortunately, the Guest Network cannot be enabled in this setting.
No other adjustments are needed and everything else will operate normally...and the Time Capsule will still be providing your wireless network signal.
Once the Time Capsule is configured in Bridge Mode, it would be an excellent idea to perform a complete power cycle on the network to allow things to reset properly.
Just power off all devices on the network in any order that you want
Wait a minute
Start the Netgear device first, and let it run a minute by itself
Start the Time Capsule next the same way
Continue starting devices one at a time the same way until everything is powered backup
The other option you have is to "ignore" the error and the light will turn green. The Double NAT error may...or may not cause some issues for you down the line. The next time that you update the Mac operating system, or update the firmware in the Time Capsule, it may likely change the Time Capsule to Bridge Mode automatically.
If your Guest Network "disappears", you will know why this happened, and you will have to manually configure the Time Capsule again in Router Mode to provide DHCP and NAT services.
Double NAT can also cause a slow down of web page loading. You may...or may not....notice this. -

You need to discard or save to an external disk and then discard some of the stuff we all tend to keep forever (movies, music, pictures, docs, apps no longer used, etc.). A clogged up disk also does not function ideally either.

I guess you could try but I don't believe Apple can help with activation lock issues. They may, however, be able to determine if the Apple ID belongs to one of you and reset the password for you if you can prove your identity.
You might want to try calling Apple by going to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. Perhaps they can help determine if it's your ID and reset the password for you (and they probably have more expertise in doing this than the Apple store).
