I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

I have updated to Mozilla 16.0.1 and yahoo toolbar 2.4.8.20120412011105. Search assist now no longer works on the toolbar, nor does the enter key. I've reinstalled both Mozilla and the yahoo toolbar. I've followed the instructions given in the customize toolbar section, but I am thinking that perhaps this toolbar just doesn't work with Mozilla?

I cannot download Google or Yahoo toolbars. It says Firefox could not install file there is an error 203, what does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

I have Firefox 3.6.16, I upgraded to Firefox 4 but there were many conflicts with Kaspersky so went back to 3.6.16 which is fine but I cannot get Google nor Yahoo toolbars to load. I have tried several times and the same thing happens. I have another computer that I did the same thing with but both toolbars loaded on it.

im sorry to be a bit thick here i didnt know this was happening until i looked through all my photoes i use an sd card to put pictures on lap top and icloud from my phone but in library there are all web pages i have ever been to ie face book ebay etc i didnt know if there was any thing i should be turning off many thanks for ur last answer though

Do you mean the Bookmarks Menu button on the Navigation Toolbar?
You only see that button if the menu bar is hidden.

Updated to Firefox 5, and now my Yahoo Toolbar won't show any of the buttons.

I delayed updating to Firefox, because V3 worked so well and V4 sucked. But as a security concern, I finally made the upgrade and discovered my Yahoo Toolbar isn't working properly.
The Toolbar is there, but the buttons I've all added are gone. I can't make changes in preferences, the toolbar is enabled... I just have no buttons.
I've upgraded to the most recent Toolbar, which was supposed to work with Firefox 5... but it doesn't.

Google analytics is a service for webmasters which collects statistics about usage of their websites. Not sure how that would affect website users - unless you installed a GA extension. If you got it, it can be uninstalled just like the other two extensions.

I had to uninstall Firefox for diagnostic reasons on my Dell desktop, and am having hundreds of issues with shortcuts now. I want to get it perfectly operational with IE, then switch back to Firefox

I was having minor registry issues after switching to Firefox, and Dell suggested going back to IE to see if that cured the problem. Upon uninstalling Mozilla, and reinstalling IE, none of the desktop shortcuts worked in fact, a partial window opened, and locked up the screen. Dell suggested contacting you to find out if maybe the uninstall did not work completely.
Any suggestions?

It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." It's simply not worth it to spend so much time trying to make the thing work, so I can actually do something. Installed, removed, reinstalled numerous times, and I can't fix your software on my Win 7 Pro machine. No problems with IE or Chrome. So. as much as I hate Google Update, Chrome has won the test. Sad, sad day for me to lose Firefox, but it just does not work on the Win 7 machine. I don't have the same issues with the XP machine and have exactly all the same add-ons. Keep it up developers and you will have no Win 7 users at all.

First off....do NOT install MacKeeper! It creates more problems than it prevents, and is a royal pain to get rid of once you realize this.
What I would do, since it sounds like you don't want to reorganize your email filing by the use of Smart Mailboxes, is to simply use the search box at the top of the Mail window to find only the emails you want to delete....then select them all and delete them. For example, if you wanted to delete all of the emails from [email protected], you would type that into your search box, which will filter your inbox to only show you emails from [email protected] Then Select All, and delete them. You haven't deleted any others....only those from that person.
Then clear the search box to see the rest of your emails again.
Repeat this process to delete emails from other senders you no longer need.
(Once you've selected them all, by the way, you can control-click one if you need to save it).
