I no longer have the option to "Send an Error Report" to Apple?

After installing Mountain Lion last week, my apps are crashing like crazy. Why do I no longer get the dialog that asks me if I want to send the error report to Apple?

No setting that does not enable automatic sending. Click the question mark at the bottom of the preference page for a description.
You will be bale to set how you want the reports sent for an app to automatically, manually or never.
Set reporting options
If an app quits unexpectedly, or you must force an app to quit or must restart your computer, you’ll be offered the opportunity to collect information about the problem and send it to Apple.
If you choose to send the data to Apple, you can then specify any one of the reporting options for future information collection:
Automatic reporting
No reporting
Ask each time
Automatic reporting of diagnostic and usage information is off by default, and occurs only if you have given consent.To select automatic reporting: When prompted, make sure “Don’t ask me again” is selected, and then click OK.After you click OK, automatic reporting of diagnostic and usage information begins, and information is periodically sent to Apple anonymously. You will not be prompted again unless you deselect “Send diagnostic & usage data to Apple” in the Privacy pane of Security & Privacy preferences.To select no reporting: When prompted, make sure “Don’t ask me again” is selected, and then click No Thanks. No information is sent to Apple.To select ask each time: When prompted, deselect “Don’t ask me again.” You then have the option to agree or disagree each time a diagnostic event described above occurs.

But for this to work at all you have to have the checkbox checked.

I understand since updating to Win8 you don't have the "no scaling" option available.
Did you uninstall and reinstall the printer after doing the Windows upgrade?

The iOS settings for the iPhone 3 never had an option to determine how long you wanted to save messages. That settings is new to iOS8. As far as some being deleted, there is nothing about the phone that should delete messages without some user intervention. Try a reset on the phone, this will not affect your data. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot.

I have a photosmart plus B209a but when I scan into my PC i only have the option of sending it to p

B209a when I scan a document into my computer I only have the option of sending it into my pictures, I cannot send it to documents or to Adobe reader. As this is not something I need very often but once in awhile I need to convert a document into PDF format but now I cannot do that and I do not want to pay for Adobe reader in order to covert into PDF.
I used to be able to scan and send it in Email but now I cannot even do that even if I save it as a file.
Any suggestions please. My computer is pavilion Elite HPE 150f using IE8 windows 7 64 bit purchased last April.

I had a nasty problem a week or so ago (nothing to do with your issue). I decided to reset the iPad back to factory level. I then restored it using a backup that I had made before the problem. Turns out that I did not need to do that but,......finally getting to the point , I started with 7.2 GB free and wound up with 8.4 GB free. I did not lose anything and I have no clue what caused me to recover that space. In any event, I am babbling on about this in case it might be of help to you.
Oh, I do know some apps cache stuff, but very few allow you to clear that cache.

I've resolved my problem now. It wasn't iphoto: preferences:@ that I needed but iphoto:preferences:general where there is the option to choose email for sending photos. Can't believe I missed that before.

This is actually based on how the site handles different file types; Hotmail gives it to the browser as "application/octet-stream" or something like it, whereas sites that properly open it in the browser tag it as "application/pdf". Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this without setting up a proxy to rewrite the HTTP headers.
