I only ever activated one license for cs5 mac. Stuck using PC now. Help please.
Now I'm using a Wacom companion, and forced to operate windows on it. Isn't there something I can do or someone I can talk to in order to gain access on both operating systems?
A CS5 mac license is only for a Mac and cannot be exchanged for a PC. One way out is to upgrade for $200 to CS6 and order a free Platform swap to PC.

You get Photoshop as part of the deal and can move between PC and Mac as much as you like. $10 monthly or $120 annual. All future upgrades and versions part of the deal.

Per the licensing: when I buy a copy I can install it on two PCs OR two Macs, but not one of each, correct? I personally think this is a bit ridiculous and refuse to buy two copies.

However, does that mean that I can use it on both, as long as they aren't running at the same time, or that I must choose to install one or the other?
I am willing to buy the volume license (though a bit more expensive), but I absolutely refuse to buy two licenses.

I don't think you have to buy backup discs unless you personally need them, although they're only $20 apiece anyway and not a bad idea to have -

KAdobe CC or any perpetual previous version allows you to install & activate it two times (on the same computer or other different one).
As per End user license agreement, only one computer can be used at one given time.

No. Serial numbers are platform specific and you can't have both with a single license. Only Creative Cloud is cross-platform.

As far i bought one license through the app store, using my apple id.
There was no option to change number of the licenses.
According to FCPX license, if i need to use four instances of FCPX in the same time i need licens for each of them.

No, you only need to buy 1 license for one of the systems. Then you can go to another system in your household, login to the App Store with the same login you used previously, download/install Lion for that system and so on.

Hello CS Community: I am about to renew my CS cloud subscription for one year. My current subscription is for one user for both Mac (and) PC. When I renew, how do I know I'm getting a subscription for both my MAC and my PC? It's not clear what is included in the purchase. I'm choosing the 49.00 a month package. The Creative Cloud subscription is not OS specific as it's licensed via your Adobe ID.
You can purchase a single subscription and use it on 2 machines irrespective of it being Windows or Mac.

I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

The censorship in regards to certain apps not being available in your country is by your country, not by Apple.
Due to various laws and licensing in each country, in order to have an iTunes store account in a particular country you must have a credit card with a billing address in that country. If this were up to Apple, there would be no such requirement and there would be only one iTunes store for the entire world, but various laws, regulations, and licensing issues in each country, this is required by Apple. -
WRT54GL V 1.1 : how to reserve IP for specific MAC address using DHCP
My !free! made in China router have this functionality. And yet I have been banging my head with this new reasonably expensive wireless router from Linksys. Anyway I lug my notebook around. I need my home router to be able to automatically configure notebook IP address using DHCP. At the same time I need the ip given by home router through DHCP to be the same IP all the time. So "static" ip is not the solution. Alternative "static" ip is also not a solution. Anything with the word "static" in it is not a solution. I know about third party firmware (wrt or tomato) and I know WRT54GL can be flashed with this third party firware. But I'm not going to void my warranty. This will be my last option but not the solution that I seek. I would like to know how to reserve ip for specific mac address using DHCP for WRT54GL V1.1. If this version have no way to make such configuration, I would like to know if there is official firmware upgrade that address this. Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine. -
