I open firefox and i cant get any page to come up, my explorer works but i dont want to use that

when i open ffox it doesnt even come to hm page, i cant navigate. it shows this

i have checked my firewall and stuff like that there are no restrictions on firefox on my computer

Opening in the side bar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.<br />
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the side bar (Ctrl+B; Cmd+B on Mac).<br />
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.<br />
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the side bar" is not selected.<br />

I'm not 100% sure what are you trying to achieve or what's the issue, but I will try.
It seems that you want to work with Firefox at your home computer while your work computer is on. I'm not sure if you want to use the information from your work computer or not. If so, you should look at Firefox Sync: [[What is Firefox Sync?]]
If the only thing you want is to open and use Firefox but not use the information that your work computer has, your issue is about the connection. I will invite you to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox (www.mozilla.org/firefox) and try [[Safe Mode]] if that helps.

SwiftKey Keyboard crashes every time i try to fill a textfield in a website (i test some different sites). But it works if i use the standartkeybord from android, but i dont want to use any other key than SwiftKey. Please BugFix the problem.

Every time i try to fill a textfield on a homepage swiftkey crashes. But i can type in a internet-adress without any problems. If i use any other Keybord all work fine, but i dont want to use any other Keybord than SwiftKey.

Things you could try:
Restart your PC.
Try a different browser.
Failing that, get a friend to download the installer for you and put it on a USB memory stick for you.

hey guys i need your help! my ipad 3 has gone blank. i have been able to restart it by pressing down on both keys but now it wont work. the screen illuminates and i still get notifications but its just a black screen. i tried to restore it on itunes but it tells me to turn off find my phone app. well i cant do thay because i cant access my ipad. i am so frustrated! my ipad is only 1.5 years old so its still fairly new. can anyone tell me how to delete the app on my laptop? i have tried but no success yet. when i go into my icloud account i cant find anywhere that says to turn off or delete find my phone. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Clicking on a link does not open firefox and take me to the page when firefox is my default browser but does when Internet Explorer is my default browser, what is wrong?

All of a sudden (I think after the last firefox update) links in other web pages won't open firefox to access the page when firefox is my default browser but works when I change my default browser to Internet Explorer and I can't figure out why. Help!!!

This problem just arose for me today. Very frustrating. Tried all of the suggestions here without success. Then a very simple solution came to me:
UNINSTALL CHROME. I haven't used Chrome for a long while anyway since it seems to have chronic problems of one sort or another. Firefox does 95% of what I need, and Internet Explorer can handle the other 5%.
After uninstalling Chrome I clicked a mailto link. It asked me what program to use and did not list Firefox as an option for some reason. In the Tools menu, I chose "Options" and went to the "Applications" tab. Searched for "mailto". There was a single entry - when Chrome was installed it gave me no options to switch. After uninstalling Chrome I was able to change that. It still did not list Firefox, but it did list "Gmail". Selecting that causes my Gmail to open in Firefox.
I have no idea whether Google or Microsoft is responsible for this, but I'm inclined to give the hairy eyeball to Google for this one. It's the sort of stunt they'd pull on Microsoft, then pretend it was just a mistake. Just one guy's opinion, of course.
