I opened an account recently and set up auto-pay.  Yesterday I received a voicemail from verizon saying I'm past-due and threatening to cut my phone off.  I have received no other communication at all, no bill, no text, and my auto-pay is not auto-paying.

Your current bill will need to be paid manually. You'll receive an email alert prior to your next bill due date, advising when the payment will be withdrawn from your account.     I have never heard of that before, if Verizon Wireless would do anything with your account they would be calling you (removed). In my opinion you should disregard the email.

    Hi, While writing an email online using Firefox 3.6.3, I was using one of the "CTRL+left or right arrow" to move the cursor along the text. I must have pressed some other key because the display has become huge - and I can't scroll vertically or horizontally, which makes using the Mail pages of Hotmail impossible. I have since logged in using MSFT Explorer and it works fine. This problem occurs only on the Mail page of Hotmail Live not on the home page or others.
    Could you please let me know if this is a problem with Firefox, or if you have any advice on how to reset the appearance of Hotmail in Firefox?

    Don't be surprised. I received this same notice but verizon has almost no way for a person to find the answer easily. Plus there are several charges on my bill that are on the web page that link to the contract. The links go no where! !
    If they are going to charge something they need to find a way for people to know what is being charged.
    An Iphone6 was upgraded on October 6 under the Edge program. The charge was added almost immediately and appeared on the October 12 billing cycle. The older phone was returned to them under the Verizon Edge plan and it was received by verizon on the 13th of October. That credit has still not been applied to our account. It took them a matter of minutes to charge us for the new IPhone 6 but so far they have not been able to apply the credit for the edge return after eight days. All the links to this transaction are dead and there are no records on the verizon billing site to back up the charges. The message today is the first 'hint' that there may be a charge coming but no mention of the credit.

    Apple will not ask you to click a link in an email. They may tell you to log in to your account to reset your password. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and log in if you ever want to change any information in your profile (or your password). And do not click the link I just posted; instead enter it into a browser.
    You can verify the devices assigned to your account by going to https://icloud.com/find (again, don't click it), where you can see a list of devices registered to your Apple ID.
    As a general rule, you should never click a link in an email or forum post without verifying it first. You can see where it goes without clicking it in most email programs and browsers by hovering your mouse pointer over it. On an iPhone you can check where it goes by holding your finger on the link (rather than just tapping it).

  • Have iphone 4, after new update all my apps were deleted and photos

    i have the iphone 4, when downloading music to my phone the software updated to iOS 5.0.1.  It deleated all of my apps and my photos, etc. Any idea where to find all of my "stuff'. 

    You can also restore from iTunes or iCloud backup if you have one.

  • Does anyone know what triggers the switch between text and iMessage in the middle of a conversation? Are there any differences in billing between text and iMessage?

    In the middle of a text conversation between another iOS 5.0 iPhone user and myself, the conversation elements switched back and forth several times between Text and iMessage. The phone actually tracked it and put little lines indicating the switch, and my comments changed from green to blue and back again. I can't think of anything I changed in the middle of the conversation. I was outside WiFi range, using the Cell network at the time. Now I tried it again, while i'm on WiFI and the messages are Text (green) again.

    1. Windows 8.1 Enterprise w Update is the best. It allows you for sideloading in corporate environment without additional tools and licenses.

    3. Profesional is fine, but you will need some tools to achieve the same functionality that you have in "pack" Enterprise.
    4. VL is volume license, a type of license for multiple computers (to say it simply)

    6. Attached to MSDN are licenses or at least references to web resources. Read license agreements carefully and let your installation and use follow the license.

The e-mail has some prices on it, such as a new Droid X for $99.99 (2 Year Price: 199.99, online discount -$50.00, exclusive discount -$50.00). The e-mail clearly indicates (by use of the last 4 digits of my phone number) which phone on my contract the offer is good for. When I click on the link in the e-mail, it takes me over to the VZW website, where I enter my username and password. Once I do that, the Droid X is priced at $149.99 (instead of $99.99), and there is NO $50 discount applied to any other phones. I called Verizon's customer service, and got the run around. One CS Rep told me I wasn't eligible for a new phone (then why the e-mail?), and then told me that another line on my contract was eligible for a upgrade. When I check into upgrades on that line, however, the prices are the same as on the first line). I asked to speak to a customer service supervisor, and had to wait an hour before one called back. He also didn't know anything about the e-mail, and implied that I was lying about it.... He asked me to fax the e-mail to him, and then stated it would take several DAYS for him to even get the fax, let alone get back to me. It is my expectation that I will never hear from the Verizon supervisor about this, and will never have the chance to take advantage of this offer. This is CRAPPY customer service! I have been a VZW customer for about 15 years, and have several smartphones ($$$ per month total) on my account. I'm beginning to run out of reasons not to jump ship when my contracts end. I'd like someone from VZW who has a clue what they're doing to contact me...but I'm not holding my breath!

    It sounds like this is a standard email for when your NE2 upgrade is available. That would be where the extra $50 comes from. Unfortunately, if the email literally says "Save up to $50 on already discounted phones" that does not guarantee a full $50 off. I can understand your frustration that you got the email in the first place when your line isn't eligible for an upgrade, but Verizon is most likely trying to get you to use the upgrade on the line that is eligible. I'm not saying that is exactly what's happening, but everytime I contacted customer service or went in the store, they tried to get me to use one of my line's upgrades for my own line, which I did not want.

  • The icons in the bookmark tool bar are blank and the text that use to be below the icon is gone. I now have to cursor over the blank icons to see the text and the one I want. Can the icon/text customization be returned?

    In the Navigation Toolbar, the icons "Back", "Forward" etc. show the small icon and the descriptive text below the Icon. My Bookmark Toolbar use to have the same icon/text format but at some point, possibly a browser update, that changed. Currently, I do have a visible Bookmark Toolbar BUT the icons do not show the website icon, as previously, and the text below each icon is gone. I an cursor over each icon and the text becomes visible next to the icon. This is a bit of a pain to find a bookmark. Can I do a customization to return to the icon/text format.
    Was this changed because browser users requested this option, or was it an internal decision.? If the later why make such changes when not requested?

    That wasn't a change in Firefox. It sounds like something is broken in your Firefox installation, or you are misunderstanding the different between the Bookmarks Toolbar and the other Toolbars.
    In the Bookmarks Toolbar the text appears next to the website icon, not below the icon as with the other two Toolbars, and it's not switchable between text and no text as with the other Toolbars. With both the bookmark icon and the Bookmark name missing, something is broken in your installation. You need to do a little troubleshooting.

    Be aware that if you delete the "places.sqlite" and similar files, your bookmark website icons won't automatically appear (the JSON backups don't have that icon data) when you restart Firefox and the places.sqlite is rebuilt using the backup data file, but the icons should be saved the first time each bookmark is used for the first time.
