Or else i has to cancel the order? please provide your valuable comments on this.

I cancelled my preorder when the available date changed from September 21 to October. I will wait until it is in the Apple retail store. I want to see the demo and evaluate iOS 6. Too many iOS 6 issues to do a pig in a poke on this one.
If the device is not available until the end of October I'll wait until Black Friday and enjoy the discount. I will visit the Apple Store that day to purchase my gift to self items :)

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. No price difference. The only advantage is that you'll be able to receive the new version possibly before it hits store shelves. Other than that, there really isn't any.

My imac G5 is old, but still works beautifully! I just bought the ipod touch, 5th generation and itunes wants a version (10.7) that I cannot get on their site! Any ideas? I tried hooking the ipod up to the ipad (2nd), but I get no reaction whatsoever! Do I have to return this ipod?

iTunes 10.7 requires an Intel Mac and isn't compatible with yours.

I have an iPod touch 5th generation replacement from the Apple Store, and the display is slightly yellow compared to "new" or floor models. There are also some areas where the yellowing is more obvious than others. Is it possible to get this replaced at an Apple Store?
I have read other posts where the yellow tint goes away within a week or so. I have had this problem for months.

To activate you have to enter the ID and password last used for Settings>iCloud. In most cases the Apple ID is used for Settings>iCloud but not always.

Apple have never accepted trade-ins agains the cost of a new device. You will need to sell the one you bought and apply the proceeds to the model you want.
