I ordered Pages with my Mac but it is not on my mac
I cant find anyway to get it. all it says on the appstore is i cant update it because i havent owned a full version. but i added it on the my bill when ordering to be included.. very confused pleaseeee help

For App Store, Apple asks you to authenticate yourself so that your activity can be synced between your iPhone and computer and so that you can download apps (including games). Other apps ask for you to authenticate for a number of other reasons.
Are you sure your using the proper username and password combination for the prompt? Especially when first starting to use the keyboard, you might find that typing on the iPhone takes some getting used to. You might think that you're typing the proper password while accidentally mistyping by one character. -
Can there be more than one icloud account on a computer? I have an icloud account with my iphone but would like to view my photo stream on my husbands mac. I do not have a mac but an older PC. thanks
Welcome to the Apple community.
The simple answer is yes you can. On a single user computer, the user can have secondary iCloud accounts, which they can add through the system preferences > mail, contacts and calendars. The only drawback here is that only the primary iCloud account can use photo stream. This can be worked around by having a second user account on the Mac. Each user account could then have a different primary iCloud account, one for you and one for him, your account could then receive your photo stream pictures.
Are you also aware that you can have iCloud on your PC and download your photos stream pictures to it. -

the above problem is sorted with help of workflow and basis consultant as in SWU3 RFC destination was not enabled,
as now it is enabled, workflow is getting triggered but after creating distribution package it is generating error saying no receipient found,
the mail is not reaching the SAP INBOX,
Kindly let me know whether i missing any config. -
I had the geek squad from bestbuy supposedly install iphoto 11 on my mac but it is not there and when i try to download it it say the app has been download by another user on this machine. What do i need to do get get this app on my system? If they could not do it right the first time I do not have much faith in their advice.
Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).

I've reset my PPAM before to get around Firmware lock, but I've upgraded to mountain lion and now need to do the same thing, but I can't reset the PRAM. I've heard of the chip that is on the post 2011 macs, but I must not have one? What to do? Also, I can not get start up chimes unless I have the factory startup disk in. Can the PRAM be reset with the factory startup disk in or must the mac boot from the hard drive? Need help.

i just bought a new mac book pro 13'' and i bought a toshiba 1tb hard drive aswell, i formatted it to mac but it will not show up on my tv so i can watch movies? and solutions or reasons why?
TVs don't support "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", so you will probably have to use FAT32. To format the external drive, follow the same steps as you did to format it with "Mac OS Extended (Journaled), but in the erasing screen, select "MS-DOS (FAT)" as "Format". Note that FAT32 isn't compatible with files bigger than 4 GB. Also, you may have to format the external drive in a PC

Sony RX2 is supported in ACR7.2 and higher whereas PSE10 can go as high as ACR6.3
Thus you wont be able to open your raw files directly into ACR. You might want to download DNG convertor(version 7.2 or higher) and use it to convert your raw files to a different raw format (.dng) which is supported by all ACR versions.

Until last July, the model identifier on every Intel Mac would tell you exact minimum and maximum expansion in terms of RAM, retail operating system, and any system specific required firmware updates, video and audio expansion capabilities, and patches for Wifi available. The serial number is only of consequence if you wish to date a Mac down to the week. This can help in determining system specific disks, available warranty, and exchange/repair program eligibility. Outside of that the year and month can usually be narrowed down to a six month period with model identifier alone on all except MacPros. So my question is, is it really that relevant for your needs?
