I own a Verizon account with both myself and my friend on the account. My contract is up but his is not, and we both have similar phones (S3 and S4). Would it be possible to cancel his plan and change my contract end date to be his end date to compensate?

I'm trying to find the best/cheapest way to drop my friend from my plan. Thanks!

Contracts are tied to a number at Verizon. Verizon doesn't allow people out of contracts without an ETF, nor should they.
If you want to only have 1 line on your account and don't want to pay an ETF, you will have to cancel your line and take over your friend's number. No, it's not ideal, but neither is you being responsible for your friend's line.

I have had Mail for years. Have new MacBook Pro, set my old 3 accounts with Gmail, used them successfully. Yesterday, Mail rejected password to one of my accounts and does not accept it repeatedly. I entered this account from Gmail page, no problem, so my password is correct. Went back to Mail, this particular account is rejected. Checked all Mail preferences, all are the same as initially set. In both cases, the default address is right. However, upon receiving the email, it says the wrong address. Thus, when people reply to my emails, I do not get it in my apple email, I have to sign in under the other (wrong) email address.

I have followed all the steps to fix this problem, but I do not receive texts on my new Galaxy 4 from iPhone users. I tried everything I was told and found in these forums. Still no luck.

I switched to Verizon in March 2014, from AT&T. I traded in my old iPhone4 for a Galaxy 4. Ever since, I am not getting text messages from anyone who has an iPhone unless they WORK for Verizon. I have deleted my phone from my apple profile and I don't own any other apple products. I switched to an Android because I was tired of Apple's proprietary ways. It seems not matter what I do, and I have done EVERYTHING suggested here on these forums. No luck. I am so frustrated. I have a very large family and almost everyone else has an iPhone. Even if they don't, I am not getting all their messages. I like the new Galaxy, but believe I have made a huge mistake switching carriers and phones, even though I hate Apple products.

And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :
But that will potentially tie that computer to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?

As soon as I saw it I recover the password and return the access to my iPad. But iPhone is not registered for my apple ID any longer. Can Apple help me somehow? I have all the documents and the iPhone box. Will they lock the iPhone and return me access to it. I'm sure it's been attached to another apple ID.
PS. the apple ID I'm using on the discussons is not the hacked one.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

I made my main account a parental control account and when I accessed the account created as admin, at the Parental Control options I deleted my main account and now I can't get back in it. I need help with this problem.

I made my administrator account a parental control account, at the time of creating it, the system asked for my administrator password, to restart the computer, and the new account was created. When I accessed that account at the parental control menu I could see my main account on the list and i deleted the account from that list, and now i'm trying to get back to it but I'm not able to because every time i restart the computer brings me back to the account I created. I searched for help on the web and it says to go to users and select the account I want to restore but I can't do it. Please help.

Thanks for you reply. I'm 99% positive that I'm using the user id and password that I used to set up my computer. That's why I'm stumped. I read the solution someone else suggested (type your user name without @gmail and create a new password. When I tried it, I was asked for my birthday. It didn't recognize it. I know I got my birthday correct. Oh well...

Just go and buy an iTunes gift card at any store in your country.
Then follow all the steps you did, but when it asks you for the credit card number, there shoujld be a GIFT CARD option which will let you load your account witht eh funds form the gift card without providing a credit/debit card #.

To use an Apple ID, in the iTunes/App store, requires a payment method be associated with your ID. That can be either a credit card, or if no credit card, you can redeem an iTunes gift card. So, do you have a payment method associated with your account?
