We I attempt to run the program I get a error message saying that the adobe application manager is missing or need to be updated. I reinstalled the manager but I am still unable to launch any of my programs from adobe. I tried to do a trail with a program and I am still getting the same message.

Please utilize any available uninstallers that are located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once all of the available uninstallers have been run you will then want to rerun the CC Cleaner Tool. If it is asking for the screen-lock passcode then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

The update file is around 700 megs so if you're on a slow connection it does time out. You can also look into your anti virus software or firewall, it might be blocking the file. Also if you're trying to download it over 3G it won't work. There's a 20 meg cap on all 3G downloads.

I called Apple Support and they walked me through it. They told me to basically copy and paste my music to the external hard drive. (I think.) Or maybe it was they had me transfer a folder to the EHD. I don't exactally remember it was a few years back. But I tried to plug in the EHD before starting and...nothing. Still says same thing, "locate file."

Why, if it told you you have insufficient space on your computer, would it suggest making more space available on your phone?
At a guess, you have insufficient space on your phone. Installing software will typically require more space than the final size of the software, perhaps even twice or three times as much, for the installation process. You can easily dump some videos or music temporarily, and then synch them back in afterwards.

I downloaded the acrobat 9 pro series of updates. Get an error message saying that windows installer can't install. Missing or wrong program.

Here is the exact error message:

It is Acrobat 9 Pro that is installed and the upgrade file is: AcroProExUpd910_all_incr and/or AcrobatUpd911_all_incr.

HT4623 Has anyone had trouble installing 7.1 wirelessly on an ipad mini w/retina? I downloaded the update, but when I attempt to install, I get an error message saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am!

It downloaded fine, but when I attempt to install it won't verify, saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am! Tried on several wifi connections while plugged into power source. Any advice is appreciated!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

When firefox trys to auto update, or I manually download the new version, or some but not all downloads off of the web, I get this error message. C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

First off, when firefox trys to auto update, it fails. It tells me to try and download the new version from mozilla's site. When I try to download the new version I get this: (C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.)
This is the same message I have been getting when I try to download other things off the net. (When I use other browsers to download I dont have this problem)

I downloaded 5 to my itunes. When I tried to update my iPad 2 it extracted the informaion and then when it tried to restore the iPad, I got an error message saying that my iPad malfunctioned, it went into recovery mode, and it would not restore.

When I downloaded (on PC) the new 5 it crashed my iPad 2. I worked for two days to get it to stop the malfuction, went to the apple store for four hours, iPad crashed again, got a new one, new iPad crashed when I tried to restore my back up. Down loaded iTunes to an employees computer, I was able to restore iPad to factory settings but my itunes account is on my office computer and now I am afraid to plug it into my computer. I did delete the back up as maybe that is currupt and making it crash??? Any body know about this?

This is Linda again. The new iPad actually as not restored on my employees computer. I thought it was working. Message said the device is in recovery mode and can not be restored.
